I have been using this courier bag daily for commuting for the past 6 months and it is holding up phenomenally. While arc'teryx advertises that it fits 12" laptops, my 13" MacBook Pro fits perfectly. While I haven't had a need for it yet, the hidden pocket is a nice feature that took me an embarrassingly long time to discover

This bag perfectly fits a 13in Macbook Pro along with a remarkable tablet, kindle, iPhone, an Atom LT jacket, and keys. The essentials (in my opinion).

I've used this bag for over a week now, commuting back and forth from work. I'm a big fan of the bag. I was looking for something that wasn't too bulky, just the right size to carry the essentials. This fits the bill perfectly. On top of that, this bag is very comfortable to carry even when it's loaded with stuff. It feels like the bag contours to my side/back. The bag also holds its shape as well when there aren't that many things in it. The padding on the strap looked thin at first, but it has been comfortable so no complaints. The laptop sleeve fits my work laptop which is 14 in and pretty thin. It did take a little bit of effort though, so anything larger is probably a no go. I do wish the inside was a little big more compartmentalized though. I haven't been caught in the rain yet, so I can't speak to the water resistance. But overall, I really like the bag so far.

I love the bag! The Pilot color is nice. At first, I was turned off by the fact that the outer buckles do not lock into place, but after wearing it and taking into account that the outer flap is just that, a flap, with the top of the bag secured with a full length zipper, even if the latches somehow unfastened, there would be no loss of contents if the bag is zippered shut. the non-locking buckles are just fine. In fact, they make for easy and quick access to the inside of the bag while shouldered. The bag is comfortable and hugs across the back really nicely. My Dell XPS 13" laptop fits just great inside the lightly padded inner pocket. And even with the laptop carried there is still plenty of room for more items. Would have liked to have seen a couple smaller pockets inside for a little better organization of items. And also a longer and self-retracting cable in the outer pocket for your keys would have been a great idea, like can be found in the Nomatic messenger. Overall, I am extremely happy with the bag. For my needs, the bag is not too big or too small, but just right. And thankfully, this is not a bag that has been over-thought, a nice, clean design and layout, and it is also comfortable over the shoulder, just the right amount of shoulder padding.

I bring this with me to work everyday and it's great. I love the construction and the materials, the mesh pockets are useful, and it can hold my laptop just fine. I did test this with a 2014, 13 inch MacBook Pro, and it fits just fine. I do wish it was a little bit bigger.

I was super concerned if this bag would fit all the electronics needed for med school, but I was pleasantly surprised that it fits a Mac book pro, an iPad, and notebooks with plenty of space to spare! Very durable and sleek!

Holds both a 13" macbook and ipad comfortably in the sleeve at the same time. Can fit some extra small items in the pouch as well as the front laminated pocket.
Ambidextrous and can be fully adjusted for either shoulder. Straps have a built in organization elastic to keep excess straps tidy. These come undone occasionally, but it is a minor inconvenience compared to dangling straps 24/7.
Underarm strap is in a weird position due to the ambidextrous design and requires a majority of the padding to be adjusted to your chest for the underarm strap to function without cutting into your underam.
Haven't had this out in a downpour but seems to be water resistant as-advertised.
Overall great, would love to see some of the LEAF design cues show up in a future revision of the Granville with a touch extra storage.

Replaced a Victronix bag that I had forever. What a step up. So much more comfortable, even when weighted. Spot for everything and solid protection of a laptop. So glad that I found this.

For its designed use, this bag is, to my mind, actually perfect. I have been looking for something exactly like it for years, and when I stumbled across one in a store it caught my eye before I even saw who made it. After a few minutes' examination, I knew I had to have it.
The ideal use is for a casual / professional crossover for someone who frequently heads out with a few essentials and wants a bag that is (1) just the right size instead of being really floppy and half-filled; (2) very weather-resistant; (3) aesthetically pleasing, but very subdued; (4) not overly technical-looking.
It has an extremely sleek appearance even while being perfectly designed for biking (especially with the cross-body strap attached) and pretty much waterproof. On the latter point, I can't speak to time in an extended downpour, but I've biked a few miles in the rain with my laptop in it with complete confidence.
The bag is pretty small: to me this was a feature because it's exactly the size I want, but don't plan on overloading it. It's perfect for my 13" macbook or an ipad, a water bottle, a u-lock, and a rain jacket in the main compartment, and then wallet, phone, and keys in the outer zip pocket. I could probably also fit in a small lunch (a sandwich, or one portion-sized container, say) but not much else. If that's about how much you find yourself carrying day to day, you could not ask for a better bag.

J'ai achet ce sac pour mon quotidien. Et c'est parfait. Il est impermable l'eau. Un ordinateur de 11 pouces peut rentrer et il reste encore de la place. Je recommande.

After a week of use, I love it. If you're into super minimalist yet rugged, it's the bag.
It fits a good amount of stuff. It's defiantly (yes I mean that) waterproof. I feel like I could throw it in a lake.
It is very comfortable and versatile. I have found that the underarm strap works equally well around the neck or just over one shoulder. The strap however is not terribly well thought out. If you're not using it, it just hangs and flops around. All it needs is an extra buckle on the opposite side or a little stow pouch and it would be great.
I would call it a cross between a climbing harness and a messenger bag. That you could shower with.
Its ultra-minimal in terms of organization. As someone who compartmentalized everything before they put it into a bag, its perfect.
Pros:
Incredibly lightweight.
Very solid construction.
Comfortable and versatile.
Holds enough stuff for a day on the go.
Cons:
That underarm strap needs somewhere to hide.
The front pouch could be a little bigger.
