OMG!! The yellow size 7 boots went thru hell during several treks for rhinoceros, chimpanzee and gorillas in Uganda in 70+F degree weather.. Hiked thru swamps, streams, puddles, vines, branches, mountains, thick bushes/vegetation, and logs. The bottoms accumulated mud, yucky animal poop, and debris but after washing, looked new again. No scuffs or markings! Traction was fine and the boots protected me from biting ants and pesky mosquitoes around the ankles. So much more comfortable than hiking boots. Also, able to insert my Orthotic insoles very easily and my wide flat feet felt great. Interestingly, my feet did not sweat at all even while wearing wool socks on one of the treks.! Amazing! Can't wait for a huge thunderstorm and going to test them further while mowing the lawn and shoveling snow in the winter while looking cool in my yellow boots.

I decided to buy these since the traditional tall Hunters are too tall, and hit me in the back of the knee (I’m 4’10”), and I found the short Hunter styles to be a bit pricey for what they are. It wasn’t too important to me to need the option of fleece liners (which i can’t find for these) but i decided that didn’t matter since i already have winter boots. These things led me to choose the Original Play style. I normally wear a 6 but found the 6 too big, so tried a 5. They fit comfortably with socks, and while they’re a bit more snug than I’d prefer in a rain boot, i find them pretty comfortable. My favorite part is they fit well over my calves while wearing skinny jeans, and are the perfect height for someone with short legs. I find that i wear them a lot in wet/slushy weather while running errands, and kind of wish i had bought them sooner!

These boots are very comfortable. I really like the flat sole better than the typical rain boot heel—for aesthetic reasons only though. I also love the tab on the back of these boots; it makes pulling the boots on with one hand super easy (I rarely walk out of the house empty handed, and usually have a dog pulling me as well, so not having to set all my stuff down or let the dog run away is a bonus). The boot shaft hits me at about lower to mid calf, which I prefer over knee-height rain boots (for reference I am 5’5”). They do seem to run a bit large, so instead of my typical size 8 I got a 7 and they fit perfectly. I don’t wear super thick socks with them, though; if I did I would probably go with the 8.

I always hold my breath when purchasing a boot online because my calf is thick, but I’m so glad I made the decision to get these! They fit over my calf and are super cute! I am between 7-8 and went with a 7 and happy that I did!

Size and fit are LOVELY, and these are by FAR my favorite style of Hunter boots. I have and aesthetically love the original tall and mid rise styles but they just aren’t flattering on me, plus you still feel like you’re wearing galoshes. These fit like comfortable, supportive, regular shoes, they run true to size (meaning slightly smaller than regular Hunters) - They’re soft and cushy and the soles are almost like a thick platform wedge, very cute but also functional - and the striped tabs on the back aren’t just cute and sporty, but very useful when pulling your boots! Highly Recommend, 5/5, if your see a sale, grab them. I wish they had the yellow ones in my size but they’re gone!

Love these boots! This is my second pair of Hunter boots and I'm just as happy with this second purchase as I was with my first pair. These come up to my mid calf and are very comfortable. They are slightly bigger than a standard size 9 but that allows me to wear them with wool socks which makes them extra cozy and warm. They are pretty light weight and I really like the wedge heel which adds a bit more stability and comfort. Such a great price and the color is super cheerful on gloomy, rainy days :) Highly recommend!

These are perfect, easy on and off rain boots, fun color, and comfy. Not good support if you have to walk a lot but plenty of room to slip an orthotic inside if needed as they run a bit wide. I hope they last!

The boots are awesome! They are comfortable and I love how the soles are a little chunky and give you a little height. They aren’t too tall or too short either like some of the other Hunter boots. I wore them on a muddy/ wet nature trail yesterday and I was so happy to have them. They do run big so I sized down.

This is the first pair of rain boots I've ever owned and I love them! The fit it true to size (just follow what the Zappo's recommendations advise for the size to select) and they are very comfortable. I wanted to be able to go on long walks in the city in the rain, and these boots let me do exactly that. I wear them all day and they keep my feet warm and dry. I love the cute red, white and blue tab in the back - makes them playful. Oh and they're also easy to put on and take off, which was not the case with other rain boots that I tried on.

