Great fit, plenty of toe room - which is what I needed. Nice looking outer with subtle flecks of fuscia. I got these right before going on a 10-day trip with lots and lots of walking, some on jagged rocks and uphill. Very pleased with the comfort of these shoes, the stylish look and how they held up over such terrain and duration. I will only buy Brooks from now on.

This brand was recommended by my podiatrist. I put in custom orthotic, and have had no issues. The shoes provides enough cushion for my plantar fasciitis. The shoe fits comfortably, with either thick or thin socks. This is not a constrictive feeling shoe.

The lining in these was rock hard and did not seem to support my foot the way I needed it to. No arch support to speak of.

I have bad feet and require orthodics, so after several recommendations, I decided to try out Brooks. It's clear these have much better arch support than other sneakers, even before putting in my inserts. They look cuter than the pic too, with little flecks of teal throughout the gray.

I almost purchased a more expensive pair of Brooks based on this shoe's not so awesome reviews but I'm so glad I gave these a try. They fit great and are very comfortable and attractive. I love them!

I bought both Anthem and Launch. They both are very comfortable and hugs my feet well. Anthem gives slightly wider/roomy feel around the front half of the feet than the Launch. I have not run in them yet to write an accurate review, but they do have decent cushion all around (and not just around heels).

I ordered these and the Levitae 2 to see which ones I liked better. I ended up choosing the Levitae 2 over the Anthem 2 because they were more comfortable.

I am confused by the shape of this shoe. The heel and footbed fit perfectly yet there is an enormous amount of space in the toe, both width- and height-wise (but not length-wise, so I am definitely wearing the right size). I could wear a second pair of socks in the toe and the shoe would still be wide enough for my toes to slide sideways inside the shoe. I wonder if I got a lemon? I am considering returning them.

They were awful for my feet! I own 2 pairs of the Brooks Revel 2 and they feel much more comfortable than these Anthems and the Revel 2 cost less money. I recommend to anyone if you buy these order a size up, they are not true to size. However they do look like the picture thats advertised.

I really love these shoes. I was able to put my powerstep insoles in them and start wearing them all day long immediately. I have Morton's neuromas combined with neuropathy from back surgery on one foot and plantar fasciitis on the other foot. Needless to say my feet are picky about shoes. These are wonderful. I put them on first thing in the morning and happily wear them all day. Love the colors.

This sneaker I chose for it's color, and it being my 5th pair of Brooks, I was thinking I was sure to love them, but NO! The fabric they are made of is very soft and comfy, almost like a thick sock, but that did not work well in the heel. After having these for less than 30 days, the heel started to break down and cause it crush in, and to rub painfully. I untie my shoes every time I take them off and on, so this isn't just from trying to squeeze my foot in lazily. They were the most disappointing pair of Brooks I've ever purchased. If your looking for soft, cuteness you don't plan on wearing much, these might fit nicely into your rotation, but if your a 12 hour nurse like me who works 3-5 shifts a week, you won't get more than 2 months out of them!

These are my first pair of Brooks. I wish I had worn Brooks sooner because I developed plantar fascitis from being on my feet for too long. These shoes have excellent arch support and walking feels so nicer now. I was always a Nike shoe lover for its style but realized they were destroying my feet. These Brooks pair are stylish and feel great.

I gave it five stars because I probably should have ordered wide. I stupidly wore these for the first time on a five mile walk. They HURT. I'm wondering if they are returnable? I only wore them once...but it was for five miles.

I ordered a half size up and they fit perfectly! They are lightweight and very comfortable! The sole is very cushioned that makes walking/running more enjoyable!

Perfect walking shoe to coordinate with spring and summer clothes. Look great, feel great. Honestly, I can't tell the difference between the insoles they come with and my superfeet. I like the fabric upper which has a mottled color and a slightly glazed feel, which should give it more wearability than just plain mesh, but should be fairly cool to wear.
I'd also recommend:
Selewa makes a good trail runner which I wear in nasty weather for walking.

Brooks are a foot saver when working in the hospital, or any line of work that requires ample walking & standing. I love my Brooks

The side and fit were perfect...I normally wear either 8.0M or 8.5M. Ordered both and decided to keep the 8.0 even though I could have gone with either. This shoe is light and the arch support is incredible. I immediately took it on a 5 mile walk and it performed like a gem and no break in period.

I went to Dicks and tried on. Never had Brooks before. This shoe was $20 more there plus returning there means getting a credit ?. I love Zappos and love these shoes. Fit well and support my feet. Brooks from now on!

True to size, very comfortable, no break in, foot doesn't shift around in toe box as I thought it would. I love these. Any shoe that makes me happy to go to the gym should be awarded a Nobel prize.

The shoe depth is not great for orthotic inserts but I will make it work with alternative lacing options. Can't complain for the price. Better than $160 for ariels.

Cute. However... Not as cushioned or bouncy as Launch or Ghost. I have a narrow foot and felt it was slightly loose. Wish they came in narrow. Keeping them tho because they are cute and look good with leggings as athletic wear. I prefer to run in my ASICS Cumulus or Brooks Launch.

I did not even try these on. They arrived and looked "used". They look as if someone had just taken them off and thrown them in the box and mailed them to me. They were IMMEDIATELY RETURNED.

Yup. Excellent. Good for road running. Cloth upper is nice and breathable. And of course, no break in necessary.
