I use these Gorun 7 shoes for my speed work runs and sessions, they are lightweight and comfy and fast, perfect.

This is my second pair of Gorun 7s which are a big step up in performance from my previous Goruns (6 and 5s). I use them for everyday running, including speedwork and race in the Gorun Razor 3s. The 2 together make an ideal pairing. My only complaint is that both shoes are extremely hard to get hold of in the UK. I hope Skechers will improve distribution of their excellent performance line in the UK.

I walk for exercise, so I selected Skechers best running shoe. It's as good as any other brand running shoe at half the price. I took the shoelaces off. They aren't necessary. The tongue-less fit is snug and sturdy enough. So just slip on and run!

I specifically use these shoes for running. Theses shoes are versatile and can be used for daily walking and travel. The shoe fits true to size and are extremely comfortable. While running, it feels as if the shoes rebound with each stride making my runs more energy efficient. I don't recommend wearing these shoes while lifting weights as they are curved for running, making you footing unstable while lifting weights.

I run on GoRun since the 4th edition. The outer sole of the 7th is awesome. Upper mesh change on the 6th was a bold move and I'm really glad they keep it almost identically on the 7th. This is highly comfortable. The toe box is narrower and it uncomfortably squeeze my little toe, which was not the case with same size of previous edition.

Feel is excellent. Ideal as a IRONMAN shoe but just don't expect to train in it. Sole was destroyed after 4 weeks of 50km per week training - yes that's right 200km. Shocking. It does feel good when you race but it's a really expensive shoe if you have to get 12 pairs a year...

The hyperburst sole is awesome. Unfortunately, Sketchers seems to be making their GoRun shoes more narrow with each iteration. this one caused a blister on my little toe which has never happened before. also, there is too much midfoot volume on my left shoe. offered the shoe to a friend.

I've put a few thousand miles on a handful of different Skechers shoes over the last year, including a 50 miler in the GOrun Max Road and my first sub 3:00 marathon in the GOrun Razor. This shoe competes with with both when it comes to foam and cushion, however, the upper has lots of room for improvement. It is narrow in the toebox , causing toes to squish together leaving me with my first hotspot between my toes in years. The knit material the upper is made of is nice, for the most part, but in the toe, gets very stiff and unforgiving on toes. The mid section of the upper is FAR to voluminous. When trying to cinch laces material bunches creating bunched sections of material that bother metatarsals on top on foot. I don't hate the shoe, but I'd recommend a GOrun Razor or Ride before this one for the purpose.

I'm excited that the GOrun 7 is so much better than the abomination that was the GOrun 6. I've been running in GOrun's since #1 and loved 3, 4 and 5. When I wore out my last pair of the 5s, I tried the 6. I lasted half a block before I knew they were terrible and never put them on again. Thankfully in the 7, Skechers mostly fixed the part that goes around the ankle and it can at least get tight enough to feel mostly secure. MOSTLY secure that is. They're also a bit more narrow than the 5s - my pinky toe rubs a bit. I wouldn't want to race on a course with turns in these or trail run in them like I used to in the 5s. But they're serviceable for now. And the blue looks great.

I am a HUGE Skechers GoRun fan!! I have owned most GR Rides and a couple GRs. I order online, buy a size 14, put them on and run until they wear out. Simple. After all these years the size has never varied and since my feet are in that whole size only range I really appreciate this consistency. I've purchased Sauconys where I can be a size 13, 14, or 15 in the same model, but different release year. Well, I am afraid this is the Skecher shoe that isn't consistent. I have a normal width size 14. My Hyper 7 is longer than my other GRs by a 1/2 size and they have WAY too much fabric. When I put these on I feel like my feet went on a crash diet and have all this loose skin around them. I tie these shoes to where laces scrunch together the overlapping tongue fabric and I can still grab a handful upper fabric on the arch side of the shoe. For the first time ever I was considering sending back a pair of Skechers, but having grown so confident with the GR fit I threw the box out at work, where I had these shipped, and just stuffed them in my gym bag. I regretted doing so when i later tried them on. I saw Ginger Runners review of this shoe stating the same thing, but was so excited about the HYPER I bought them anyway. Now I can confirm Ginger Runner was right these shoes have too much fabric and the fit is larger than all my other Skecher performance shoes. Hopefully the next Hyper I buy, be it a Go Run Hyper 8 or GR Ride Hyper 8, I will try them on first. Skechers, please rectify this, because it would be a world class shoe otherwise.

I normally love Skechers Performance shoes, and have many pair! I am also a big fan of the Skechers Performance Razor 3 Speed Shoes! * However, I wish that I hadn't purchased the Ride 7 Hyper shoes, because it's difficult to get the upper locked down, to the point where I look and them and continually choose not to use them.

Previous GORUN 7 did 1734 miles (317 runs) still gives good cushioning though tread now worn smooth. New design has lost cushioning after only 194.5 miles of running (35 runs)

Poor quality . Bottom green rubber started coming out. Company doesn't consider it is a manufacturing defect. Loss of money and time.
