Fit and size were fine. They look great. They only lasted 6 months with relatively normal wear. This is extremely disappointing for a pair of shoes that cost nearly $100. I will never buy this brand again.

I just love these shoes. The size and comfort are perfect. However, the overall quilty of the shoe is terrible. DO NOT PURCHASE as the shoe will only last a short time before falling apart. I actually went through two pairs of the same shoe as the first pair did the same as the second. My second pair which is the image of the attached fell apart in a short time. These were rarely worn from March to September of 2020 as I wore my sandels all summer, just started wearing them again and this happened!

I really tried to like these but ended up returning. I have wide-ish feet and sometimes, but not always, buy wide shoes. I ordered three sizes (my normal size, a half size smaller, and a full size smaller). The normal size was absurdly big. The half size smaller was OK in the width but a good inch longer than they needed to be. The full size smaller was good in the length, but then uncomfortably narrow. So if you have narrow or normal feet, you should order a full size smaller. If you have wider feet, you might be out of luck.

Wanted the black but it was out of stock, so I purchased the grey. Overall, very attractive shoe and similar but lower priced than the Cole Haans I've also owned. These feel a little more structured and stiff than those, but I have only worn them once and they're still breaking in. As with other Borns, they are comfortable. Because of the other reviews, I ordered a half size smaller. (I typically wear an 11 but ordered a 10 1/2). It was the right move. These are still quite roomy. Very nice with jeans and can be worn with khakis too. Will see how they wear before buying the black ones once back in stock.

Fit and Size were solid and the shoe is really comfortable especially after the leather broke in. Sadly the stitching that keeps the sole together tore after 5 months of wear. I'm really surprised that a $90 shoe only has a single stitch keeping the entire shoe together.

So disappointed in these. They look and feel great, and I've always loved Børn! But as others have noted, the sole-to-upper stitching is lacking, to put it mildly. Mine lasted about 8 weeks before the stitching blew out. Don't get these. I should have listened to the other reviews.

Never heard of the Born brand before, but I liked the look and the fact you can replace the insole. I'm not sure about other reviewers here, but for me - size 10.5 and they fit perfectly. I've had them for about a week now - wearing them daily including a couple days of 10,000+ steps around a convention center. Feet feel good even after all that.

The finish of the leather is very nice and soft. The color was true to photos. They do fit large though. I'd go down a half or full size.

My husband bought these shoes back in October 2019 and loved them. But about a month ago he noticed the stitching around the heel of one shoe started coming loose. Fast forward to this morning (01/31/20) and the leather body of the shoe is actually separating from the rubber where the stitching fell apart. So frustrating and disappointing!! For $90 you expect the quality and durability to be there! Thankfully Zappos takes care of their customers, so we’re back on the hunt for some new shoes....but never again from Born.

Great shoes! Very stylish, look great with jeans and a good value. The leather is quite luxurious for the price. I think they look better than the To Boot New York version that costs $350. The insoles are quite cushioning and feel like you are wearing slippers. I'm typically close to a size 12 now, but these fit me perfectly at 11.5. Highly recommend!

Great shoe! I got the grey pair and love the "dolphin" color. Nice full grain leather. They're comfortable and have very little support, which is great for my flat feet with small arches. My feet are also wide and these work great. They took a couple hours of wearing to stretch a little but they fit great. I'd definitely recommend these to anyone looking for some cool looking casual shoes.

My 11 year old son picked these out. I was initially thrilled with his choice because I've always been a fan of Born. They look sharp and he loves the comfort. Problem is that the stitching is unraveling, after barely any wear, so they look terrible and look like he's had them for years (not just a few weeks, 10 days of which he was quarantined!). Very disappointing. To have to spend money now to get them repaired, which is clearly needed, really just angers me.

Something has happened with the quality of these shoes recently, as the last 2 pairs I received in last 3 months -- returned one and got another pair -- fell apart within a few weeks of wear. Very disappointed, as I loved the first pair I owned, which lasted for more than a year without incident

Perfect leather sneaker for dress or casual. Third pair now, own black, navy suede, and grey. Wishing sold in white. Ultimate service and timely shipping. Won't shop anywhere else for footwear.

The fit is perfect (at least for my size 11 feet). Boy are these comfortable, too. Looking forward to getting a lot of wear out of these for something a little dressier than a gym sneaker, but not a full blown dress shoe.

As with other reviewers, I ordered a half-size smaller than my typical size (I wear a 10.5 in most brands so I ordered a 10) and they fit just right. They were delivered quickly and in great condition. I find they go well with jeans and are a comfortable, casual, simple, every day shoe that's a step above athletic shoes. I'll see how they wear over time and may come back and get a different color next time - just to try something different. Overall, they were as described and I'm very happy with the purchase.

These are super comfortable shoes. Great arch support and a lot of cushion. I've worn them to work a few times now and even the first day they felt great all day long. They are made with real leather, so you see some imperfections and the color changes a little in the crease after you break them in. But they look great as a dressy casual shoe.

I have wide feet and it can be difficult to find shoes that feel comfortable. I'm extremely impressed with the high quality of Born Allegheny shoes. They feel great and look fantastic. Very happy with my purchase, I will be picking up more pairs.

These are awesome shoes, probably the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn. The materials and workmanship are excellent and the look is contemporary and stylish. First time buyer of Born, won't be the last I'm sure.

I love these shoes, super comfortable and look great w jeans. One thing, I'm normally an 11, but the 11s I ordered were too big. I sent them back and the 10.5 pair were perfect, so I guess they run a bit big.

Stylish shoe. I returned due to shoe very firm and rubbed my heel. I wasn’t sure if breaking them in would correct the stiffness and rubbing I experiencing. Same shoe with softer leather and I would love them.
