I have been distance running for 37 years. The shoe needs to work for me in order to avoid injury. All brands seem to change the models with each new generation so it is amazing how Zappos let you take them for a ride first! I tried some other shoes before these Horizons. Funny how they felt great on the feet but the minute I ran, the cushion seemed to disappear. Mizuno Horizon 3 felt awkward on my feet at first but the run was fabulous. Amazing cushion and support. I was so pleased as I have been struggling to find a pair that works for me. I over-pronate, have long toes and flat feet! I only gave 4 stars on the style as I really wish women's shoes could maybe come in lime greens and colors other than purples and pinks and other girly pastels. The men's shoes always seem to have more fun vivid coloring.

I'm a longtime Mizuno wearer and I overpronate. This is my first experience with the Wave Horizon. As other reviewers mentioned, it's super cushy, which is great during runs or HIIT. The shoe fits a bit looser and wider than other Mizuno styles I've worn previously, and it does feel a teeny bit loose in the heel area. My foot is on the wider side, so for me to say the shoe feels wide is a pretty big deal. While I have been a longtime Mizuno fan, I stick with the shoe because of the support and stability, not necessarily because of the look. I'm a fan of a more minimal design, and these feel sort of 'busy' to me in terms of design. But it was time for new shoes so I took the plunge. Overall, happy with the purchase, just getting accustomed to the difference in fit.

It's been a while since I have run in Mizuno's and I have been beyond pleased with the shoe! Great stability shoe overall. There is more heel support and a thicker cushion around the heel than I am used to. However, I had no issue with it rubbing or aggravating my heels while running. There is a lot of cushion to the soles however they still have a firm feel when walking in them and provided great energy run and a little bounce to my stride while running. I haven't tested these shoes out on many long runs but have taken them on short to moderate distance runs and have loved running in them! Glad to be back in a pair of Mizunos!

I am thrilled with these shoes. My first Mizunas. I've been looking for a shoe that corrects my probation, with a good heel drop, ankle support, and stability. A lot of the newest styles are lacking in all of these, sacrificing function and health to form and style. My knees are happy in these, which is a direct result of the pronation correction these provide. I also bought the Inspires, which have less pronation correction but will be good for when I want my feet to chill a bit. My gripe: the laces are too short. I do not have wide feet, but I do need to use the extra hole, and as a result the bow I can tie is tiny, and I have to pull the laces really tight. I might have to invest in longer laces, which I should not have to do. But otherwise, very thankful to find this well designed shoe. I marked them half size small, but really that's the case with all sneakers, not sure why. I bought the grey/purple and have just ordered the black. If they work as well as I hope I'll come back for more, because I know sneaker manufacturers like to discontinue styles.

I could sum these shoes upin two words, "simply fabulous"!. The wave horizon 3 are so much better than the 1 & 2. You can instantly feel the cushioned heel support as soon as you put them on. Once you start walking in them, it feels like you are walking on a cloud. I have bouts of plantars fascitis and these shoes definitely help alleviate the pain. I am a size 9 -9.5 in normal shoes but in sneakers I am usually a 10 to 10.5. I ordered these in the 10 and 10.5 and the 10.5 felt much better. The grey/purple color is so pretty. You will not be disappointed.

I wear these sneakers to work because I'm on my feet all day in a kitchen. They're comfortable but not as comfortable in the heel as the Wave horizon 2. I was in the car all day and my right heel started to bother me due to the design of the heel. This happens to me everytime. I find a sneaker that fits so well, and you stop making it. I scoured the internet to find the oldermodel in my size and its impossible.

I liked these at first when I put them on because the cushioning felt like my old Asics 17. They did feel a little tight in the toe box and snug at the heel, even with the half size larger than I usually wear in sneakers. As I walked around the room, I noticed the shoes made my feet pronate towards the outside and my ankles and knees started to hurt. Unfortunately, the search continues..

I recommend ordering a half size up from your usual running shoe size as these shoes seem to run a bit short. I consistently wear 8 1/2 in running shoes and need a size 9 in this shoe. The Wave Horizon 3 seems a bit wider than the Wave Inspire.

These are both quite stylish and comfortable. They were a little tighter in the toe box than I expected, but I shaved the insole down a bit, and now they are perfect.

These are my new favorite running shoes. While everyone’s feet are different and someone else’s perfect running shoe is another person’s nightmare, these shoes are perfect for my feet. Good support and great forefoot cushioning. Good color choices too.

This shoe supports my foot, arch and feels like I’m walking on air. Love them!

I was hoping this shoe came in narrow, but my foot didn't seem to move around too much and I didn't get any blisters. Felt support the whole way on my medium distance runs. Was looking for a replacement for the Brooks Adrenaline GTS which I had worn for years, but the last 2 versions/models have not had enough support for me.

I love the Wave Horizon 3 because it's extremely supportive/durable BUT it is also lightweight. I typically change shoes for long runs and speed work, but I can wear the Wave Horizon 3 for both. To me, this makes the price-point affordable. Two pair of good running shoes would cost over $200, so I'm excited to find a pair that I can wear for a variety of workouts. Plus, I can wear them when I take my kids for stroller walks. The Wave Horizon 3 is true to size, so I felt comfortable getting a pair of them without trying them on. They fit comfortably snug, but they're definitely not too narrow. Highly recommended!

I bought this shoe to wear in Rome. It performed well on the uneven cobblestones streets and left me with zero fatigue. The shoe is very stable and has a cushy sole. It runs a little shorter than normal running shoes. Order a half size bigger than what you normally wear.

I always have an issue with Mizuno's making my feet fall asleep until I mess with the laces and break them in. I ran 2 miles on the treadmill and although I had to adjust the laces, I liked the fit. I then ran 3 miles outside and my feet were asleep the entire last mile. I tried them 2 more times just walking on the treadmill and the inside of my heel felt completely raw. I hate to say this because I love Mizuno's (once broken in) but for this price, I am returning them. I am hopeful that I can find a similar shoe that comes in a wider fit.

I have always bought Mizuno shoes for many years. You can put them on and they feel great the first time you wear them. They are well constructed And they last for a long time. Love them.

I went to the shoe store to buy another pair of Brooks, however they were out of the ones that I liked. The sales associate suggested that I try the Mizuno Wave Horizon 3 and I am so glad that I did. The comfort and stability are amazing. I am now a Mizuno fan and this is my 2nd pair.
