These are far from beautiful but I'm too old to care about that. What matters to me is a shoe that fits with great arch support. I want to put them on and never give my feet another thought all day. These sandals fit the bill. I have had 5 foot surgeries and my feet are a hot mess. My toes go in many different direction and few shoes/sandals can accommodate this weirdness. ECCO always pulls through for me. The fit is perfect and I can walk for hours and never think about pain or blisters. Also - ECCO is NOT inexpensive but they last forever. I have ECCO shoes, sandals, and sneakers that are 8 years old and I can still wear them. Great sandals - buy them!

These fit great, slightly wide, but with the 3 adjustable velcro straps, no problem! Have only had them one day, but so far, very comfortable. I like the wide base. I have balance issue because of my knees, but these are very stable. Hubby has worked on shoes for years as an orthotic tech, and said they are well constructed, with a solid sole. I will probably order a second pair in another color.

I returned these. Both shoes, left and right, have a built-in bump or ridge right under the toe area that I found very uncomfortable and annoying. My other ECCO's shoes don't have this feature. Hated to return because, otherwise, the shoes are actually cute -- cuter than they look in photos. But that built-in bump was a turnoff. Wish it didn't have that!

I had ordered these along with the Yucatan style (my beloved, old standby). I have written about the new Yucatan. I loved the style of this Sport X-Trinsic because they looked a bit dressier and I liked the simple design of the straps. The length for my 7.5 size foot and the straps accommodated my widening toe area comfortably. However, there is a surprising (to me anyway) and odd padding under the ball of the foot that my feet found uncomfortable and hard on the foot grip. Also the sandal felt too low (not enough drop in running shoe parlance) for my flattening, pronating feet which are given to occasional plantar issues. Hope this helps the next person with "discriminating" feet!

The sandals have an adjustable fit with the velcro straps. I have a narrow foot, and the adjustable strap over the instep meant I could get them tighter to fit me well. They were comfortable to wear for several hours.

After foot surgery I needed a sandal that adjusted in the toe and ankle areas. The Velcro does the trick and while the shoe is a bit clunky looking I got compliments on it. It also gave me stability while recovering from the operation. I am sure I will continue to wear them when I want comfort and support on uneven surfaces.

I usually wear a 12, but these fit just perfectly in size 11. (Lots of room for long toes). I bought the blue and the coral. Both look really classy and are super comfortable.

A size 38 was recommended but the toe bed in this sandal was too short in this style for my 7.5M foot; my front toes felt like they were bumping into the front edge. I did like the simple and appealing look of it, with the possibility of wearing it as a "dress sandal" , but the sole was too flat (not enough drop as someone who buys running shoes) and the arch support moderate to minimal for me. I did like that the two straps over the foot were adjustable and since my feet have been flattening and widening in the toebox area, the front strap "just" barely fit! I think if you have any plantar or pronation issues, the flatness of the sole may not be the best for you. Good to see that Ecco still allows heel adjustments since my heels are narrow. That I could get to the right width! While the straps are leather, the sole is not which is a disappointment. I have been an Ecco fan for the past 6 years when I bought my one and only pair of Yucatans (they are still beloved and going but with some Shoe Goo added to the heels) and have owned both shoes and sandals. I know this brand of shoes can be hit or miss. Have written a review of this year's Yucatans.

The only thing I don't like about these shoes are the straps; they are too wide and a tiny bit uncomfortable. Otherwise, the color and size are perfect.

These were OK, but only moderate arch support. And they were too big. I have a medium width foot, and usually take a size 9. These were a size 40, and were too big. Sent back.

This shoe will never leave my house, but because I have arthritic feet, these are very comfortable. I call them my old lady shoes. Clunky, to say the least, but very comfy. You choose.

The shoe was very nice in every way. I have the problem....wide feet, especially one, bunions etc. I love Ecco shoes and always hope they will fit, but they didn't. Sad. I wish Ecco made shoes in wide. My next plan is to try a man's shoe and see if that works. ALWAYS appreciate Zappos service of free shipping both ways. You are the best.

Adding to my review, forgot to mention I like the color, but wish they came in more traditional colors too like black, tan or brown.

The fit is true to size, the sandal does tend to be a bit wider than usual for a medium but with the velcro straps that isn't a real issue for me. The sandals are wildly comfortable right out of the box ! It has really nice support throughout the footbed.

I bought this pair of Ecco Sport X Trinsic Leather Sandal for an upcoming trip to Israel. I’ve worn a few days now and very happy with the fit and support.

I really liked these sandals. The arch support was very good and I liked the wide straps that did not put undue pressure on my bunion. I was hoping to keep them, but after wearing them in the house for several hours the raised area under the toes really began to bother me. Other reviewers had mentioned this (I have something similar in an old pair of Ecco sandals) but this ridge did not fall precisely under my toes and was very hard, so I knew it would not get better over time as I wore them. Sadly, they are being returned.

I was hoping to replace my ancient Ecco sandals of a similar design. These new ones were immediately uncomfortable because of the little ankle pad on the back strap and the toe bar (I usually wear Birkenstocks which have a toe bar, but this one doesn't work.) I liked the color and really wish they had fit comfortably.

These are very nice sandals but there is a ridge in the foot bed which should hit the fit right below the toes. Unfortunately it was under the ball of my foot and made walking very uncomfortable, especially for my left foot which had surgery in December. I will, regretfully, need to return these.

The shoes looked great but were so uncomfortable. There was no give to the sole so it was like walking on boards.

I usually love Ecco Sandles but not this one. It was very unattractive looking and also hurt my feet. They were returned
