Lightweight!!!! Love it from a space standpoint- can carry a lot of stuff. My only critique- it doesn't have a plastic side handle. My 21" has one for lifting the bag on its side and it helps a lot.

I noticed a little wear on one edge after just one trip. But I like the roominess and the large mesh fully-zippered pouch on the inside of the lid; I used it for footwear among other items. I also like the ease of handling with the four spinner wheels, my first of this type. Overall a good piece of luggage.

This is the perfect check-in for a 10 day trip. I have owned several and purchased them for family. Unfortunately, the color selection has dwindled and doesn't seem to be re-stocked. I have the navy (midnight?) carry-on but can't replace my 25" spinner to match. I wish I had more options!!

It is light weight and does expand, and its the right size for longer trips, but already I can see that the quality of the rollers is not the best. They show a tendency to wobble instead of smoothly rolling.

Love the color and design. Have not yet used to for a trip, but instead used the international carry-on and the large expandable spinner.

I have been buying Travelpro for some time. You can go in two directions: ultra light for convenience or built like a tank for durability. Unless you fly every day, I recommend ultra light. My spouse informs me that I curse less when I have a lighter suitcase.
This is an improvement on previous models in that they have removed things that can break. The front zipper is gone. It has only one (not two) netted pouch inside. They removed the garment bag (which bordered on useless). However, they should have left a small loop inside that place so you could bring a hanger. I prefer to bring a button down shirt or a jacket on a hanger and take it directly from my bag. The interior straps do not do a good job of holding in packing cubes. Again, this is a more basic version that will get me by at a decent price. I am hard on luggage period so I plan on buying a new one every five years.

I had a version of this bag with more bells and whistles. They removed the front zipper, which broke on my last model. Happy about that. They removed the plastic pocket, which I am ok. They removed the suit

This case has a very spacious size and comes in beautiful colors. We had no trouble identifying ours at bag claim. The zippers were durable and the lid is full size. I do think the "expansion" part is a bit of a joke. If I need more space it's not going to be an extra inch at the bottom. I'd need it all over. Also, the outer material snagged in a few places, not full tears, but after one trip the case looks well traveled. We got four of these cases and one of them now has a dent along an edge. Completely functional still, but again, I'm not sure how long these will hold up. We have a set of smaller travelpro cases that will last a lifetime compared to these.

Earlier I had purchased a 21" carryon. This purchase was similar but in the 25". It had a fake pocket on the side where the 21" was real zippered pocket. Why add a fake pocket at all.

It is good for what is needed but I think 2 carry on size would suit me better. Lighter weight for me to wrangle.

I am looking forward to using this suitcase. I hope it stands up to airline use (mis) use.

Beautiful color. Very light. Easily rollable. Have not traveled with it yet so can't tell how easy it is to roll on carpet with 50 lbs of stuff in it though. Hope it won't disappoint me.

Nice suitcase. We used this on a three week trip to 4 different cities, flying and driving, and it was just what we needed. I especially like that it is sturdy and lightweight. So far, it has held up very well.

Just replaced a Travel Pro case with this one and love how spacious and light it is however - just took it on its first plane trip and one of the pulls on the outside zipper came off. I was VERY disappointed. Please let me know how that can be replaced.
PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL. My responses below relate to this purchase. My prior TravelPro suitcase was indestructible. I loved it.

Very lightweight, which is good, but feels and looks like frame could easily be bent or crushed if suitcase is not filled to capacity.

Travelpro has great products. I bought this suitcase for my husband in addition to a similar one from another Travelpro collection. He chose the one from the other collection. Even though the Maxlite was slightly lighter he liked the 4 wheels and little more sustantial handle on the other model. So this one was returned. Customer service was great doing the return and it was easy peasy. We all have Travelpro luggage of various sizes and have been very satisfied with them.

Love travel pro products and will continue to use. Disappointed with this bag as the outer pocket zipper is not fully functional. I rarely use that pocket so I can work around but it was a let down because I have always received quality products from you

The weight is great. The exterior as well as the interior has an unpleasant odor which has not disappeared and I fear will cause my clothes to smell as well once they are locked into the case for many hours. Help??

I bought it because my purple Travelpro carry on has held up very well through many trips. Only used this check in bag once. I wish it came in the purple color to match my carry on. This orchid pink shows dirt after one use. Other than that it seems well made and easy to use.

I can't get the smell out of the inside. I bought one of these previously, and I don't remember any smell in it. (I'm replacing that one, because the handle stopped going up and down.) I've tried Febreeze several times, directing a fan to the interior. I hope the smell is gone by the time I have to travel.

Just the right size and very maneuverable. The only thought I find is that the inside has a very strong plastic like smell which is very hard to eradicate. I have not used it yet on a trip. Will update after my first trip with it.

It is a nice bag, but it is big and easily becomes too heavy from overpacking for me to handle easily. With the weight, the wheels often get stuck going over door jambs or carpets.

Haven't used them yet, but they look good (colors are as expected - Sapphire Blue and Midnight Blue), seem durable, roll easily and are extremely light. The zippers move easily and seem robust. Have standard options in terms of straps and zippered sections inside and pockets outside, though two on the outside would be nice. Handles are comfortable and make them easy to carry. Are true-to-size and seem to be high quality.

Very nice quality for overseas travel. I have used this bag on two international trips. The airline must have handled the bag fairly roughly as the binding and fabric were scraped following the first trip. I was able to clean scuffs and soiled spots (according to cleaning directions included on bag tags) from the surface but not perfectly. I am a bit disappointed in the obvious wear and tear. However, the case kept breakables intact and packing was easy. Lots of room in this case! I will keep using the 21" and this 28" for my travels.

Very good suitcase. We have another Travelpro of the same size that has two wheels, and that one seems like the wheels will last longer. But this one is easier to maneuver, so that's the trade off!
