Quality material as you would expect and they are comfortable when the Velcro strap is secured although it is CONSTANTLY coming undone. I wore them out for about an hour and I had to re-secure the strap probably three times. Additionally, and a lesser issue although a little annoying is the strap wont wrap fully around the top of the shoe.

The Velcro keeps coming undone - twice in the middle of an intersection! It's a shame because these are incredibly comfortable and stylish.

I don’t know why the previous review said that the tops were irritating. These are super comfortable and the tops are adjustable to prevent irritation. I wear birks all year round and these are a great addition to my collection.

This sandal is not comfortable. The rubber upper is so stiff and thick that I don't think it will ever be comfortable. It hurts the top of my foot with every step as it digs in to my foot. Back it goes.

Birkenstock should be ashamed. As others say, the velcro strap constantly comes apart and you step right out of the sandal. It is very embarrassing walking and your next step is your sandal behind you and your bare foot in front. Happens constantly, check other reviews they all have the same problem, clearly needs to be fixed. DO NOT BUY THESE unless you want to look stupid losing your sandal repeatedly.

The velcro on these sandals does not work very well. I've tried to adjust how tight I make them to find a better hold, but I still find myself constantly bending over and pushing the velcro together. I'd ask for a refund if they weren't so hard to find. I'll probably end up permanently gluing them together or sewing them. Awesome sandal, horrible velcro.

Got these for my husband for Father's Day. He absolutely LOVES them! He said they are very comfortable and stylish. :)

The fit on these were great and very comfortable, I did feel a little itch on the Velcro not much to complain about bur overall these are great so far!

I purchased these for a trip. I think the look is very unique for a Birk. They were just as comfortable as any other birk i have owned. Love the unique look. I didn’t have any issue with the Velcro.

The sandals felt larger.

Very cool looking slides. Wanted to love them but it all ends at appearance. They are stiff beyond the normal new pair of birks. The strap doesn’t fully cover my husband’s foot causing the Velcro to come undone. Back to traditional birks. I hope they improve the strap bc they really are nice looking.

I really wanted to like these. They look good and are very comfortable. Unfortunately like some of the other reviewers mine kept coming unstrapped. I'd walk right out of them which is sub-optimal in many situations.

Velcro straps would not hold. The strap on the left sandal came apart and I fell down on stairs as a result. When wearing on sand later that day, the other sandal strap came loose and I lost my balance. This pair of sandals is now floating somewhere in the ocean in the bahamas near the Baha Mar Hotel. Purchased a cheaper set of sandals at the hotel shop so I could enjoy my trip.
