The 2021 model women's Ferrosi shorts are perfect, with the best part being the excellently practical deep front pockets that drop in, that easily and securely fit a large modern iPhone on one side and a wallet (plus keys!) in the other, plus an additional zip front pocket (perfect for lip balm and other small things) and good back pockets. Other aspects are great: stretch, dry fast, resist water, and has belt loops in practical places (not a given on Women's shorts). The 2022 model unfortunately is significantly inferior: the 2022 pockets are shallow and don't fit a modern iPhone plus whatever fits isn't securely held. Also there's no additional front small zippered pocket. The excellent deep front pockets are impossibly difficult to find on women's shorts, and were my reason for buying the shorts. Since 2021, I have grown a size larger, but unfortunately the 2022 model doesn't have what I require (functional pockets!!!). Please bring back the functional pockets in the Ferrosi shorts design!!!! I'm rating this highly, because what I'm rating is the 2021 design. I don't like the 2022 design at all (in fact I ordered then returned the 2022 version).

These shorts are very comfortable. They're really stretchy and breathable. I wish the back pockets were bigger so I could fit a phone in them (I can get a phone in, but the third or so sticks out.) I like the zippered pocket - big enough to hold a wallet but not a phone. I'm 5' 3" and 124 lbs, and size 4 fits me.

I was worried at first about the shorts being tight around my thighs, but the fabric has so much stretch! The fabric appears tight on the body, but doesn't reduce any stretching movements for hiking or climbing.

These shorts are light weight and have just a little stretch. They are super comfortable. I have them in 2 colors.

These fit perfect! I'm a slender build, pockets in the right spot and things just fit well all day

Finally found a line of clothing that fit comfortably and I buy online knowing that the quality is exceptional too. Highly recommend. Also great for cycling with a pair of padded cycling undershorts underneath.

These are my favorite shorts! I have them in three colors and use them for hiking and mountain biking. I love the length, the stretch and the zippered pocket. They are a slim fit, but still work for strong, athletic thighs. I'm 5'3" and 130 lbs and the size 4 fit well.

Bought these hiking shorts last summer. Fit is good. I've lost weight so likely will buy the next size smaller for summer 2022. Very lightweight and comfortable. I like the shorter length (5" inseam) as I'm petite. Lots of pockets; two on backside, deep side pockets plus a zippered pocket on right leg. Washes great and has kept shape through multiple washings. Closes with zipper and top button, also has belt loops. I bought size 10. I'm 5'2" 138 lbs.

Wave blue is much brighter in person. I love these shorts- the fit, functionality, and fabric... AWESOME.

I now have two sets of these short. Love them.. They fit, the length is good.. I will probably end up with one more set in the near future..

I have these in two colors and love them so much. Breathable, light weight and stretchy. I've got thicker thighs and a smaller waist so the drawstring helps me get the perfect fit if I forget a belt.

I live in these Ferrosi Shorts now. I have two pairs, and will probably get more. Just like the pants, they fit me really well and they wear really well too. Highly recommend these shorts!

I love basically everything about these shorts - I love the texture, the style, the pocket placements, and they are flattering. I want to wear them all the time. I'm 5'9" and 160 lbs and right in between an 8 and 10. I opted for the 10 because I didn't want them to fit tight. The material definitely does stretch though.

Amazing all around shorts. I really liked the 7 inch inseam as opposed to the 5 in. The shorts are comfortable on the trail with great breathability and perfect amount of flex. The fabric is soft against the skin, comfy as sweatpants and keeps its shape like a good hiking short. They are also quick drying for those times you misjudge the depth of the river while trying to rescue your sons "favorite rock".

Have these shorts in all colors I could get! Love this length the best. We far well and wash well!

I love these shorts! They are comfortable, functional and fashionable. I bought them in multiple colors. I have strong thighs and they are a little snug in comparison to the waist size, but stretch out during use because of the fabric. The teaberry color is very bright, not at all what I expected from the website image. It's more of a hot pink/orange than a dark red. I also got the pewter.

I purchased two pair of these shorts and basically lived in them this summer. The length is perfect for covering my thighs, and the fit and feel is very comfortable, especially during our long, hot Tennessee days. They fit true to size. I highly recommend and plan to purchase other colors.

Just got back from a 7 day hike in the Alps in Switzerland, then 10 days of chill in Italy. These were the only shorts I took, and they were fabulous. For hiking they are just great. The fit is perfect, the length just right. I like the deep pockets to actually carry stuff, and the waistband was compatible with my pack waist belt. But they also look good and not just like hiker trash shorts. I could keep them on to wear into towns or villages or just wear them to walk around and tour the small towns in Italy. I only washed them once, and they didn't get stinky. I have muscular thighs and butt, and they just fit great.

I bought these to hike in and I end up wearing them much more frequently. Comfy, cute, fit well.

Yep, you heard me correctly...I'm am in love with these shorts! Quick drying fabric, super comfortable fit (true to size), and beautiful vibrant color. For reference, I'm 5'6" 125# 32A athletic boy-is frame.

Super comfortable fit with wicking, breathable fabric ! Even better if you bring back the two snap closure and larger zippered pocket. Overall, still my favorite hiking shorts.
