Ok, these boots are amazing. I just wore them on a trip to Portland, covering 6+ miles a day. These books are super comfortable right out of the box, and they hold up in the rain. I was worried about sizing since previous commenters encouraged ordering a size down. However, the 39 was the only size available in black, so I went with it. I normally wear a 7.5 (Columbia) or 8 (Kamik), and my feet run narrow. The 39 was perfect. These boots aren't clunky, so they look stylish with leggings and skinny jeans. A great buy!

Very stylish and versatile boot. I was looking for something with a low heel that would accept my orthotic and these WORK. Very easy to get on and off, too. And so comfortable - important as a teacher!

Love chic Chelsea look! Dig flexible groovy sole. Nicely constructed leather with medium fur-lining. Ordered down based on reviews. 7 1/2 M foot size and tried 38 (7 - 7 1/2) and while slightly loose in heel, not enough toe box room with lightweight spandex sock, toes almost to tip, rubbing on outside. Normally wear 7 1/2 M- 8 M in Chelsea boots depending on brand. Re-ordered size up (39) and toes-crossed that they fit!

These fit like a glove. I originally ordered the Born Casco but had to send them back because there was not enough room in the toe box. They look to be well made as well.

I love these boots! Exactly what I've been looking for to replace my beloved ECCO Chelsea boots that they stopped making. Order a half size down! I did, and they fit me perfectly. I'm usually a 7.5-8 and ordered the 7-7.5 after reading other reviews.

This is my second pair of Rieker boots--the first pair lasted 3 years! Their antistress sole is no joke. Round trip, I walk 3.5 miles for my daily commute, plus all the running around at work, and I have no pain at the end of the day. I like that they're slightly roomier to accommodate thick socks (and slightly swollen feet at the end of the day). There's also room for an insert if you need extra arch support.

This is a very stylish boot that looks dressy, but is comfortable for daily commuting. I have a high instep, so the boot feels narrow. I went up a 1/2 size because the boots do not come in wide and over time, they have expanded a little to accommodate the shape of my feet. My only concern is that the heel is distinctive and I'm not sure how easily I can have it replaced when it eventually wears down. Other than that, I am very happy with the purchase.

As many reviewers said, this boot runs big. Usually I take a 10 but ended up with the 9 1/2. These are very stylish and can be worn casual or dressy. Felt comfortable at first wear.

These are great boots! I am usually a size 6, sometimes a 6.5, and wavered between what size I should buy. I went with the size 37 and I do think they are a bit big - and will probably feel even larger as the leather wears in a bit. I am exchanging for a size 36.

Found these in search of a flat or low heal black boot. They felt broken in from the get go. I normally wear a US 7 and ordered a 38 in these. They are quite large; I would recommend a selecting a size smaller. No arch support but otherwise very comfortable, and they look good with both jeans or a skirt with tights. The sole does great on wet or icy surfaces without being too bulky.

Really happy with these. They do feel a baby bit too big. I feel like I could have sized down a half size.

I absolutely love these boots. I bought them for a trip to Europe in December and walked about 80 miles in 10 days in these and could not have been happier with the durability and comfort. They did great in rain and slush, too. I’m buying them in brown next!

Very cute and stylish boots however I chose to return these and keep a similar pair from a different brand due to comfort. I found these to be quite thin in the soles where standing all day might make for sore feet. Other than that they were true to size and ran slightly narrow with a very narrow in-step.

Updating and amending my last review. 39 (8) is too big in toe box. 7 1/2 M foot size really need 38.5 (7 1/2 - 8) which only few shoe brands seem to make. After trying 39, would now recommend 38 (7) counting on stretching of leather with wear. 39 which is loose to begin with would be way too big when it stretches. Back to drawing board for me.

I enjoy the look of this shoe. It is easy to pull-on, despite having a tiny pull-tab, as the elastic pulls open easily if you just use your hands to pull the front and back apart to allow for your foot to enter. There is a nice, comfy liner, and the sole is a very short-length faux-fur that is not removable, but one could easily place a preferred insole on top. This shoe could benefit from adding an insole, as the shoe is lacking cushion and arch support that I would prefer. The outsole has a neat grip pattern that seems like it would be rather effective and I appreciate it's coloring for hiding dirt or imperfections. I hate looking at solid-colored soles with obvious imperfections.

I love the way these boots look, but I need arch support and these had none.

These boots were cute but didn’t keep them because they’re hard to put on but once they’re on your foot is swimming inside.
