They are just as pictured. As comfortable as any Birk if not more. My husband hates them but they quickly became my go-to shoe now that sandal weather is here! Definitely not for everyone (aesthetically) but if you like them in the pictures you will love them on your feet.

Wow, this shoe has been so popular that I've had to request to be notified 5 times that it's back in stock. By the time I'd get the e-mail, it was already out of stock again. Once, I even got it into my cart and it was sold to someone else by the time I tried to check out. It's a cute shoe, if you like chunky shoes. I couldn't shake the feeling I was mopping the floor with my feet. I prefer the Arizona soft footbed in the regular width, so the this hard footbed in a narrow width felt tight and also much shorter than my Arizonas in the same size. My toes were hitting the front edge, and in the Arizona, my toes have a 1/4 inch between the front edge, like they should. The slits in the bottom of the platform give this shoe some flex, which the solid base Birk platforms don't have. The base flares out, so it's much wider than the footbed of the shoe. The shoes didn't feel comfortable on my feet, and Birks really do need to feel comfy, so I'm sending them back. I'm just glad I finally got a chance to try them on.

This is so fashion forward and fun. I’ve owned these a week and sold them off my feet at least five times already. The platform is extra comfy if Birkenstock’s can get any more comfortable ! This is going to be my summer go to sandal as it’s dress up or down ready.

My daughter has flat feet and every summer she gets Birkenstock’s, we saw this new one and couldn’t wait to try it. She kept complaining of foot pain and showing me how red her feet were. I tried them on and they are very uncomfortable. Next time we will stick to regular Birkenstock’s

I own a lot of Birkenstocks. Wearing them has helped my feet heal from plantar fascitiis while still looking fashionable. These are by far the most comfortable and fun Birkenstocks I own. I wore them practically every day all summer long. Birkenstock footbeds are a dream for me. Add a sneaker bottom and they are perfection! They are really unique and I have gotten many compliments. Hope Birkenstock brings these back next summer in other colors. I got the pink and it is beautiful.

I can see what one reviewer is saying about the slight cartoonish quality of these shoes, but really, they are so cute. If the style appeals to you at all in the pictures, they might be a good bet. They are chunky, but they are a cute and comfortable version of the chunky look that is in right now. I found I needed to size down because the footbed is so perfectly formed to my feet, it was very obvious these were just a tad too big. The pink is as bubble gum pink as it looks, but worth noting, it makes a tan look great. The fact that it says ‘narrow’ was not an issue for me and I would say I have pretty wide feet. The flexible sole is so much more comfortable for me than the hard soles of most Birks. These are supportive and comfortable and really, really cute for summer. Really cute.

Honestly, I never write reviews; however, with these beauties I felt like I had too! I love all Birkenstock’s, but these are hands down my favorite. The chunky platform is so on trend, they are extremely comfortable and so cute! My husband got them in black for me and am so happy!

Even though I love many Birk sandals these are extremely ‘chunky’ looking - extremely big and block-like and not at all attractive to the foot. I did love the pink color but I couldn’t picture ever wanting to wear these! Almost cartoonish.

Love these. Such a different look that adds a bit to the typical Arizona. On my second season and still looking great.

These are adorable and very in step with slide and chunky sole tied into one sandal. No break in required! Goes with everything dressed up or down; skinnies to skirts! Luv

I really loved everything about this shoe (comfort, style, fit) accept for how they looked on my feet. I wear a 9.5N & they were just too much shoe. Sadly had to return.

I love how these look on my feet. Yes, they make my feet appear longer but that is not an issue with me. Once you find your true size in Birkenstock, they will last for years. I like that Birkenstock is making newer color combinations. For reference, I wear a 9.5 M in Vince and Frye, a 10 M in Johnston and Murphy, and I always get a perfect 40 N fit in Birks. I have the Black because it goes with everything in my casual wardrobe.

I love Birkenstock’s but I hate the way my legs look in them. These are fun, a little different. They run a little big, I probably needed a 38

This is a very cute & comfy sandal. It took me a bit to adjust to the feel, but once adjusted all is good.

My favorite Arizona sandals to date—comfortable, modern, and a better choice in the wet grass.

So cute, but they are narrow width as it stated. I was just hoping b/c of the straps they might work. They did not b/c the footbed is narrow and my foot was too wide for that part. If you have narrow feet they are so cute & comfy. The rest of the show felt true to size. I normally wear a 9/9.5 & the 40 fit well aside from the width.

I have a connective tissue disorder, so nothing at all is going to feel very good on my feet. That being said, these are wearable at times for me. The other Birks I currently wear are also an Arizona platform since then platform means less motion in my feet. My complaints with those - which also applies to these - is that the straps are stiff and easily irritate my skin or rub blisters and that the footbed is not shaped like my foot. My toes don't taper, they are more square. That means I need to get the size that's a little bigger and have loads of odd-looking extra room in front of my big toes. And hope I don't trip over that. And appear to have jumbo-looking feet vs just large. So it's less "true to size or not" vs "shape". I am not a fan of the pink color, but there wasn't another option, at least it is a light tone for summer. The advantage I found in these vs the other platforms is that the other ones are totally rigid and these will give/bend slightly. It's not enough to make a lot of extra motion in my foot joints, but it's enough to help the strap not rub quite as much. And that also means a smidge more shock absorption for my ankles/knees. (cause if impact it isn't going to your feet, it just travels up from there) Wish the footbed were softer and had more arch support for my super high arches and that the straps were softer, especially when feet swell or sweat. I do think Birks can look decent with some clothing, and I am SO grateful for that white sole. These would be super Herman munster with all dark soles. My other platforms are nowhere near worn out, so I wish these had been available first since now I have more than I can wear, but I was sick of trying to strategically place bits of moleskin to lessen friction from the straps, so to me these are the better option of their platforms.

These are very cute and very comfortable. The width was great for my narrowish medium foot, but the toe was about a 1/4" too short for my monkey toes. Usually the Arizona style works for me, but not this time. :(
