First time trying the Prophecy line. Much tighter than the Waver Riders I'm used too. Length seemed fine just too narrow. Even with thin socks, these were clearly going back.

I found the toe box to be narrow and the shoe to be tighter in the heel than my previous wave prophecy. I think mass production and mass merchandising at play. I returned it.

I have started using these shoes for longer training runs. The right shoe fits tight and causes a bit of numbness.

I wear this shoe everyday to work. I have had several other wave prophecy versions but this 1 doesn't seem to be holding up and providing the support like they have in the past. Disappointing for sure.

Left shoe is horribly uncomfortable. I have had 8 pare of mizuno prophecy shoes in the past and never experienced a problem before. With all my previous mizuno shoes it was automatic to buy another pair of prophecy but this pair is no good at all.

Shoe is very stiff. Sole is very ridged, has a tendency to cut ankles if brushed against during run.

Great shoes after the stretch. Had to go back to 7 since these are too narrow. Hope Mizuno will correct its design.

I had two pairs of Prophecy shoes... I loved them: althought they are a bit heavy, for some reasons they really seemed to be quite "soft" on my knees... that, until both pairs similarly broke on the plastic part of the sole at the back. Am I too heavy? I used them around freezing temperature... no choice here during winter... Only lasted for a few weeks. I hope an upgraded version could fix that poor materail/design but until then, stay away!

I have worn wave prophecy shoes for the past 10 years as a physical education teacher. I order women's shoes normally but this time the wave prophecy has a toebox that is too narrow for my hammer toe. I gave those to my sister and purchased a pair of men's shoes and thought the toebox would be wider. They were still uncomfortable as well so I am returning them.

Using it for walking/running. I've been a great admirer of Mizuno and used it while i was active runner, however lately it appears that the quality has gone down. first of all I am a size 13, but this is a first time in my 20 years I had to go size higher as 13 would not fit which tells me that manufacturing process is not what it used to be. Secondly, in the past all sneakers fit very well from the first day, however the last two models are not as comfortable as what I am used to and take some breaking before can use for running. Rethinking whether this is still the brand i want to use.

Had to return as the size 13 which i've been buying for the past 20 years, was too small.... . they do not fit as comfortable as what they've used to.

The cheap design from models I've owned in past are disappointing, way to expensive to look in person this cheap. Not worth the money for this model and the laces absolutely suck.

I bought these for my husband who runs a few times a week about 5-10km's. He used to have a pair a few years ago that lasted a long time and he used to run a lot more than he does now. These ones haven't even held up for less than a year and they're already starting to come apart. They cost almost $300 Canadian and definitely not worth it because they aren't built to last like they used to be.

Too heavy and the cushioning is not balance. I would not buy the Prophecy 8 again.

I had to return this shoe because it was really short and couldn't have possibly been a 15. Really it was too short to be a 14. It was also a completely different fit to the Wave Prophecy I bought a few years ago. Most disappointing was the fact that Mizuno do not pay for returns so I will not be ordering anything else again from Mizuno! I feel cheated that I was prepared to spend over $350 on merchandize from Mizuno but had to pay to return one item that didn't fit and was nowhere near the size that it was supposed to be!!
