Fits perfectly, comfortable, light and soles grip well. I hike in Colorado. Not a winter hiking shoe but perfect on rocky, muddy or even icy trails.

I usually get size 8.5 in Merrell, however, these were truly a half size too large, seemed to be a 9. I returned them with no issues and bought a size 8 which fit perfectly like all my other 8.5 size Merrell shoes. Maybe there is a manufacturing mistake in how they are labeling the sizes, because it was exactly a half a size larger. And, It's one of the few sandals I can wear orthotics in because it has a semi closed in heal. So all in all a great shoe for me.

Trying to find sandal / watershoe and have tried 1/2 dozen different brands and styles. By far this one was the most comfortable, felt just like the Merrill Moabs I wear every day. HOWEVER, there were 2 major problems with this shoe. 1) They run HUGE. They are at a minimum a full size larger than my normal shoe size. I could try different sizes to remedy this but the next problem has me thinking I won't both. 2) The left shoe felt great - other than being WAY too long in length. But the right shoe, while still too long, felt like an entirely different shoe altogether. It was narrow and had a very uncomfortable bulge on my outer insole. I couldn't even where it around the house for 2 minutes it was that painful. I checked the tag in both shoes and bother were the size I ordered, 12 Medium. There seems to be a significant quality control problem for the left and right shoe to feel SOOOOO different. I am returning them and trying something else.

Comically missized. I have worn size 15 Merrells for many years. These Choprock Shandals are easily an inch to an inch and a half longer than my All Out Blazes. They honezy looked like Size 17 or 18 coming out of the box. They seem to run super narrow too. Sure wish Merrell would bring back the original All Out Blaze.
