It's great for hiking in chilly weather -- compressible and lightweight so I don't get overheated while moving, but insulated enough so I don't get chilled.

This jacket is optimal for those in-between weather days. When the sun is out, but the breeze is cool. I love that this jacket keeps me warm, while also allowing my torso to breath so I don't overheat. Also great for layering because it adds great insulation, but also allows you to remove your outer layers and cool off without removing this jacket and losing all your heat.

This jacket with hood performed awesomely in the often breezy, drizzly chilly evening weather just east of Lake Erie. It's very soft, compressible and easily fit in flight backpack. Zippered outside pockets and 2 inside pockets safely accommodate keys, wallet, & gloves. Also ideal worn aboard flights with varying ambient temperatures. A fine jacket.

I would highly recommend this jacket for anyone who is looking for a thin yet warm and light jacket to wear and carry around. I bike down in this and feel absolutely no cold in my torso region. It's a must for cold weather!

I love this jacket as a nice lite fall or spring jacket. I beleive that if I wear it in -20 weather it would not be warm enough, but it is fabulous for the rest of the weather,
