These are absolutely gorgeous boots, they just simply do not fit. This was to be my third pair of Tory Burch boots but the boot shaft is not made for someone larger than a size 0, a shrinking trend I have noticed since my first pair. For reference, I am 5'8", 140 lb and typically wear a size 4/6 in pants. I am a runner, but my calfs are by no means large. The footbed felt true to size, but I could not get this boot zipped up more than half way! I would have needed about an inch more in circumference to zip the boots up. As there is no "wide calf" option I will be retuning and looking for a different brand that hasn't deemed normal sized calves as fat.

These are gorgeous boots coming out of the box. I am about 5'5" with slender calves (14.5" around). The boots fit well, slight gapping but that is almost always the case. I ultimately decided to return them though. I have crazy skinny ankles, which is fine and makes my calves look normal: but ONLY if you can see the skinny ankle. Unfortunately, I didn't get the skinny ankle effect with these boots as they are more straight up and down, even with the buckle at the bottom. The "cankle" look doesn't work for me. Wanted to post this in case there are other ladies in the same boat.

I have to agree with the previous reviews which is exactly why I ordered these boots. I have had trouble finding boots that didn't gap way out at the back due to my skinny legs. These are perfect for me. I am also tall so didn't have an issue them being too tall which I can see could be an issue. The leather is beautiful. I look forward to wearing these for a long time.

These boots are beautiful. The color really is a “perfect brown”! I would definitely classify them as narrow shaft. I have slim legs (which I’ve hated for most of my life) and these are the first boots I’ve ever found that fit snugly around my calves. Even my Cole Haan narrow shaft boots still have a good 1-2” of extra room in the shaft. If you have normal calfs these probably won’t work for you, but I love them!!!

Just perfect, classic riding boots. Beautiful, classic, timeless. Gorgeous black leather. Fits true to size, maybe runs a tab large. I'm in a warm climate with few cold days, so won't be wearing thick socks with them. I have slim legs, and thought the fit through the calf was great.Definitely some extra room for me even with jeans tucked in, but not enough to look bad. At first I thought the sole was too thin, but as I wear them more that's not an issue as long as I wear at least a light sock. For boots, they are very comfortable even when wearing all day.

Beautiful boot but I am having a hard time getting the shaft to fit properly. I am petit with thin legs, and yet I have to go to the wide calf boot, which then has a shaft that is too long and interferes with my knees while walking. Unfortunately I must return. Three stars on comfort because I didn't have a chance to wear them long enough to find out. The true test of comfort is being able to wear them at work all day.

Love these boots! Be advised that although I have thin legs (not the rest of me though..?) these boots are snug at the calf and they are super tall. I am 5’5 and when sitting they do cut into the back of my knee a bit, they have softened with wear and this seems to be less of a problem now. They are gorgeous leather and I do love them...just wish they were a 1/2 inch shorter!

These boots fit perfectly and are very comfortable! The leather is firm, so the boot stands nicely, yet soft enough to fit like a glove. I have a hard time finding boots that fit well in the calf, but these are perfect for me. The Zappos staff has been amazing helping me find the perfect boot! Thank you!!!

I.love.these.boots! I typically buy a pair of classic tall black boots to last 5 or more years. These are perfect because of the high quality craftsmanship, style and comfort as well as elevating to a stylish brand. The shaft is narrower than usual tall boots but if you are able to wear them you will love them. Truthfully I am 6 feet tall and currently a size 16 and the boot is an 11 and am within 2 inches of getting them zipped up all the way but am losing weight and know that soon they will be just fine based on where I was before the weight.

Love these boots! I was reluctant to order them based on reviews, but I'm so happy I did. They have a more narrow fit in the foot, but they are still comfortable. The boot shaft is slim too, but not as small as I was anticipating. The color is absolutely beautiful!

I really liked the style of these boots. Then fit was true to size and I did not think it was too tight in the calves.

For reference, I am a 5 foot 8 inches, size 9.5 to 10. The 9.5 boot fit perfectly--a tiny bit snug over the ball of my foot, but I think the leather will stretch nicely with wear. They seem very comfortable and the heel is a perfect height for all day wear. My calf width is average and there's room--the fit is tailored, but not tight. The tall height is great--right up to the bottom of my knees. They will work well with jeans and leggings.

Well made boots but so extremely tight and narrow. Wish it came in wide calf. Had to return.

This boot would have been just right if it didn't have the Tory Burch initials emblazened in gold on the heel made worse by the gold colored hardware. Others might like it, but not my style despite good fit.

I always order an 8.5 as a back up but the 8 was a true fit. I’m 5’8” and 115 and had no complaints about the length of the boot or the fit on my calves. I could justify the price because it is a high quality boot. The toe was a tad too round for my liking but the dealbreaker was gold hardware. With regret, I returned them. Still looking for a comparable boot.

I have a narrow foot (typically wear 9.5 N), but tried these boots in a 9.5M based on previous reviews (and great sale price!). They fit very well...a little slipping in the heel when I wear with tights, but otherwise a great fit. They are beautiful leather, and will last a long time. They are narrow in the calf, but fit me perfectly. If you have muscular calves or a wide foot these boots will not work for you...too narrow!

Tory Burch shoes are rarely comfortable...but I love them anyway!

Everyone’s reviews said the fit was smaller than normal, but I found these to be true to size. I ordered a half size up and had to send them back for my usual size.

I am so pleased to find a pair of boots that works for me! I have tried a lot. I usually wear a 9N. It's hard to find boots in that size. These are almost perfect except for slipping in the heel a tiny bit. I like that they are knee high and slimmer than most boots. Some people complained that they were too slim, but that works for me as I have slim legs. I like the style and the leather seems to be good quality.

The boots are beautiful! The sizing around the calf was perfect for me which is quite unusual as I have very slim calves. However there was a very stiff breakage across the top of the boot about 3 inches below the toe area that was extremely uncomfortable. I wore them around the house for a day, hoping the leather would soften up and become more comfortable, but was unsuccessful so had to return them. Extremely disappointed.

I already own one pair of Tory Burch boots that I bought last year. I love them and they are so comfortable. I ordered this new pair in my usual size of 6.5 and they were too small especially in the width. I sent back and ordered a 7 and the left boot fit fine but still, the width on the right was too small. I wore them around the house and they were so uncomfortable. They look nice, but not worth the money. I was fortunate to get them on sale for $198 and I still did not keep them.

If you’re a runner or soccer player these likely won’t work for you. I should have read the other reviews before purchasing! I couldn’t get these boots to zip up over my calves. For reference I’ve never had a problem getting boots to fit over my calves before so I don’t think I’m abnormally muscular or anything. Otherwise I would have loved to keep them.

These boots are beautiful and the foot is comfortable but the calf portion is ridiculously tight. I am 5'6", 125 lbs and I do not have big calves and these are so tight they made my toes go numb. I've been wearing them just a few minutes at a time around the house trying to loosen them up. I use the blow dryer to warm the leather before putting them on to help them stretch. They have loosened up a little, but I may end up returning them if they don't give some more in the next few days.

These riding boots are so nice and classy (style, material, color)...everything that I was looking for. However, just as other customers have indicated, these boots are super narrow. I literally could not even zip up the boots all the way, and I don't have overly large calves...I am 5'2'' and 125 lbs. Unfortunately, I am only returning because they do not fit (and this boot is not available in wide calf. So, if you have super thin calves, these boots are for you.

Super comfortable for all day wear. Beautiful boots for a more casual, yet finished look. I love them!
