This shoe is fantastic for anyone with a high arch and plantar fasciitis. Super comfortable the moment I put them on and only got more comfortable as the day went on!

This is a shoe that looks like it would be extraordinarily comfortable but unfortunately I had to take it off as soon as I put it on. There is a huge lump that I suppose is arch support but unless you have an extremely high arch already, this shoe is unwearable. The color is a nice neutral color if you think it will fit you. I packed it right back up and back it goes.

I have high arches and these shoes are very light weight, supportive and comfortable. I wore them all day and loved them!!

I really like the look of this shoe and the leather is very soft. Unfortunately while it doesn't hurt my foot with bunions, because the leather is so soft, it's pretty unsightly to see the bumps under the leather. Also, it fits high on the foot so if you have a high arch, it may cut into top of foot. I'm on fence with these because they are comfortable but uncertain if I can live with the bumpy appearance. The color is great and neutral, the heel is a good heighth for walking.

They are really cute, size perfect, but the arch is to high and make my foot roll to the outside. To bad became other than that great shoes, but have to send them back ??

The first pair that arrived was a size 6. The pair was large and unmatched...the left felt much larger than the right. This is usually not a problem for me with shoes. I re-ordered in a size 5.5, and the sandal fits well. The style is not as flattering as I expected; however, the comfort will be wonderful when I am walking all day long!

Unfortunately, this shoe didn't look as good on my foot as I hoped. The top was a nice soft leather, but the edge over the toe was harder and hurt my big toe. Also, my foot did not feel secure and supported.

Who said comfortable shoes have to be expensive? I have two pairs of Earth and with my problem feet (pf, bunions, high arches) I can walk in comfort! The Laverne sandal is great. Perfect for spring/fall weather where a full shoe is too much. Bought in black, my usual size 10M. Fit is spot on. No need for additional arch supports.

I read the reviews on this sandal prior to purchasing. I ordered my normal size in the Regal Red. This is a leather sandal not a nubuck or suede, with that being said, I expected a stiffer feel to the sandal. The support is fantastic in this sandal. It hugs your feet, the arch support for me felt a little too much when I first put it on, but after a while it was spot on! The cut of the sandal rubbed a bit on my big toe on my first wear, but has since broken in. The color is more of a brick red than a true red. The support I get from this sandal has me going back for another color! I love, love, love this brand!

I have pretty bad feet and these shoes feel great! So comfy and give just the right amount of arch support. They're also quite stylish!

Overall a very nice shoe and it would have been a dream, but the heel straps do not adjust. So, they were just a tad large on my foot and thus the heel strap kept rubbing up and down along the heel. This meant that the shoe flopped a bit on my foot and was not going to work out. So I had to return them. May order a size down as they seem like a good shoe with good support for my problem feet.

I am a true 9.5 M and the fit was fine. This has a more pronounced arch support which other reviewers have commented on. It was like the support I found in a pair of Vionic flip flops I own. All of that would have been find except something was happening with the left shoe's open are by the big toe. It cut right into my foot making these not wearable. I don't understand it since I have other Earth open toe shoes which are fine and the right foot was fine. Hopefully Zappos pulls this pair out of circulation and don't pass it on to someone else. Otherwise these would have been fine but I returned them.

The arch support is so overdone that my foot kept sliding off the shoe, especially in the heel area. Looking backward in the mirror, about 25% of my heel was hanging off the shoe. For reference, my feet are average shaped. Sending back.

Pretty shoe. Deliciously comfortable. Rich, soft leather. Too clunky for the look I was going for.

The shoe is super cute but the top of the toe opening cuts right across my big toe where the nail & skin meet. Ouch. Sorry I have to return. I tried a similar shoe from Earth in a wedge heel. Same problem. Guess I'm destined not to have them in this pretty color.

It was hard to get my foot in these and then they felt too long and too narrow. Might work well for a narrow foot.

I was disappointed that the strap for length could not be adjusted. I worried that it would stretch and no longer fit properly which is why i returned this.

These shoes, while attractive, felt like there was nothing under my arch. I will keep others instead.

I agree with the review that said the toe opening hits the base of your big toe toenail. It’s irritating. The arch is also wide sort of across your foot. They are otherwise attractive and well made just not cut well for my toe! Sorry to return them.

This is my third pair of Earth sandals, I loved the first two pair and wear them frequently. I ordered the same size, 6, but they were too large and appeared very uneven in the fit. The right shoe was larger than the left. I wondered if it was a manufacturing issue or if the fit was related to the style. Sadly, I returned the size 6 and ordered a half size smaller...I hope that they work. It is a shoe that can be worn comfortably all day long!

The red is not as pretty in person than in this photo. It looks more of an autumn red in person.

I ordered this style in my usual 9.5 B/M and it was too loose across the top of the foot. There is no velcro or buckle to be able to adjust the fit, so this one is on its way to be returned.

Very wide and no way to tighten. I wanted to love these, but beware.
