Use these almost everyday to deliver programs outside in forests! When we hit +30 degrees, the long pants weren't an issue at all. Thin enough to breathe in and so far they've withstood kneeling in sand and dirt for extended period of time. The waistband is a nice fit, not too loose but doesn't dig in anywhere. Might be the only pair of non-high waisted pants I've bought in a long time! Haven't really tested them out in significant rain, just a light drizzle that they kept me dry in! Appreciate the short option for my 5 foot 2 frame!

These pants are flexible, lightweight and fit me really well! I've been wearing them nonstop. I think they run a bit big and do stretch out a little so order a size down from your normal size. I have big muscular thighs and these fit awesome The drawstring waist helps too. Totally recommend them. Just an FYI, they are thin material, not at all warm or substantial.

I just spend 26 days in Death Valley National Park leading a backpacking course for teenagers. I brought one pair of pants with me and it was the Ferris Pant in gray. What a well thought out and well constructed pant. I lead a lot of backpacking trips and struggle with finding a comfortable, durable, and good fitting pant. No more searching! This is it. Features I appreciated: -The microfiber lining at the waistband for seamless comfort under a backpack hip belt. -The side leg pocket that was big enough for my phone. -The length of the inseam was spot on for someone who is 5'8" -The lightweight nature of the fabric was very breathable even in 100 deg heat. The only signs of wear on the pant was a back pocket seam that wore out and slight pilling. Other than that, the pants stood up to the constant onslaught of spiky plants, spilled food and dust. Please make this pant in more colors! I would love to see a chocolate brown or olive green.

I love these pants. They are Outdoorgearlab's top pick for women's pants, and I see why. The lightweight, breathable, stretch fabric is leaps and bounds above the competition. It's all about comfort when you go for these. They won't disappoint. I hope they last for years.

I have a Ferrosi jacket that I absolutely love and have packed everywhere with me so I thought I would try the pants. They do not disappoint. The only change I would make is a little less flare at the ankle. I love that they come in short sizes.

Bought these on sale and then took them on a week and a half long trip out to northern Arizona in early March. These were my go-to adventuring pants. I am 5'4", 107lbs, usually a size 24P and found the 0 short to be very flattering (usually wear skinny jeans) but with enough stretch and give to easily fit over a pair of mid weight base layer pants for the cold desert nights. They are very light and breezy but held up well to some light canyoneering and some encounters with some rough Kaibab limestone. I never got them wet so can't speak to that but they feel similar to other quick-drying garments I own.

Firstly, I love these pants, I already have a pair and just bought a second. I sized down since my old pair are a bit big on me now and was frustrated that the hips still felt just as large (I'm sure they're smaller, but they were still baggy), but the thighs were verging on too tight. This is a problem I have just about at every outdoor clothing brand so PSA to OR: Outdoorsy/athletic women have thick thighs too!! The other small downside is they changed the drawstring, it used to be a nice stretchy material that was easy to pull through, but now it's static and the material kind of clings when pulling it through, but it's not the end of the world.

This is my second pair of Ferrosi pants and I can't say enough good things about them. I've section-hiked the PCT in them and several other long distance hikes and they are still going strong. They hold up to abrasive wear and look good enough to wear around town. I love that they bend and stretch as I do. Super comfortable and long-lasting.

I've hiked in these pants several times this summer. They are very comfortable and have a lightweight feel (but the fabric is tough enough for overgrown trails and scrambling). In addition to gathering at the ankle (if you wish), the material easily stays rolled up if you want to wear the pants capri length. I am 5'2" / 102 and the 0 fits well (the drawstring at the waist is useful because I don't need a belt).

These are my new favorite hiking pants. They're lightweight so they're not a nuisance when it's hot. Yeah, they also give enough protection on a breezy chilly day.

Very comfortable and great fit. I originally ordered sz 6, but returned for 4. They are also nice enough for a more dressed up look.

Love these lightweight pants! They are perfect for backpacking or hiking, breathable and comfortable on hot days. I clambered over rocks and sticks and they stood up to wear and tear. The BEST part is they come in short! So many outdoor companies don't do so and hemming just adds an extra expense. I'm 5'2", 120 ish and the 4 fit perfectly. The only thing I don't love is the button inner belt combo. Snaps are easier for a quick pop-a-squat and the inner belt irritates more than helps (it causes the button to stick out). But i love these pants overall and might even buy another pair in a different color. They live up to the hype!

I bought a size larger so that I can put thermals underneath. Fits great and very comfortable. I bought another one but my regular size. It also fits very nicely as a trim fit.

Bought these pants for summer hiking in the high country. Rarely do pants fit me right out of the box (I'm short) but these are perfect and comfy! I haven't hiked with them yet as I've been too busy skiing, but I'm sure they'll be great.

Already wore them many times under my drysuit whitewater kayaking. They are very very comfortable, warm enough, not bulky. I cannot wait to go hiking in these. Wish you had more colour choices in short sizes. Ordered size 8, should have ordered size 6, but still comfy if a bit loose, more are coming in size 6. Fit according to size. I cannot comment on durability as I only have them for a month or so but I feel they will last.

I always have a really hard time finding pants that fit right - I have a long torso and relatively short legs. These pants fit me perfectly and are just the right length. They're also very comfortable. I can't wait to try these out on the trail.

I will sing praises of any pants that have a wide variety of length options, but functionally, these pants are rad too. I'm 5'5", 130 lbs, with shorter legs, and what we'll call a 'curvy athletic' shape. I got size 4, short, and they fit like a dream, move well, breathe well. So far I've worn them for bushwacky hikes and cross country skiing, but I can see these as great spring skiings pant for those warmer, dry days later in the season. They're incredibly comfortable regardless of activity, have light waterproof protection (but would definitley add a separate waterproof layer for consistent rain/snow conditions), durable, and are flattering enough that I actually like wearing them around. Can't say I've ever had these feelings about a hiking pant before...

These pants are perfect for both hiking/backpacking and those casual days around town. I tried the Voodoo pants and had to return them. I prefer these hands down. I'm 5' 2" and the length is perfect for me. Thanks for making short sizes!
