Superb hiking shoe slash boot. I love the mojito shoe which I have in black. And am blown away with this shoe slash boot. I think its perfect for three season backpacking where a little ankle support is wanted while at the same time saving on weight yet still having a little stiffness and great heal capture without rolling you over on your toe too much like the Scarpa SL active and Kneisis can do. Fit is awesome. Love it don't change a thing.

The size was good but could not get a proper fit. I fet that the toe box was way to narrow and it actually pinched my toes so tightly the first time i tried it on i had to return it. Absolutely unacceptable shoe size.
Scarpa brand is great otherwise. Ive bought 4 pairs from them. Also, i plan to exchange this for a different size as the arch support felt good.

This shoe is one of the best out there! This is my 6th pair of Scarpa shoes. Great quality. Tough and comfy. Great multipurpose trail shoe!

I have very high arches, and my left foot is 11 while my right is 9.5. I have gotten away with 10s most of my life. I originally bought these in 10 and they were painfully narrow. I sized up to a 10.5 and they feel good. They’re light, feel supportive, and look good. Hopefully they’ll put up with 15 years of hard use across three continents like my last pair of boots...

I used to wear Scarpa Mojito low-tops in 42.5/9.5 but at some point either Scarpa changed the foot form or my feet changed. 42.5 took my toenails off and 43 was too big. So I gave up. Several years - like maybe 5-6? - I got these in 43 and they fit perfectly. And they required very little break in. Shoe sizing is so weird (I am a cyclist too and cycling shoe sizes are nuts) but I would say this is an honest to gosh size 10. Not a 9.75 or a 10.25. So great relief to find a shoe that actually fits and seems to have hit upon something like consistent historical sizing. As far as waterproofness, I don't need much so I am not too worried about that feature. They are warm, but I knew that from wearing the brand previously.

These are not my first pair of Scarpas. They are truly great hiking boots. Definitely get a half to one size larger than your normal shoe size, they do run a bit narrow. I have relatively wide feet, but narrow heels, so I got a size 9.5 and they fit perfectly. Oftentimes when I get something that fits in the width the heels are too wide and they never feel stable. If you can get the sizing right, you will LOVE these hiking boots. Luckily Zappos makes that easy with their free return policy!

These are beautiful hiking boots. They are a bit narrow, which is ok for me as I bought a 45 and I’m actually a ladies 13 med. I usually buy men’s 11.5 for sports shoes. The snug fit is a bit tight on my bunion but I expect with thinner socks and continued wear they’ll mold to my feet and it wasn’t so tight that wearing them for a 1& 1/2 mi of walking to break them in, I felt any discomfort during or after. If you are a true 11.5 men’s D, however, consider the 45.5. It’s The ankle support is really good and overall they are pretty awesome!

It's shoe with a lovely style, look and finish. The fit initially fit well; however, after awhile wearing it within the house my foot started aching. I don't know if it is too narrow for my foot, or the shoe too rigid or a combination of both.

This is a update from my previous review.
After giving these boots some break in time, I am Sad to say these boots do not fit as well as many of the other Sacrpa shoes I have bought in the past.
They felt a little narrow when I first wore them, but since so many other Scarpas I have had required a bit of break in time, I thought this pair would just need to be worn and things would be fine. The boots never really adjusted to my foot, (which is NOT wide) They hurt to wear and now sit in my closet sadly. Way to narrow!!! Unless you have a narrow foot, do not buy these boots!
