When I was a a kid, I was always the geeky one. The one with Keds. It was the cool kids that had "Jack Purcells". Envy. Envy. Envy. I'm certainly no kid anymore, but I get a bit of it back now that I have them. I love them. They're perfect.

Great shoes. Unlike other converse, these actually offer some support for your arches.

I'm often a size 7.5, sometimes a 7, rarely an 8. The 7 fit well in these. The grey color can look blue in certain lights. The insole was more cushioned that I remembered (maybe they've added some?), but there wasn't much arch support and the heel is very rough, the material is firm, and it hit my ankle in a bad way that would've caused nearly instant blisters. The style is cool though, I'm just looking for a different color and a different material.

Good quality, great looking, pretty comfortable (though not removable insole as in answer to question).

So I’m normally a size 8 in women’s shoes and I went down to a size 7 because that’s my size in Converse. I love the Jack Purcell line because they have more cushion than regular Converse. However, they recently revamped the Jack Purcell line so the new ones have an insane amount of comfort. These are the older style with more cushion than normal Converse but less cushion than the revamped Jack Purcell’s. Still awesome and I love the color.

Unlike previous models of this shoe, the insole were not removable, which was really disappointing. I have always bought these shoes, because of this feature, so that I can replace them with my orthotic shoe inserts.
