I am so glad that I sized down from an 11 to a 10! I could have gotten away with a 9 and 1\2! I have never worn Dr. Matters because I thought they were too young looking for me, at 60! Well I don't care! These sandals are comfortable, excellently made, and just down right hot!! They are great for my bad feet and weak ankles. I can hardly wait for the weather to be warmer!! I mught even take a picture with my hammer toe, and all!!!?

Love these shoes! I do have a wide foot & they fit perfect for my size. Kept seeing reviews saying the run big but since my foot is wide i took the chance and went with my exact size and it was perfect! I am a size 8 and got a size 8. Since one foot is wider than the other it did take a couple times of wearing them to break in good, but after it was perfect ?

The sandals look and feel dope. But definitely get one size smaller than what you usually wear cuz these run large.

This one of the best pair of sandals I’ve ever had!!! Runs one full size up...always take a 9 but switched out for an 8 which was perfect! I work retail always searching for that perfect pair of awesome shoes!!i have found them and the compliments are coming all day long!

I absolutely love these first of all. I am normally a women's size 8.5-9 but heard they run a little large, I ordered a women's size 8 and they were still huge on me. I exchanged them for the women's size 7 and they seem to fit perfect now. So, if you are thinking of ordering these I would consider ordering down at least one size. I have gotten tons of compliments!

These sandals are great! I was a bit concerned about the strap over the heel as it is at an odd height compared to other sandals I’ve worn. Its positioning is actually preferable as it doesn’t cause friction at the flex point on the back of the ankle. Very comfortable footbed, typical of Dr Martens footwear and all of the straps are comfortable. Usually sandals cause pinching on my smallest toe on each side after an hour or so but these don’t. The leather is soft and supple. The buckles can be a bit fussy so they’re not super quick to get on and off but I imagine this will improve with time as the end of the strap bends and loosens up a bit. I would definitely recommend buying these if you like the style.

I cannot overstate how much I LOVE these sandals! Based on other reviews I wasn't sure how these would fit, but I went with my regular size 8 and they worked out perfectly. That said, you should know that these are some big, roomy sandals. You probably want to size down if you are on the smaller side of your size. I have a bunion on my right foot and was super pleased to see that there just happens to be a cut out on the sandal right where my bunion is, so no worries about it rubbing. The footbed is super cushiony and comfortable. I am happy with the level of arch support they provide. They are surprisingly lightweight considering how relatively bulky they are. They seem to be very good quality and I expect that they will hold up well for some time.

I absolutely love the look of all the new Doc Marten sandals however they run extremely large. I am a true 5-51/2 and these fit more like a 6-61/2. Too long and the foot straps which aren’t adjustable like the ankle straps, are too wide.

These shoes are THE BOMB! They are so funky and stylish without being over the top. They look fantastic with everything from shorts to a cute summer dress. They are super light weight too, which was a big surprise. As for fit, they are perfect. I wear a European size 37 or 38, UK 5, and US 7. I got the UK5-US7 and the size is spot on. LOVE THEM!

I read the reviews and ordered this a full size smaller than my usual size. I previously got this same sandal in the brown color, so I knew that the UK 6 (US 8) was the perfect size instead of the UK 7 (US 9) that I usually wear. I loved them so much that I bought them in the black color. I usually try hard to avoid getting the same shoe in different colors, but this time I just had to do it. Love, Love, Love the style, fit, and comfort!

Based on the reviews, I ordered one size smaller than my normal size....ie, a size UK 6 instead of a size UK 7; and they fit perfectly. I was surprised by the comfort of these sandals (not surprised by the super cool factor/style}; and wore them for hours right away with no problems. They provided great support especially on uneven ground; which made walking around a grassy park area a breeze. I had to wait quite awhile til my size was back in stock; and then JUMP on it when I got the back in stock e-mail; but it was SO worth it!

Great sandals. These were very nice and comfortable

The back of this sandal that fits on the achilles tendon, was too loose for my foot. I love the style and the quality is high, but my foot did not fit well in this shoe.

These sandals run extra large. I am usually an 8-8.5 and I got a 7, they are still a bit large but the 6 would likely be too small. They are also borderline too wide and I am a Medium in width. They are difficult to get on, there is no easy zip back entry but you have to actually take time out of your life to sit down and buckle them up. I thought I'd be okay with the old-school but in the day to day it does entail planning an extra five minutes for this, and I find I will generally opt for a shoe that I can slip on and go instead. For sandals they are hot, as my feet did sweat in the sole area as it seems to be rubber or something - not leather as it describes. The top is leather and overall the sandal is high quality and very cool looking, and will probably last a lifetime, if only it fit snugger, had a leather sole and a zip back entry then it would be perfect.

When I saw these I fell in love with them immediately due to the straps and the height of the design, but upon receiving them I was quick to find out they are not made for my type of feet. My little toe was unnaturally bent inward under the strap. And though the sandal is longer and appears to accommodate even a half size bigger, the narrow width makes it impossible to wear. I tried it around the house, but the pressure of my little toe squeezed inwardly was painful and also not flattering. In general I like sandals were I can spread ALL of my toes and show off my nail polish, but with these, all I'll be showing off is a hammer toe. It is a beautiful pair of very unique gladiator sandals, but sadly made for someone with very long and narrow foot. I will be returning them and I have not been able to find something similar to replace with. What a letdown!
