This is a great looking shoe and it seems quite comfortable EXCEPT for the fact that it's quite narrow in the midsection. The toe box is actually decently roomy - but right in the arch section the shoe is quite narrow. I don't usually need a wide size but I'm borderline wide and shoes that run narrow are hard for me. I'm hoping this one stretches out a bit or my foot gets used to it. Otherwise it won't work for me. Otherwise feels great and looks really nice.

Teenage son picked these and he likes them. He thinks they look great on. The only reason he picked a 4 instead of a 5 for this review on comfort and overall is because they rub a place on the back of his foot unless he remembers and ensures he wears higher socks. But note the 5 star in style. Hope you find this review helpful in your shopping!

Size 11 (my usual size) Merrell shoes have fit me perfectly in the past but these were at least a half size too small (even without socks). They were the usual Merrell quality, however.

I can't say enough great things about this shoe! I wear them every night as we walk our dog two miles on cement, and these are holding up well. The vibram soles show virtually no wear and my feet our never sore. I've worn these for entire days on hard surfaces such as walking around theme parks with no issues. They have a very comfortable and somewhat stretchy upper, especially around ankle.

It's tough to find a shoe that is made sustainably by any measure, and this one is durable in addition. It fits about a half size large and the laces are about a a foot longer than they need to be but other than that they are great.

Super comfortable. I wear them to work every day where I'm walking 4+ miles. I usually add my own insole to Merrell shoes but don't need to with the gridway. Best shoe I've purchased. More color options please. I'd love a second pair.

I love Merrell shoes, own several hiking boots and shoes. I was looking for something casual but wanted a Merrell shoe. These are perfect! They look great with everything and still made like a Merrell.

I was on the fence with this product, but I am so glad I went ahead and ordered them.
I am now ready to get the Gridway Canvas and Hightops.
BTW I'll let you know how my Downtown Mocs work out once they get here.

Stylish shoe for light hiking and around town wear. Sizing was true, medium width fine. Vibram sole is solid without bulk or weight. Laces long enough to double knot when needed. Confidant this shoe will be just the right thing for walkabout on the Amalfi Coast.

I was looking for shoes for drumming and these are really light, flexible, good feel for the pedals, comfortable and have just the right grip-to-slide relationship for being where I want to be on the pedals. Not bad that they look so cool, either!

My husband loves there shoes and they way they feel on his feet. They are lightweight yet hug his feet so he feels like he has good support. He is rather particular about the fit so we are thrilled to be able to count on Merrill's for him

The upper material is so forgiving, it feels a at least a 1/2 size, but not quite a full size too big from what Zappo's fit guide suggested.
