I'm a perfectionist. Drives me crazy sometimes. I've got to say that I can't find anything wrong with these boots. When new they have a little heel slip, as they should. Over time, the boot's leather will form to the shape of your foot and the slippage will lessen. Took about eight hours to break in and they're now perfect.

I normally wear a size 10, but had to go with 10-1/2 in these boots. My foot is somewhere between a 10 and 10-1/2, so I think the pointed toe resulted in the need for the larger size. I would definitely buy these again and will likely buy the similar style Rudy boots with square toe.

Fit was perfect. Comfortable right out of the box. I ordered my normal size 11. Received compliments the first day I wore the boots.

after speaking directly with Lucchese, these boots have a padded insole unlike their western boots and they recommend 1/2 to a full size larger. What I didn’t understand is that nowhere on their website nor any of the resellers is this mentioned . It would make more sense if they did and it would save the resellers and the consumer the extra $$ and time to have to return them. Anyway, love my boots, have 15 pairs of Lucchese’s and always been a huge fan.

I researched and tried several boots but could not find a boot I liked from a style standpoint and mostly comfort standpoint. The Lucchese Rusty was spot on! Love the look and this is the most comfortable boot I have ever worn!

Leave it to Lucchese to get softsole roper boots right! The last, heel height, insole cushioning and width were spot-on. Great-looking boot, as well.

Boot felt too narrow when I first tried it on. After a week of wear, it now feels comfortable.

After speaking to a Lucchese rep, they recommended 1/2 size up with the padded insole, but when I received them, I couldnt ever get either foot in the boot. Guess I should had ordered a EE. Of course they didnt have my size. Needless to say, I was very dissapointed and had to send them back. I work abroad and will not be here for receive the size i need if and when they are available again.