Love these boots! Much more comfortable than any other rain boots I’ve owned. Not stiff at all and they are a little shorter than the typical tall rain boot height which I like because it doesn’t hit me behind the knees (I’m 5’ 3”) Also some rain boots are a pain to take on and off but these are nice and easy! If you’re on the fence: buy them.

LOVE these boots! I have high arches, so I've always found boots without zippers almost impossible to get off. These I'm able to slip off easily, yet they don't feel large and bulky. Very comfortable.

If you’re a half size order down. I usually wear 7.5 and the 7 is perfect. So comfy and cute.

They are super cute, but they are not “tall”. They are a mid height. The typical hunter tall shafts are 15in these are only 11in. I like knee high boots and this color scheme does not come in 15in so I returned.

I'm normally a size 9 but I got a size 8 since a lot of the reviews said to purchase a size smaller. They fit perfectly and are super cute!

I have flat feet and bunions, I'm size 9 in shoes but those boots are like one size bigger. I don't have any complains since I read the reviews knowing about being bigger than the real size. I bought the boots my size to be comfortable while gardening. They are perfect, my bunions don't hurt, my flat feet are super comfortable with the shape of the heal. Hunter boots are high quality, I have other pairs from years ago with a think decent tall heel and they still in good shape. These boots are good for gardening.

I love these! I am about 5'1" and 135lbs, and I normally wear an 8.5. These were true to size, and I was able to wear them straight out of the box on a trip to New York where we walked EVERYWHERE all day with no problems. Did not rub blisters, great support, and looked super cute over my skinny jeans or black leggings. I wore them comfortably all day with no issues, and I love that I have them now to wear on rainy days to keep my pants from getting ruined! Great boots, totally worth the splurge.

I love these boots! I have the black refined boots & I like them but the black has turned powdery from it being true rubber. So I wanted a pair that was colorful in hopes that it won’t happen. I really like the color of these and I like that they don’t come up as high as the original boots I have. They are easier to get off. I wear 7 1/2 in Nike & adidas & I got a size 7 in these & they fit perfect with socks. I love them for outdoor sports in Ohio... protects my feet from all the rain during spring. They aren’t the warmest or most comfortable but I still wear them to protect my feet & pants.

This is comfortable and stylish. Surprisingly light as well. Very easy to get in and out, don't have problem with that suction feeling. I can wear them all day. My go to boot for rainy weather.

These are the best rain boots! They are just the right height to easily stuff your pants into them, and they don't chafe your skin if you're not wearing pants. The soles are slightly inflexible because of the platform, but it's not uncomfortable and they make up for it in cuteness. I love the look and feel of these boots!

I really truly love love love this Hunter boots! My very first pair and I can already see this being a lifelong relationship between this brand & my “feeties!” Modern twist on the soles - wedgewise, compared to the traditional soles Hunter boots are well known for. I love how it hits right around mid-calf with plenty of room.

This is my second pair because I love this particular style so much and the mini wedge heal is so cute. I'm a 7.5 and the 7 is a good fit with a nice thick pair of socks.

I really think I was skeptical because of the comments about the foot and calf width of the boot. I’m glad I bought them. Easy to get on and off and the calf width is not a problem...I am a plus size woman, so calf widths are sometimes a problem for me. Depending on your height is where the boot shaft height will hit you on your calf. I’m 5’9 the boots hit me about mid calf. Only issue I have is the original price point of Hunter boots are a bit steep....I’ll always be buying them on a discount.

I usually wear a size 7 in all shoes but in the original Hunter boots the 7 is too big so I always order a size 6… I ordered these in a size 6 and they were too big so I had to return them and get a size 5! They fit perfectly and are so cute! Love love love them!

True to size. Ordered my size 7 and 7 fits great. However if you plan wearing with thick socks I suggest ordering one size up. My foot is narrow so with a regular sock it’s ok but with a thicker sock the top of my foot and sides were uncomfortable. These boots are narrower than regular hunter boots so I do not suggest for wide feet. Also I’m 5’1 and they look way better than tall hunter boots, sleeker, and add a small height boost!

I wear a 7. The 7 fit with room, but not too much. I don't really get the high price tag on the Hunter Boots...maybe because of importing. I wanted to love them, was excited when they arrived, but just "meh". They do have some comfort built in.
