Perfect shoe for the athletic and sporty guy or gal. Chaco sandals are very true to size and this style is absolutely the best! The MegaZ has perfectly soft straps right out of the box, a firm and comfortable footbed, and the Z styles won't create a tourniquet around your big toe like some of the other styles.

My first pair of Chacos lasted me about 15 years. I was concerned about the newer versions of the sandal without the vibram sole. Well, this pair fits better out of the box better than my favs that lasted me for so so long. They are lighter. The cushion on the footbed is more comfy. I love these sandals so much I went out of my way to get on this site to write a review...something I usually avoid doing. You get what you pay for. These will last me at least a decade.

My husband was pleased with the Z Cloud sandals I bought him for our upcoming trip. The size 11 was perfect as he is anywhere from and 11 (sandals) deck shoe/boat shoe 11.5 and in some dress shoes a 12. He tends to have a narrow heel which makes sizing difficult at times. These sandals were comfortable. The straps are long after he pulled them to fit but we will cut off the excess after some wearing. The wider straps seem to make these a great guy sandal which I like on him. This isn't a flimsy sandal and is great for walking. Love the dark green and black color. I bought the last one!

I'm not a huge Chaco fan. I hate the toe loop, but thought I'd try these since they don't have it. They run about 1/2 size large, but only come in whole sizes. I find them difficult to fit, and very clunky. I prefer the Merrill or Teva styles. I am returning them as soon as I can get out to do it!

Nice sandal, but not enough play in the front straps to get a foot with high arches into. Other Chaco styles I've tried allow more play in the overall straps, by allowing all straps to slide to fit. This model has stitched straps at the heel.

Prior to a recent vacation to Portugal I wanted a sandal that would allow for lengthy amounts of walking with good footing. My go-to walking shoes have been my Hokas, but I wanted something that would allow my feet to stay cool. I have had Keen’s in the past but didn’t want the sweaty closed toe. I have had Tevas, but the little plastic triangle where the straps come together digs into my ankles in a dreadfully annoying way, plus I’m also not a fan of how much sand tends to get trapped in the velcro straps. I decided to give these Chacos a try and was not disappointed. I got the version with the wider strap. The clever design feature is that the strap pulls through sole and allows for proper adjustment to the width of your foot and at different points of contact. When put to the test walking up steep and slippery wet cobblestone streets, the sandals did not slip on the surface nor did my feet slip around inside of the sandal. After about 6 fairly strenuous miles of walking the first day, my feet were happy and pain free.

This is my third pair of Chacos, and the best fitting one yet. Even as I approach 70, walking 3-4 vigorous miles and nature hikes remain part of the routine - and there are no better sandals for these activities than Chaco Mega Z/Clouds. Thank you for this excellent product.

Fit and size as expected, sadly the quality seems to be going down each year.

The wide “mega” straps make a big difference for my feet. I prefer this design without the toe loop in the Z2 series.

I have narrow feet, but these fit comfortable. They've also widened the straps over previous models which makes them more comfortable and probably longer lasting. These arrived promptly and exactly as described.

Chacos are great. Period

Excellent for indoors and outdoors. I started using these because I needed a house shoe with excellent arch support to combat my plantar fasciitis. They helped a lot, and I've now started using them for all purposes -- they have helped me as much as the custom orthotics that I got for my running shoes. I ended up getting two pairs, and I wear these around the house, driving, walks, short hikes, and even light jogs. If you're looking for a very versatile shoe with good arch support then I strongly recommend these. About my foot: Moderately high arches, fairly narrow foot, but wide in the toe box.

Perfect for summer and sports activities. Loved it.

I ordered these for my husband. He LOVES them! They are extremely comfortable. Offer great arch support. Can be worn out and about. You don’t have to worry about them getting wet. They are very well made.

My husband preferred the Tevas over this sandal since he has narrow feet.

Order one size larger. This runs one size smaller than my husband’s previous Cloud Chacos.

Carved the heck out of the side of my big toes. Perhaps I didn't adjust them properly, but it was still super annoying. I ended up giving them away.

Great shoe - just doesn't fit my foot. For something designed with high arch support, the straps don't work for people actually with high arches. I couldn't even get my foot in the shoes, and then when I painfully forced my foot through the tight Z strap it was unbearably uncomfortable. Good bad because the foot bed and soles are great, but Chacos just don't work for me and I'll have to go back to Tevas

The box contained one Chapos sandal and one Teva sandal. Something happened with quality control.

This is the second pair I've bought in last 2 weeks & 3 of the 4 shoes had the front angled strap very loose & I didn't see any way to tighten it.
