Best cycling shoe ever! I tried on several and they all felt tight, width wise. They feel like they are hugging my feet. They have excellent padding where most cycling shoes you can feel the metal support. I love these and expect to get many miles out of them as they are made really well and they are actually very stylish too which is a plus!

I wear a size 8 medium and some narrows. I have a moderate arch and need a neutral to under pronated foot bed. I have several Pearl Izumi articles of clothing and always buy a large top. Given that, I went for the 8.5 (40) size. The straps allow for a good fit and there is plenty of toe box room. I wear medium weight socks. They are comfortable to stand and walk in without feeling "too big". I'm so pleasantly surprised that these work for me. I plan to leave cleats off and use them for my "regular" pedals on my second bike. I have been down the cycling trail in my trail running tennies and it wasn't pretty. In my opinion, it is worth your foot health to always wear a fiberglass and or nylon reinforced shoe when cycling.

This is a good looking shoe, but it runs quite small - both in length and width. Sadly, I have to return them.

I have a slightly wide foot and these shoes were perfect right out of the box.

I'm a true size 7 1/2 and the 39 fit great. The first time I tried them on, they felt sort of stiff, especially the tongue. But after walking around in them for an hour and then a bike ride, they broke in great. So if they feel a bit stiff at first, they'll likely break in. This is the second pair of Pearl Izumi cycling shoes in size 39 I've had. They are pretty spot on in size, so if you're close to a size 8, you might want to size up.

These are great supportive shoes if you mountain bike or are new to studio cycling. Your cleats are protected so you can walk and there is a bit of slip resistance. These shoes did not work for me because the width was a bit too narrow and so they were uncomfortable when I was out of the saddle.

After trying way too many cycling shoes (most too small, 1 pair too big) these fit perfectly. I have a small, wide-ish foot and there is room to move my toes which is important. My feet don’t get too hot as they would if my toes were squished. For reference, I wear a 6.5 in running shoes and I am a 37 in these.

Great for biking. Not so much for walking.

I have never bought this shoe on European sizing before and ordered a 41 according to the size charts from Pearl Izumi. I had to size up to a 42 and I wear a 9.5 US. A little wide in the heel but I have a narrow heel and wider toe. Toe box could be wider but they are well made.

I typically wear an 8-8.5 and almost always 8.5 in a running shoe. I bought the 40 (Women's 8), nice width but there was no wiggle room at the top. Unfortunately the 1/2 size up was not available.

I ordered an 8 but received an 8.5 so I really don't know how they feel or fit.
