The Apollo Jacket was the perfect compromise for needing a rainproof layer for both city and alpine European travel. It's sleek fit, downplayed logo and solid black, simple design made it perfect for dressing up with a scarf yet it handled the rainy weather in the Alps. It's very lightweight, packs small, breathable enough for moderate activity and will keep you dry in moderate rain. It didn't hold up in a torrential down pour and the fabric isn't going to withstand the test of time but it's perfect for travel, urban environments or ultralight backpacking.

I bought this jacket for a hiking trip in Scotland in a month. I've worn it once just walking around town and got caught in a massive downpour. The water beaded up well. I was in heavy rain for about 45 minutes. I stayed cool and dry, the jacket did not soak through. I'm looking forward to trying it in the Highlands.

Love it! The pit zips and cinched wrists/hood are great features. It packs up super small, doesn't make a lot of noise, and the color (blue) is beautiful! I have only worn it in small drizzles yet, but it worked great! A bit warm in summer, but the water rolled right off the fabric.

This is a cool and comfortable jacket. It kept me dry in driving rain and shed dirt and sand easily. Unlike many rain jackets, it is quiet, too. The cut is roomy and, for me, could be a bit narrower.

It's been a wet spring/summer in Montana and my wife has loved her Apollo rain jacket. It fits well, and keeps her dry. Great for staying dry while running errands or taking the kids to the park. She loved it so much, I got one for my mother-in-law.

Wrong size, OR refunded me and new size fit fine. Could have been worse.

I live in Florida and our rainy season is June 1st to November 1st. We get rainy almost daily for a few hours. I love keeping this in my backpack. Super lightweight and just really love the look of it. I get sooo many compliments and ppl ask me where I got it all the time. 100% satisfied with my purchase.

I love the weight of this, especially living in a humid place that still gets some rain. Also east to transport because it's not too heavy,

Living in Seattle guarantees you need a rain jacket. This is perfect in that I can layer a bunch and then toss this on top and be comfy, warm, and dry! This is a shell and has no insulation or anything like that. Since I own warm layers already, I didn't need to splurge on a thick rain coat. I could just buy a simple jacket and this fit the bill perfectly.

I love this jacket. It is fitted but the movement isn't compromised at all. Arms and body are long enough (I'm 5'11"). High quality workmanship and attention to detail, as I have come to expect from Outdoor Research. The sunset color is BRIGHT, which is great for visibility in town - a little brighter than I would have wanted for backcountry, but it's a good color so I'm going to keep it. It'll make for nice photos.

I really like it's simplicity combined with perfect features -- hood, pit zips, decent sized pockets and wrist closures. Very comfortable and versatile.

LOVE! One of the best shells I've owned. Ordered a size up and glad I did because it provides just enough space for several thicker layers underneath. The hood isn't so large and fits well, and it's definitely waterproof! Highly recommend.

Great rain jacket. Protects from the weather, easy to pack.

Just tested this jacket in a complete downpour for about 10-15 mins and am very happy with my purchase! I walked around, sat down, tried to wipe the beaded droplets into the fabric and remained bone dry. This performed just as well as the goretex paclite pants I have and I now feel prepared for anything! I can't speak to longevity, but so far it does exactly what it's supposed to and is also very easily packable.

This is a great rainjacket for the price. The sleeves are a little long, but the ends of the sleeves can be easily kept in place, so it isn't an issue.

I like the basic design of a waterproof shell with pit-zips. The pockets are large enough to hold a phone and keep your hands inside as well. It fits well over a basic fleece. I own two of them in different colors. I normally wear a M in all OR items and this fits true to size for me.

Very nice jacket, works well for me. I like the bright color too.

I really like the under arm zip vents, even when it is raining I can leave them open. The pockets are big enough, the length is long enough the color is bright enough. I like everything about it.
