I loved the look of this shoe, and once I got it on it felt okay. The main problem I find in some shoes of this build is the shoe being tight on the top across the instep of your foot. The tongue is all one piece of material that surrounds the foot, and it does not flex like some shoes do. Therefore, if you have a remotely high instep, this shoe most likely is not for you. I struggled to even get them on due to the tongue issue but also the fact that the heel loop is too small to put your index finger into to assist you in putting on the shoes. Overall, I think this has some design flaws and I can't recommend it.

I'm a big fan of the old school trainers so the styling of these looks kind of weird. And there's no tongue! After wearing them for a few days walking the dogs, running errands, and hitting the gym, I will say they are comfortable, supportive, and light weight. They still look weird to me but they are doing the job. Very happy.
