Pegasus used to be a great shoe for big men with wide big feet. now they have turned it into a pointy toed generally ill fitting shoe. Used to have a wide roomy toe. now the toe box is tight and pinched. You can see that just looking at the shoe. shoe feels like the sole is too high for the shoe which otherwise feels very flimsy. pinched toe with a flimsy body to the shoe

I feel that the Pegasus has been steadily declining in terms of both style and performance since the 34s. The toe box on the 36s is very small relative to the 35s and 34s. The shoes just don't have a lot of room for your toes. Also, they do not look sharp any longer. I'm glad they cut back some of the crazy angles from the 35s, but nothing matches the understated style and performance of the 34s. Returning my 36s as I write this...

I'm a pegasus lover & user for many years. I've ran many miles with them over th he years. This version felt a little too narrow. They felt a tic too narrow. If they were had a little more sole the would hit my soul, lol. Also, they feel like they are made for faster runners, I'm more of the back of the pack squad. The angles just felt a little aggressive for my shuffle. They are comfortable & responsive, the upper & weight is awesome, though. I bet they would last a long time as well, felt very durable. A great shoe, yes, but not for my slow waddle running style, felt like the engineering was made for a faster runner.

Great shoe, have worn brooks for a while but this shoe tops my ghosts by far, light weight but soft feel, normally run 3-6 miles at a time so haven't tried long distance but after a month I'm glad I switched.

Love these shoes. Very light and comfortable. In the gun-smoke gray with tan soles, they look really good. Good for jogging (which I do moderately) and for everyday wear (two different pairs, of course). Size-wise, they are the same as other Nike shoes. I need about a 1/2 size larger in these than I need in most dress shoes.

After a long time I started to like Pegasus again. I am a long time user of Pegasus line and really liked their 32, 33 & 34. 35 was a disappointment as it was too narrow and was too big. With 36, Nike has again bought Pegasus fit and comfort that makes running effortless. I had to buy 1/2 size small 9 (instead of 9.5) but the fit was good. The shoes are bit wider at the toe area and the heals don't slip while running. The shoes are light as well and the soles are thick enough for road running. Styling wise nothing outstanding, just regular shoes that look good. Overall, I like Pegasus 36. Though they are not as good as their 34 series and don't provide same level of comfort, 36 is a big upgrade when compared with 35.

My son loves these. We bought two pairs--one for cross-country (neutral shoe) and one for everyday. They are comfortable and durable.

Used these on 3 legs of a Ragnar relay race. Loved every minute: big hills, some distance, some speed. I ran one short distance leg in pouring rain and the shoes were totally comfortable. Really happy with this purchase.

I have worn between 20-30 Nike Pegasus shoes over the last three years and never had a problem with them. In fact, I got my daughter to switch over to them as well. Nike changed the fit of the Pegasus 36 however. They decided to narrow the whole toe box. When you are buying an extra wide shoe the last thing you want is for a narrow and small volume toe box. Unfortunately I will have to send these back and look for another go-to running shoe.

I've been running in Nike Pegasus shoes for several years. This year's model, the 36, is noticeably narrower than previous models. After returning my standard size, I ordered a wide for the first time, which fit perfectly. If you've also found the regular Pegasus now too narrow, try the wide. My one complaint is that the wide size is limited to one style only, which contains a huge white bottom tread. Well, at least it's not purple.

I don't feel or the see a lot of things that changed compared to last years model. For me the shoes in size 11 are one of the few where my toes do not touch any areas or ridges that could get me blue nails. I do have that with most other running brands even though I'm buying half a size to a size up from my regular sneakers.

Super comfy. Like wearing socks with big cushions underneath. This is the first pair of Nike airs I've worn since those grey and lime Air Max's from the mid 90's. Glad I went back to Nike. Also glad these come in EE. Most Nikes seem to skim right from D to 4E. Only issue is the pointy heel looks stupid and scrapes/gets caught when going down stairs. Just docked some style stars for that. Comfort is through the roof.

The pegasus 36 fit much better than the 35s with a deeper cup and no shifting around the ankle. I still miss the fit of the 33s and 34s but these are close.

Let me start off with the bad. I like & have always loved my Nike pegasus shoes. This version felt a little narrow for a size 11, 2ee width shoe & felt like they are made for faster runners with midfoot strikes that run minus 8 minute miles. If the sole was a little bigger, wider, & if the angle/ make of the shoe was a little different I'd love em'. Cushion was great, love the bounce of them, love the upper and even the clog like heel. They wrapped my foot great, heck, even the laces didn't untie like some other shoes do. Maybe I need these in a 4 eeee width? Great shoes, but maybe not for a back of the pack runner like myself, but made for a seasoned, faster runner that will really love the new updates & appreciate it's engineering.

These shoes are disappointing. My 14 yr old son has had these shoes since May 14 (little over 2 months). They have been falling apart ever since. I’ve had to glue the tread on both shoes because it has separated from rest of shoes in places. He really doesn’t wear them that much either as that ads to my frustrations. I’ve never had a a problem with Nike shoes durability before, but when you spend $126 on a pair that don’t even last 2 months, I may be thinking differently about our next pair! Stay away from these shoes!

Originally I was happy with this shoe when breaking them in but then I randomly developed some significant calf pain on my right and then at another random time a few weeks later on my left leg. A couple months later, after healing from the above injuries, I worked up to & went on a 7 mi run (a run that I have done many times over the years). I developed some significant bilateral metatarsal pain which has prevented me from running the last 3 weeks. I run 25-50 miles per week and have never had issues like this. I spent time breaking them in before adding miles but I am very disappointed in these shoes

Gift for our son. Says he feels like walking on air......Loves Nike Air. Needs wider toe because of bunions. Thanks you for making wider shoes but don't narrow that toe down so much.

Fit perfectly; best support I’ve felt in a shoe in...my entire life? Dunno. Only (minor) issue I have with the shoe is cosmetic: kinda plain-looking. Also, no reflectors, which could be an issue for running/walking during the Dark Times.
