Adilette AQUA are the pair to get if you plan to be in water a lot and need some support. I had an old pair of unisex regular Adilettes, and there's a light fabric (nylon?) layer under the top that eventually gets gross-smelling if you are in and out of pools, hot springs, and showers like I am when I visit Costa Rica. Soap, silver-infused sandal deodorant spray, a tumble in the washing machine, and 5 days in the sun wouldn't get the smell out completely, which is a bummer because they are great sandals that have lasted me years. The Aqua does not have that fabric layer and so should not develop that smell over the next few years. They are somewhat lighter in weight than the original Adilette and narrower, since these are sized for women, not women and men. But my experience with the original Adilette is that these will eventually stretch out a bit. They have decent traction even on slippery surfaces. Be careful not to wear lotion on your feet if they will get wet or your feet will slip around in these. Note that these differ from CF (spongier, more comfy) and Shower (has that nylon lining too) as well as original Adilette (also has that lining). I had to order all four styles to compare them and figure out the differences.

Didn't realize when ordering that these weren't the regular Adilettes, but the difference is obvious right away. These are lighter in weight & the footbed is less molded than the regular version. The mint & white color combo is beautiful. Can't wait to see how they do on wet surfaces.

I love Adlilettes, & have owned several pairs. This water version is lighter weight than the regular ones, & the color combination is prettier than I've seen on regular ones. I'm looking forward to testing them out at the beach & the pool to see how they fare. So far, they're comfortable & easy to wear around the house.

These are a dark purple. Not a paste by any means.

I owned a similar pair many many years ago, and thought I’d try them again. Love them! I got an 8 and they fit great, but I usually wear an 8.5-9 in shoes. So my suggestion would be to size down if you are typically a half size. There is also no “fabric” underneath the strap so I’m hoping they won’t get any odor (my previous ones did) if wearing them after the pool which is my plan.

Size and fit were as described. I wear them to the Y for swim class. Thongs are too hard to negotiate with wet feet.

Just what I wanted. Perfect slide. Make sure to size down a size. I wear a size 8 normally. Returned size 8 and the 7 fit perfect.

Based on other reviews about these running big, I ordered a size 7 but I'm usually a 7.5 to 8 and these 7s fit perfectly. I find the arches in these too high for my liking and they can make mine ache if I wear these for most of the day. They're cushy and don't slip thanks to the rubber feel on the inside. I would definitely get another pair to use around the house or do quick errands.

Extremely Comfortable

I love this sandal. I’m normally an 8.5 but sized down to a 38 which is more of a 7.5 but it was still noticably big. Since it is a summer sandal for the beach and pool ( and not a lot of walking) I kept it. Probably best to order a few sizes to get the correct fit and return the ones that don’t fit. Will work with thick socks for now.

My 12 year old daughter loves these. Says they are cushy and comfy. They will be her go-to pool shoes this summer. Ordered her usual size 7 and it fits perfectly.

Had to try these slides out. Cute look and comfy! Comfortable for wider feet.

Fit and size right on. Very comfortable. I wear them to the pool. Bought another pair in Dusted Pink.

I feel soo supportive in them

Felt like these run a little big. I’m a true 7.5, and usually when there’s no half sizes an 8 is perfect. But I’m definitely returning these and getting the 7. Otherwise, super cute and comfortable. Lightweight!

I usually wear a 6.5-7 and I went with a 6. It was perfect. I love the indigo color and they’re so comfy!

I’m really happy with these. More comfortable than Birkenstock’s. I may buy more colors. I wear a 7.5 and the 7 fit perfectly.

I got these to wear in the locker room and I'll probably end up wearing them out on the street, too. They're adorable and super comfy. The indigo color is fun/different without being obnoxious.

I ALWAYS wear a size 9 so that's the size I bought. They fit more snuggly - not as much as 1/2 size too small, maybe more like 1/4 size too small - than I would like but I am going to keep them hoping they stretch out a bit. The plastic is stiff though, so I'm a little afraid that I might get blisters on the top of my feet from the hard strap. My son has a pair of these slide things that are soft and comfortable. He keeps them on our back porch so I slip them on all the time to take out the trash or run a quick errand. I bought these Addidas so that I could have my own pair, but his are A LOT more comfortable. Maybe they're not Addidas? I should go look but who wants to walk all the way downstairs . . . . .

Main Prob most unsupportive shoe ever.

I really wanted to love these- the style is easy, the weight is light and price is perfect. I'm normally a size 7, which was my initial purchase- however that size gave my foot no room front or back. Some might say it was a perfect fit, but knowing how your feet move around in sandals I could envision my toes either handing off the front (or blisters) or my heel riding the back of the sandal. Back they went in exchange for an 8, but these were way too big- my foot was swimming in this one length and width. Perhaps this is just not the brand for me but so disappointed.

Arch on these shoes was way to high for me. I tried but couldn’t tolerate wearing the shoes and ended up returning them.
