I have owned Silver Ridge 2.0 shirts now for over a year. They are my daily shirt for work which is mostly in the office but some trips to the field. I pair them with blue jeans and tennis shoes. The shirts are light and cool even in the summer. My only complaint is that the sizes are bigger than most other shirts even within the Columbia line. Smalls are more a medium, mediums a large, etc. Once I figured out what size I was within the line, I didn't have any problems. I saw some reviews which talked about the shirts being very wrinkly. I don't think that is a big deal. Just pull the shirt out of the dryer when it is still hot and hang it up. The fabric isn't very thick or firm. It is rather thin like silk.

Loved the fit and unlike some other people trying to thru hike in one shirt, this one had little to no wear on it by the end. I obviously got the bright white one, so it eventually changed to a different shade of white, but people would still comment on how fresh it looked after doing laundry.

I read several articles covering the Silver Ridge shirt.
All said they fit similar to the Bahama II shirts I purchase.
Wrong, small is very tight, will give it to my ladie friend and say it was just her size.
My next purchase was a medium, will arrive soon.

In the past year I've bought a half dozen of the Silver Ridge series shirts and must say I really like them. They're conservatively stylish and, just long as you stay away from the olive or khaki colors, you won't look like a park ranger or UPS worker! I'm a slim guy and most of Columbia's shirts fit like wedding tents and I have to sent them back. Silver Ridge shirts fit me normally: not fitted but not baggy. Perfect. Love the dark indigo hue of this shirt and wear it to work, shopping and hiking here in Hawaii. Cool, comfy and versatile.

Ordered this shirt to use on a camping trip/vacation and it worked great for day hikes, chopping wood, and standup paddle boarding on the lake. Dries Fast and looks good with jeans to go into town with.

If you're looking for a park ranger or safari look, this us it, especially in khaki or drab olive. But, yeah, after owning a number of Columbia shirts, this is the first one I've owned that almost fits normally versus fitting like a wedding tent. Nevertheless, I'm a slim dude and it is slightly loose but just right to allow good freedom of movement. It's cooler than a t-shirt in the tropics, washes easily in a hotel sink and dries pronto, ready for my next day of photographic adventures. Wouldn't mind a couple more in different colors.

This shirt checks off all the boxes for me. Smooth, lightweight fabric yet still sturdy. Great ventilation under arms and thru back/ side vents. Quick drying. Nice variety of colors. Looks nice for many events. It's my go-to shirt for all activities!

Personally I buy this type of shirt to use it on my job on South America because of its comfort on fairy weathers Tropical. I don't live in the US but my love for this shirt is that great that I order it online and pay an extra to ship to my country... LOVE IT

BE CAREFUL!! It will run at least 1 size small, possible 2. The shirt is one of the best Columbia has ever produced, but check out for the size before buying!

You Can Take Them Anywhere!
Our Columbia shirts are so well-traveled, they practically need their own passport. That is because they know how to take a 20-hour-airline jaunt to India and enter New Delhi looking good. They can squeeze into tight spaces in a bulging suitcase bound for Vietnam and not get themselves twisted into a wrinkled mess. They know how to cool you down when you're walking through the sticky, summertime streets of Paris and how to warm up and batten down their sleeves when you're enjoying a folk music festival in the Colorado mountains. They don't complain if you rinse them out in a London hotel sink and drape them over a shower head to dry overnight. In short, they are the perfect travelers. They are also very well behaved at home, happy to romp at a park, cuddle up under an elegant sweater and attend a meeting, or go out to dinner and a movie. Home or traveling, we're never without them.

I just ordered 2 more of these for my husband as was a lifeguard back in the day before sunscreen and has had numerous skin cancer lesions removed. He's been wearing these for years, over his tee shirts or alone all spring, summer and fall. They're cool, fit well (not boxy), and offer the sun protection his MD ordered. They are quick-dry, so he can swim and snorkel with one on or he can stop at a stream and wet it completely to cool off on a hike. They are comfortable to canoe and kayak in and he wears them on a dive boat before putting on a wet suit to scuba. He also likes all the pockets for passports and sunglasses when traveling. He always has 2 from the year before for mowing the lawn and doing garden work and two new ones for going out. There's one in the wash every day and they never seem to wear out.

Got a Medium. Have gotten fat. Needed large. Easypeasy return/exchange. I expect to form a warm and lasting relationship with this shirt while looking as cool as an old man can ever look cool. Comfortable too.
