These booties in gold are adorable! Pretty comfortable. If you have thick ankles, they may be tight the first few wears, but fine for me. I can be at work and walk to multiple meetings in other buildings with them no problem. However, I wouldn’t want to walk all over the city in them. I feel with the pointed toe, they were my normal size, didn’t need to size up. The gold will definitely get more crinkled and distressed with wear, but I thinks that’s cool!

I really like this bootie. It felt like it ran a half size smaller than normal. I typically wear a 7 in boots and I ended up in a 7 1/2. I chose the Black suede. Once again, Frye knocks it out of the park!

Had to return because it was too tight on my legs. Wouldn't have been able to walk normally. I am not overweight and I don't normally have to get wide calf boots. My ankles and calves aren't slim but not oversized either.

I've worn them for a week now and they are so comfortable!!! They are great, classic Frye quality, and amazing comfort. I love that they have a bit of country sass! I've worn them with a normal sweater and with a hoodie and skinnies and they looked great with both! So happy I got them! I did use the Frye rub on conditioner on them because i live in rainy Oregon and they haven't shown any spots and it's been pouring.

I love these gold boots. I got a 7, which is my typical size (sometimes I'm a 7.5) and was a good fit. They are a bit tight at first, but soften during the first wear. It was most tight on the top of my foot near my ankle, but was only "uncomfortable" an hour or two into the first wear. It did soften. I bought these for my bachelorette party and have since gotten so many wears out of them. They go with anything and are a great neutral with spunk!

Absolutely beautiful bootie! I bought these to wear with my wedding dress so I have only tried them on but they seem very comfortable, beautiful soft leather to be expected from Frye. I typically wear a 7.5 or 8 bought these in an 8 and they are perfect.

This is a very well made "light" bootie. The leather is much lighter than you normally expect from Frye. Saying that, however, they are very comfortable. I can feel the ground in them, and I so glad they brought back this style of toe. Most folks will say they run 1/2 size to a whole size small. I have high arches and narrow feet, so I purchased a 6 1/2 and they fit very well. No heel slippage in this boot!! I normally wear either a 6 or 6 1/2. This fits extremely well with light socks. Not for bad weather, more for an afternoon out with jeans and a cute sweater.

*I've worn these 4 times now so part of my review might change as they break in a bit. The good: these are beautiful quality made booties that one can expect from Frye! The buttery soft leather smells so good!! I live in Alaska and needed a bootie option for in between temps (to cycle out my Frye cowboy boots occasionally, yes I'm a big fan!). They are super comfortable on the instep of my foot, the heel isn't really a noticeable factor for days spent on my feet. The bad: It hurts me emotionally to write something bad. That's how much I enjoy these boots. However, the cut on the front of the ankle is not comfortable. It's not "tight" but hits right at the wrong bend. It might stretch out? I will note that the price is pretty high. I was drunk with retail therapy when I bought them and do not regret the purchase, but they are at the extreme end of my acceptable level. To be noted, if you live somewhere like Alaska where you find yourself hugging it through plowed parking lots, the heel of these is not varnish finished and it discolors when wet. Thank you Frye for making this mama feel sassy and classy!

The quality of this boot is not up to the Frye Boot standard. Alot of Frye boot styles are now made in China. No hand-stitched soles, Nubuck, not waxed leather. I was very disappointed in the quality of these boots. Everything about this boot screams cheap. If the new owners of Frye Boots are not careful, they will alot of loyal Frye boot fans
