This is one of my favorite bucket hats I've ever had. It's absolutely amazing for traveling, because I've had it packed and squished in a bunch of my backpacks and luggages for more than a day, and when I take it out, it still holds its form and shape. It's really light on my head that you really only feel the waistband, the drawstring is useful for windy occasions, and it really does help with sun protection. I think the design is versatile enough that you can wear it repeatedly, as the logo is very versatile. The two small downsides are that you will need to hand wash this, and it doesn't come rain proof, but spraying it with some Nikwax fixed the latter.

Stylish and lightweight, this has been my go to hat for summer activities. Has been especially solid on boating trips since this won't fly off my head like a regular hat. Dries quick as well.

This hat is really good! I don't usually wear hats but since I am exercising outside and want to protect my face from the sun, this hat is really good. I like how lightweight it feels on my head, as if there is nothing. It feels well ventilated. The brim's material feels very good quality and is almost like a mesh so easy to clean! The design of the hat is a plus also because it looks very good even while wearing casually. The velvet sand color is the best one in my opinion. I would definitely buy this in more colors!

I run warm but got black anyways since it goes with everything. I like this version better than an earlier one I have since the brim seems to be wider and I like the retention cord since it gets windy up at 11,100' where I was today.

I can mold the hat however I want to suit my needs, it's light and compact, can fold it in my pocket with tout being scared to ruin it and it covers my nose with shade. Love it

Lightweight, comfortable sunhat. Perfect for having in your pack and small enough to put in a pocket for those moments when you may or may not need a sunhat. Fit and material allow it to breath nicely on warm days. Comfortable and light enough to provide great sun protection without the weight and bulk of other sun hats.

I wear a 7 3/4" baseball hat and the L/XL fits my enormous melon perfectly. Looks great, breathes well, packs easily. Perfect product.

I've always loved bucket hats and finally was able to get a L/XL when it restocked! I'm a size 7 3/8 for reference and it fit super well. The new version comes with a chin cord which really helps keep the hat in place. It's super light and very packable. Though not waterproof, I applied a DWR detergent and worn it in the rain a couple of times and it really held up. Would recommend hand washing it rather than machine washing it.

This has quickly become my favorite hat, EVER. The material is so light and flexible so it squishes into jacket pockets easily when I am not wearing it. I got it because I often take photos outdoors in the sun and the brim is short and flexible so it doesn't get in the way when I hold my camera up to my face. The chin strap has also prevented me from loosing this in very windy conditions and it's nice to strap it onto my backpack or hang it from the headrest in my car. It's a nice functional hat and the brim has held its shape well. I have washed it in the machine washer in a mesh bag and it came out totally fine. I have worn this on long sweaty hikes 6-12 miles and I don't feel like I am overheating inside. It's decently breathable compared to other hats I have tried. I love the color and have received many compliments! At first I was worried the Offline greenish/yellow would be a bit too bold but it has grown on me and now I want a second Sinsolo Hat just in case I lose this one.

I've bought sun hats in the past, and hated wearing them as my head would overheat and feel really uncomfortable. This is the first sun hat I've ever liked. I can't believe how light it is! I've been wearing it to go for lunchtime walks in the current heatwave, and it's perfect. I also bought the Sinsola but I prefer the bucket style of this Sinsolo - looks great.

Needed a very lightweight sun hat for approach walk on Mont Blanc. Low weight and small pack size were key, and this hat meets my requirements 100%. Has some stretch and it fits very well. Gives enough protection while keeping the pack size down.

I do a lot of hiking during summer months, a little bit of fishing, and I still find myself wearing this thing in and around vancouver on rainy days. It took me about 5 months to find this hat as it was out of stock everywhere. Fit and Finish: typical arcteryx quality, stitching and seams are all tight, nothing looks unfinished. I did try on the small/medium but like others have said you have to have a real tiny head for that to fit. I'd assume 90% of people buying this should go for the large size. Breatheability: It's actually really nice for a summer hiking hat, the upper material is sort of like spandex, it'll definitely let your head breathe and help wick moisture away when you really start sweating. Brim: The brim itself does a good job of keeping sunlight out of your face I'm used to wearing bucket hats with somewhat smaller brims so for me this hasn't been an issue. The brim itself is not super rigid so when moving through heavy brush you still have to pay attention for any swinging brush when moving behind someone. Waterproofing: has a nice DWR finish but after some time it's faded away a simple wash and spray and it was pretty much as good as new. Packability: I've always hated carrying hats around due to changing weather (if you can't wear them they're a pain to carry around), this one is super light and can just be packed down in a pocket, the nice part about this is the upper is very stretchy, in colder weather I've been able to fit a thin toque under the hat and it actually fits quite well. Cons: arcteryx can't keep the nocturne in stock and pretty much any place in bc is out of stock. If you're thinking about buying one grab it it's really one of those pieces of gear you can't regret buying.

It is an extremely lightweight and packable product. The hat can easily fit in your back pocket to be pulled out as needed. I have used this hat in a variety of activities and it has become my go to hat. The activities included: - going for a run in +30C (it certainly protected me from the sun and my head felt cool being inside the hat) - using it as a beach hat in temperatures ranging from +26C - +40C. - being under a summer rain (kept the water off my face quite nicely. I even decided to test it by swimming and submerging whilst wearing the hat. The water rolled off the material very well and was not retained). all in all, a perfect hat. One word of caution though - the brims of the hat are quite small so they only provide shade for the eyes and top of the nose area. The remainder of the face is somewhat exposed to the sun so I would recommend going for something with wider brims for anyone wanting complete protection.

This hat was the unexpected top gear performer of my summer Rocky Mountains backpacking and mountaineering trip. It was sunny and hot. I was outside all day long for days on end. I sunburn easily and need protection from the UV rays. Not to mention I sweat a lot and I need something light that I can carry easily in a pocket. This hat is so easy to wear and it performs so well that it makes all other sun hats obsolete. I also got a lot of compliments because it looks so good! Get some!

The lightest bucket hat to date. Ive tried Kangol, Patagonia, even sweat to death under my Black Diamond canvas bucket when I was into their skis but the Sinsolo is the best by far! Very very light, very very packable. Get one.....or two!

I have the women's version (called the "Sinsola"), that I purchased in spring or summer of 2023. This hat is flattering and attractive only from the back (at least on me); but it is a very functional piece, and protects my face from the sun, so I have learned to live with the aesthetics. The chin strap is absolutely vital, so that it stays on in windy conditions. Even though my head is on the smaller side (especially going between a shaved head and short pixie cuts), I did need to size up in order to achieve better sun protection and more shade on the face, because the larger size has a wider brim. The smaller size definitely looked more attractive. I would like to see renderings of this hat that offer a more flattering, feminine aesthetic, and much more shade on the face. Side snaps and a larger brim would be helpful. I lucked out and scored a darker, greenish-blue color, but the pastel versions for the women have been tremendously unappealing. I would like to see some nice neutral, earthy colors that are much better looking.
