Too tight for high instep. I couldn’t get my foot in because of the way these are constructed, even though I ordered a wide width. The shoe doesn’t really unlace; it has a band sewn in at the tongue that made it impossible to slip my foot into... is this a shoe or a sports bra?!?

I walk one to two times per day and I got these to add into the rotation with my Nikes (which have been my tried and true brand for years) These shoes are plenty wide for the front of my foot. They are snug on my high arch, but I anticipate with time they’ll have some give. While they are described as a “lace up” shoe - and they DO have laces, they allow for minimal adjustment as the tongue of the shoe is fixed / stitched and has a snug stretchy band over that. The heel / ankle area of the shoe is a stiffer material that did rub my right ankle raw the first time wearing them - again I anticipate they’ll become more comfortable. They’re cute enough to put up with breaking in.

The tongue is stitched to the shoe part. If you have a high arch, you will not be able to get your foot into the show. Question why they did this. I usually like New Balance shoes.. Also because of this they are narrower. Try if you must, but most likely won't fit.

I love the look, love the heel, and love the toe room in the wide. The shoe fits just wide enough in the toe for my mild bunions and let’s me wiggle my toes, which is a must for me. The sides are loose on my narrow arch, though, so the tongue ends up bunching when I tie them. I think the arch is supposed to be snug, as it has a stretch elastic band across the tongue. Oh well. The toe room is more important than the funky tongue.

Perfect! Wore them for a music festival and they gave me no problems. Super comfy in the toe area and did not rub at the back of my ankle.

Love the color. Fit really well and I have a wider foot. True to my regular size. Soft and cushy. Lots of compliments on this shoe. Very happy with!

I’ve worn these for about a month and they already has a hole in the top of the shoe through the mesh material, not even where my toenail is!! Poor quality, please improve New Balance! Make the material stronger and thicker please. I saw another review on this issue too.

Ordered my usual size 6W and they fit well.

Beautiful shoe!! However, since it seemed ALL Textile with little supportive structure, I returned it since it did not seem like a good choice for serious exercise. I exchanged it for a more sturdy trail runner. For just walking around or general purpose, it would have been fine.

I REALLY wanted to keep these shoes. They are so cute, and the color way was very nice. I’m a straight 10 in *most shoes, but these seemed a whole size too small and quite narrow. I’m sure they would be really great to wear for extended periods of time, especially with the cushioned heal. Unfortunately I had to send them back. I guess with New Balance I’ll have to order up next time.

Fits well and is very comfortable. It helps my plantar fasciitis!

I’ve tried many many tennis shoes and these always win for comfort, style, and price. Hands down. I will say that I don’t necessarily run in these. A jog here or there. Lots of walking. But not consistent running.

I ordered a half a size up and they fit perfectly. I really like the style, not to fly flashy, but still not busy. Bought for after hip replacement, but wearing them now. Wide enough for the toes to lie flat. I’m impressed.
