The New Balance 990s are the most comfortable shoes ever! They fit perfectly and look great! They are the only shoes I buy. If you have any feet problems, or stand/walk a lot, you will love these shoes.

I really like these shoes. Very comfortable and good support. they fit my very narrow feet. The only issue is they get a little wider over time. I will purchase them again.

This is an UPDATE to a review I wrote 7/5/22 about the Navy 990v5. I would have deleted my previous but review but Zappos does not allow that. So here's my take on the 990v5 Navy after wearing them for several months: INCREDIBLE! In the first review I said the materials and manufacturing were inferior in the Navy color. I already owned the Grey and the Black in the 990v5, so it was surprising and disappointing when I got the Navy ones . . . I THOUGHT. But here's what happened. I did not buy the Navy shoes from Zappos (out of stock). I found an independent NB dealer online and got them from him. Got a few other NB shoes from same dealer and noticed a pattern, then put 2 and 2 together and figured out he is selling FACTORY SECONDS -- defective in design and cheaper materials. I sent ALL of them back. Since then, the Navy 990v5 came back in stock at Zappos and I bought them. What a difference. The quality is just what I expected -- same as the Grey and Black pair I have -- excellent, no design flaws, no crooked stitching or mismatched shoes. Just perfect. Lesson learned: Buy the 990 only from Zappos or direct from New Balance (if you must). Zappos is always my preferred source. They have more stock, the best customer service and the shoes are here in 2 days! The 990v5 is the most comfortable and supportive shoe I've ever worn. I have so many foot problems and foot pain, but in these I can walk again without hurting with every step. I wear the Navy color everyday with jeans and they look and feel amazing. Hope New Balance does not change the fit and look of these shoes. They're perfect as is and have saved my feet. No more Plantar Fasciitis -- and my Achilles Tendonitis, top of foot arthritis, Peroneal Tendonitis are so much better. Powerstep Pinnacle inserts help tremendously too. Very happy!

I work in retail and our floors and cement - these are absolute lifesavers. I can walk around in them all day and am very comfortable the entire time. I also love the way they look, which is a convenient bonus.

I learned about this shoes from a youtuber, and tried to find it in stores and online but it was sold out. And after 6 months, it's worth the wait,! I'm loving this, it is so comfortable and I can wear it in different styles and outfit.

My wife suffers with Plantar Fasciitus terribly. These shoes, combined with her support liner, are the ONLY shoes we've found that give her relief.
I bought two pairs, just in case NB quits making the 990. Size 10D. Prior pair lasted about five years.

The NB shoes are so worth the money because they are stylish and so comfortable! I have an adult-onset form of muscular dystrophy that causes issues with my feet and my Podiatrist recommended these shoes about 2 years ago. I only buy NB and they are keeping me out of braces for now.

This is my go to shoes now!! Price point was not the best but since it was made in the USA that explains it. I was after the comfort anyways since it came with ortholite insert so its really soft. Definitely consider it as a staple in my wardrobe, really goes well with my outfits whether its for casual or formal.

I have flat feet.
A few years ago when I got replacement orthotics the doctor recommended Nb 990 & showed me he was wearing them. My leg pain went away even before the new orthotics arrived & they haven't been off my feet since. Thank you for helping me walk pain free.

These are the most comfortable (and most expensive. Lol) sneakers I've ever purchased in my life. I tried them on and I was so happy because of how comfortable they are. I previously had a pair of 574 Cores in the same size I got in these but they weren't anywhere near as comfortable as these. They were worth every penny!

New Balance made in the USA is the only sneaker I have warn for over 45 years. I can start walking the day I put them on. I have. Short wide foot, 5D
and New Balance makes them perfectly. I just bought grey ones and that's what usually get, love the color. And last year I purchased a pair of navy blue which I also like. Please never stop making them as you do and in the USA. I truly love walking in them, try to get my walk in daily as long as it's not too hot. Thank you, Carol

At first, I wasn't sure about the purchase because they were a little tight, but after 1 day of wearing them they adjusted to my feet, and now at 1month after receiving them they're my favorite shoes!
