My issue is heel bone spur(s) and the New Balance 680V6 is perfect for my needs. The sneaker holds the heel without causing irritation; provides adequate toe space, with the flexible material allowing for easy movement and is non-binding. However, I cannot attest to the arch support provided with the provided insert, as I use custom orthotic inserts. I am not a runner, although, I do walk on average four (4) miles per day and overall these sneakers provide good support and are comfortable.

NB 680v6 fits perfectly and provides the support I need. It is my go-to shoe to wear when I walk The Walk. I own 4 pairs in different colors alternating them each day. I walk 2-3 miles every other day riding a recumbent bike the other 2 days [I exercise 5 days/week and am 79-years young]!

I have been wearing New Balance running shoes for many years -- most recently the model 860. I ordered my usual size, 8-1/2 B, in the model 680. Loved the color and weight of this shoe, but they immediately felt too short and tight. Disappointed! Returning.

This is the first time I have ever had a pair of New Balance not be true to size. I compared with my current NB shoes which are the same size and width and the old shoes were a full 1/2 inch or more longer. Very odd.

I wear a 8.5W in most NB shoes. I had these in a 8.5W and they were to small, ordered the 9W the fit is much better in length and width but they really have "no support". If you are looking for a basic simple house shoe they are quite comfy almost slipper like. Power walking or running would not be advised. I tried standing on one foot at a time and there is really nothing to support the foot and ankle. These would be perfect if you are just sitting around in the house and want a shoe to keep your feet warm. The fabric is very soft and stretchy.

I usually wear a 10.5 but ordered these half size larger because I needed wide and because other reviews of them running small. The 11 was still a little on the small side, my toe would move up too much as I walked and the heel moved too much.

After less than a month of owning these shoes, they are literally falling apart on me. I take them off properly every time, and am not hard on shoes. I walk (not run) in them, that's all. I don't wear daily. We don't have a dog or anything that would have chewed the, The backs of both are ripped and in terrible shape. It's a mystery to me how this happened, other than poor quality. 0/10 would not buy again

This is my 8th pair of 680s because the style just fits my foot so well. I wear a 10-1/2 Wide, because while the balls of my feet are wide, the challenge is the heels of my feet are not. I “step out” of other brands’ wides or they are not wide enough. These NB shoes fit my feet and stay on, with no friction points or looseness. Plus the colors are often fun!

I really didn’t care for this shoe. It made my feet look wide and bulky. The color was also more purple looking than I expected from the picture.

I have the 680v6 in 5 colors because it fits my foot perfectly. The 10-1/2 wide fits my wider front door and does not slip on my narrower heel. This fit is hard to come by. I get great arch support, no pressure points and good ankle support which is critical. Love these NB shoes!

I ordered an 8.5 wide and have worn this size in New Balance shoes for years. This model was immediately WAY too tight in the toe box, which is inconsistent with other New Balance athletic shoes I have purchased in the past. The entire shoe felt snug, but the toe box was not a wide toe box and I had to send these shoes back. Got another pair of New Balance that fit just fine.

.Runs about a half size too small. Normally wear a 10, but had to return and reorder a 10 1/2. Love the color of these shoes and get lots of compliments.

The fit was great for these shoes. I went up a half size because I wear the shoes for walking (3-4 miles a day). I was looking for a neutral pronation shoe and these are perfect.

This shoes does NOT fit true to size. It's ONE whole size smaller. I purchased my usual size 8 for New Balance and way too short...returned and bought an 8.5 thought I was okay ad decided to keep them and now very sorry....after wearing them for a short workout on the treadmill I have a very sore toe...they are very short in the toe box. I purchased the New Balance 680v6, Color: Air/Reflection. The reviews all said it ran short so I'm not sure where the 58% rating comes from for true to size fit. I will be donating my size 8.5 pair. Note: I wear a size 7 shoe medium width and my other 2 pairs of NB gym shoes are an 8.

True to size Great arch support. I normally buy Brooks Ghost tennis shoes I bought these because I loved the color. Ended up being the Best Buy I’ve ever made. I walk 9-10 miles a day. My feet never hurt. My lumber area of my back doesn’t hurt. I’ve had 5 back surgeries and my back hurts 24/7. Not once with these shoes. I’m waiting for them to have my size again and I’m buying more than 1 pair. New Balance did awesome with these

Nice!!! Had to order a half size up but these are good old fashion running sneakers that deliver the whole package! It seems the newer running sneakers out there have become upgraded with a lot of extras in exchange for weird fabrics and odd looking designs with not much comfort. Love these.

Just a really great feeling sneaker out of the box. I am thrilled with them.

I ordered a size 10 wide width because I don't like a tight toe box. I have chronic tendonitis in my left foot and am picky about the arch support and cushiony sole. I really like this shoe for its comfort and support level. I used to go straight to the $160 shoes thinking I would get a much more comfortable shoe, not so. These are every bit as comfortable. I am no longer a runner, so why pay the big bucks. I love shopping with Zappos!!

One of my favorite styles, as long as they don’t make any changes in the next version! I bought these even though my purple ones are still in great shape just because I want to be sure to have another pair. And no purple left in my size! Other sites have them but at a 100% premium over the base price for the shoe. Unreal. Zappos is the best place to shop for shoes. You might get a sale price on certain colors but I have never seen Zappos double the price on the “hot” colors. Love Zappos’ business model and customer service.

These shoes were purchased to wear on opposite days of my other pair like these. They are comfortable, suppirtive and very light. I love this model! Zappo's is the only way to buy shoes. They are quick. They are friendly. And they have free shipping.

I'm hard to fit due to a sizeable bunion on one foot and these shoes feel like a dream - good support but very flexible footbed and uppers, feel more like slippers than shoes. The lightweight fabric uppers make it possible to adjust the fit so that my different-width feet both feel well fitted. Am exchanging the blue (quite light color, which I feel would get dirty quickly if I wear them outdoors) for less charming, more serviceable black.

I usually wear a 9 but ordered 9.5 after reading reviews. Still too snug in toes, low toe box but stretchy fabric.
