Way narrower than the "W" it is labeled as. Old shoe E2(W) width is 5" across similar style shoe. New shoe "Clarks Un Abode Ease" is 4.5" across.

The heels were too soft and spongy, causing balance instability. A great shoe maker cannot make a firm heel. I have had this problem several years ago, and apparently they still make their shoes with very soft heels. They feel like cheap slippers, unfortunatly for me.

I am a licensed city tour guide in Savannah Ga. I operate Savannah Ghostwalker Tours and I lead two tours each night that last 2 hours each. I walk about 3500 steps each tour on all types of surfaces. Comfortable shoes are a must have. These shoes are very comfortable and light weight. The size and width are true. I have tried all the major brand walking shoes and have always come back to Clark’s for style and comfort. I highly recommend these shoes for walking and standing. The factory supplied insoles are very nice and you should get at least 6 months out of them before having to replace them. The shoes should give you at least a year of good service. The only downside is the sole of the shoe wears down in about a year but the rest of the shoe continues to be in good condition. I’m trying to find someone who can resolve these shoes.

A good fittingshoe.It also looks very good.Leatheruppers and lining.If you prefer thick socks, you might want a half size larger.Mine had a squeak for about 4 days before finally going away.All in all a nice shoe.I've worn Clark shoes before and found them good quality.

Bought this for my husband who works retail, on tile floors. This is a decent shoe for work, it's comfortable and offers great support.

Shoe was a good fit at 15W. After returning 3 other brands over the previous two weeks this pair was heaven as soon as I put them on. Soft, with a Nice inner cushion plus the removable insole allows my orthotic to readily fit. Shoes are very comfortable. Another positive factor is the lightness of these Clarks. My pair are black and are suitable for the office or for most other wear. They felt so good that I went back to Zappos website to purchase a brown pair. Sold out! As was black.! If your foot is large and on the wide side I think the Un Abode Ease is a great solution,

I used my custom footbeds with this shoe. Comparing to other shoes using the same footbeds, these shoes are more comfortable and lighter than my other shoes. I walk around 10 miles on a busy day, and climb stairs consistently. I am thrilled with the comparative comfort of these shoes. They look a bit dowdy, but I am happy to sacrifice style for comfort.

I like the shoes, good comfort, the tongue on the left shoe is imperfect, it’s not centered. I was denied a complete refund because part of my payment was a statement credit, so I guess I’ll keep them, their wasn’t another size 13 available.
