Purchased for my 1st grader. What I like about it is: plenty big enough to fit his winter gear as we live in MN, padded straps and back panel, chest clip, sturdy zipper, and cute style! Tons of colors to choose from. We got orange which will make him easy to spot in a crowd.

The perfect size for your kids! Very spacious and well constructed. Love the fact that you can get creative with the colors and mix ‘n match the lunch bag! My kids loved it and can’t wait to go to school now. Side note: it’s made out of recycled plastic bottles! So your technically going green too!

Both of my sons have this backpack. One has used his for SK and grade 1 and the other for JK. Both are still going strong and my older son will be using it again for grade 2. The only thing that has worn through is the mesh water holder on the side, but they were used every day and I hope to repair them and extend the backpack for a 3rd school year.

Seriously...these backpacks are the real deal. They're super cool, totally fun and actually made to last! These are hands down the best quality made backpacks for a kid that I've come across. Kids beat up their backpacks and lets face it, backpacks are not cheap! This backpack has lasted more than one school year and that's a credit to itself because most backpacks are made so poorly that I have to buy more than 1 per kid just to get through the school year which is ridiculous! It's not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. Highly recommend! P.S. PLEASE PLEASE restock these backpacks! Do not discontinue. I have been waiting to buy a green one for one of my boys and he really is holding out for it...

This was the backpack my son picked out for kindergarten, he used it the entire year and absolutely loved it. After a full year of use the only thing that started to wear was the bottom of the mesh for the water bottle pocket on the side of the bag. I was able to sew the mesh closed and we are now halfway through first grade and the bag is still going strong. The inside of the bag is very spacious, he can fit his school items and his entire winter coat or lunch bag in there. Highly recommend.

I bought this beautiful Backpack for my 5 year old grandson and the color is vivid and the bag is spacious. I also bought the matching lunch bag. Thank you Zappos for the fast delivery and the care you put into packaging it!

Great size and cute style! Not too wide for my average sized 8 year old. zipper opens wide to fit in larger books and binders. My son loves the nice rectangular opening over his other rounded book bag.

This backpack is the best thing you could buy for your son or daughter that is in love with LEGO’s. My son loves this & I couldn’t imagine getting him any other backpack. It’s very heavy Duty but light & easy on his back even with his books inside. It’s great. Best Buy ever

I cannot recommend this bag as a school backpack. After 3 months of use it is showing signs of wear and tear, which should be expected after at most, 9 months of use by a kindergartener holding no more than 2 lbs. at a time Better materials or design is needed for use as a school backpack.

I bought both of my sons one of these Lego backpacks for school this year. Compared to other youth backpacks, the price for these is quite high, but I hoped that these backpacks would last longer than one school year, and went for it. I assumed that I was getting a quality product made with quality material, however, we're barely 2 months into the school year and the mesh side pocket is already worn through with runs and holes. Since COVID-19, this pocket is commonly used in elementary school ages kids for waterbottles, which is what my kids use it for. The pocket is used for transporting the waterbottle from home to school (where it is then stored in the classroom) and spends very little time in the backpack- definitely not enough time to account for the wear already showing. Every backpack my kids have had has had a mesh side pocket for water bottles, and none of them have ever worn down this way before. It's extremely disappointing that the his has happened in such a short period of time.
