I was excited to try my go-to Vans Authentic with a cushier sole, but was disappointed to find that the style was updated to be narrower and pointier through the toe. Unfortunately, while these were cushier, the update to the toebox made them too narrow and would have caused some intense blisters. Also, they just looked kind of odd with the pointier toe. I wish they would have kept the original style and just updated the insole and sole. Oh well- these are going back!

For those with wide feet, please be aware these shoes run a tad narrower than most but can generally be alleviated by buying a size or half a size larger. If that doesn't help, what's helped me is buying the slip on shoes, they tend to be a bit stretchier and the width problem is no longer an issue.

The sole has more support than regular Vans, I'll give them that. But, this new style is very narrow across the foot, and the toe is pointy. Doesn't work for me; they're going back.

The shoes are very comfortable! I use them for work everyday and the comfycush makes a big difference! I walk about 8 miles a day at my retail job and doesn’t feel like it in the end of the day.

These shoes look so cute on my 13 year old daughter. They are made very well and I didn’t realize that the top yellow portion of the shoe is made of leather and looks really nice and doesn’t pick up dirt like the canvas material does. She loves them!

For me vans run about a half size bigger so I order down. Love these shoes - so great

I wear a women’s size 11 wide… when I saw that they were equivalent to a mans medium, I decided to try them because men’s medium are usually the same as women’s wide. They fit, I’m happy. They’re made well and comfortable

I love these shoes, this is probably my fourth pair over the past five years. My only complaint is that they have no arch support.

Super cute and stylish! Cushy when you walk, almost a springy. Very comfortable!

I’ve worn vans since the mid 70’s, have about 10 pair now that I rotate, mostly black leather. The newest comfy sole are the most comfortable now, and Black Leather. The sole appears to be thicker at first glance, very comfortable shoes, Peace !

These are cute and comfortable. This style has a little more substantial arch support than most Vans which is great for my high arches. I am between a 7.5 and an 8 in Vans, but with another thin insole the 8 is perfect and still affords room for my toes and somewhat wide foot. Can't go wrong with the great colors of Vans, just makes Summer feel even more festive.

I really like the shoe but way too narrow.

Fit was perfect. I love the comfycush.
