I have both the saucony xc2 and xc8 and they are a perfect fit for me and what i was hoping for in this was the exact same fit with a more robust sole and aggressive traction for more rugged trails... the fit is totally different no matter how tight I make the boa lace closure the shoe does not secure my foot in place adequately to prevent the ball of my foot from sliding forward and even had my toes slide into the end of the show and I just wore them ona day hike with my kids, for this reason I never actually wore them on a trail run.(caveat: I have a narrow foot and am not a fan of the expansive toe-box styles) I stuck with the XC8's for my runs because they fit like a glove no blistering or sliding I would just like an xc8 with more aggressive traction for trails and a rubber that maintains grip on stones when wet. If I was just buying these shoes for everyday wear I might have justified keeping them but for the price I was expecting premium performance and I can't justify keeping these and am sending them back.

I have very average feet. 9.5, average width, and average arches. These shoes fit me extremely well right out of the box. I've been using them for two weeks now. No runs over 5 miles yet. But a lot of cross training with jump rope, suicide sprints, Boulder carries, etc. These shoes are sick looking and the BOA system is fantastically convenient. I'm a fan.

The upper is stiff and uncomfortable. The EverRun Midsole is great. The outsole is meh. Overall I do not like this shoe. There are many other shoes in this range. Would not recommend.

This shoe would be great for someone with a narrow foot. Otherwise it is too narrow for normal feet.

Good fit and provides comfort walking on any surface or condition.

The 11 fits but is the slightest bit long. 11 works. I am a normal 10.5 but the 10.5 is narrow but the length was perfect.

I wear a size 13 and these shoes were too big, especially the heel width. Arch support was disappointing. The BOA lacing mechanism was excellent, easy to use and the laces felt better than any traditional lacesI normally use. Unfortunately I will have to return because of heel cup just too wide.
