These shoes are really, really pretty. They go well with many of my skirts and dresses, BUT because the soles are so heavy, the shoes pull on my feet as I move in them and makes them uncomfortable. They make me want to drag my feet so I don't feel the pull as much, but then it seems as though I'm walking like a sullen teen. The leather is also a bit stiff and makes squeaking sounds, I think due to my toenail. I wore them all day twice now. Despite the pulling, I didn't have any blisters. Have I mentioned just how pretty they are though? They are SO PRETTY. The other thing that took me awhile to figure out is that it says to go down a size. BUT I think the US size (in parenthesis) is accurate, and the European size that has already been adjusted down. I wear a size 9.5-10 usually and bought the 39 -- one size down, and they didn't fit. I then got the size 40 (which says US Women Size 10), and bought some other shoes at the same time. I noticed that the other shoes were sized 41. So I think that you are already sizing down when you choose your actual US shoe size in the parenthesis.

These sandals are beautiful but unfortunately run much too small for me. I am typically a size 9, slightly wide foot but ordered a 38. (I used the centimeter measurement on the Swedish Hasbeens website rather than the Zappos size chart.) The length was PERFECT but unfortunately the sole was too narrow. The sides of my feet hung off by about a centimeter. It looked silly (and is probably bad for my feet). Weirdly the leather straps around the toes were not tight at all, it was just the wooden sole that was too small. Oh well!

I would definitely recommend going down a size like the brand suggests. However, once I got the size right, I found these shoes to fit great and we’re quite comfortable to wear around all day. They’re one of my most favorite styles of Swedish Hasbeens and the color of the leather is just perfect. Highly recommend this shoe.

So I am size 9/9.5 and based on some reviews, I first ordered size 9 which was too small. I exchanged for size 9.5 and they fit well now. The leather is a bit stiff and I wore them with socks for few days first in the house. This helped loosen it up.

These are light weight. Very comfortable and stylish. I love them!

I really liked this shoe, however it was a little too big and I thought going down a size smaller it would be too small. It’s a very good quality shoe. Sadly I had to return it. I am usually always a 37 in has-beens not sure why this particular style ran a little big.

I'm really so pleased with the fit and quality of these shoes. I've had my eye on Swedish Hasbeens for a while now, and finally got the Magdalenas when they were steeply discounted. Normally, I wear a 10-11 in US sizes, so I purchased the 41. They fit perfectly! There are no tight or uncomfortable spots, and closing the strap on the second loosest setting worked for me. They really are so cute and feminine; I love the ankle strap and the red color. I wore them for about four hours on my first wear with no pain or blisters at all.

I am a size 7.5 (US) and the 7(US) fits perfectly. Love these - beautiful and great quality!

Ridiculously cute. I love them. Unfortunately, the footbed is a bit narrow. I may try sizing up.

These shoes are very poor quality, especially for the price. The leather is thin and has quickly stretched out to the point where the shoes are floppy in the toe-box and the ankle strap is very loose. Now the rubber sole on the left shoe is coming off at the toe.
