I needed a new pair of all black dressy tennis shoes for work. These do have the Tom's logo on the tongue and on the heel, but that could be covered up by stitching on a piece of black felt or just coloring it in with a black fabric marker if you work somewhere that requires your shoes to be COMPLETELY black. These have elastic that holds the tongue in place and allows you to wear them with or without laces. I took the laces out. I tend to struggle finding shoes because my toes hump up (from years of dance, gymnastics, and ballet as a child) so they press against and rub the toe box on most shoes. The canvas of these shoes has a bit of stretch and the toe box is higher than a lot of other similar tennis shoes (such as Keds) so I can wear these without my toes hurting all the time. I wear a 9 in almost all shoes and these fit perfectly in length in the 9 I bought. They do feel a tiny bit narrow (again, similar to Keds) but the canvas is a little stretchy so that shouldn't be an issue for me.

I could walk all day in these shoes. I bought them for a recent trip to Europe and it is the first time I have not removed my shoes in an airplane. They were comfortable enough for miles of city walking.

I was very disappointed. They are very cute shoes, but very difficult to put on my feet. There is not enough room to slide my feet in without taking the laces out and then replacing the shoes after I put them on my feet. I have never had this problem with a pair of shoes before.

I am 8 1/2 medium and these fit perfect. Extremely comfortable, it’s liking walking on air. As with most shoes that have an electric to them the first time putting them on was a little tug. But after that they were prefect! I am ordering another color they were so comfortable. A lot of cushion. I have trouble with my feet since surgery and after wearing these all day, I had zero foot pain at the end of the day. I highly recommend them. Also they look cool without there laces.

This is my third pair of this style and I (obviously!) love them. They are immediately comfortable and I size them up to wear with some of my cute socks. I personally like them without the laces because it makes them quick on-off and am pleased that even without the laces they do not slip. I have to confess that with this pair (black on black) that I removed the TOMS labels. With the labels gone I have some super comfortable shoes to wear to places like the symphony that look a bit dressy. I normally don't mind advertising my TOMS, but with black dress pants this looks more appropriate.

I wear orthotics and they fit just fine in these shoes - though I they would be fine without them too.

The shoes were very hard to put on, even though they seemed to be the right size. I have a high instep, and getting my foot in just took forever. Cute shoes, but I don't suggest them for people with a naturally high arch or instep.

First of all, I got these shoes for $23. Second, they are so much more functional than regular toms. I wore them to the gym and with jeans the same day. I got the pinkish color and I love it. These might be replacing my white vans this summer.

I am between a 9 and 9 ½ in most shoes, and bought the 9 ½ based on other reviews but now think the 9 would have been better. I do wear a 9 in other styles of Toms. These are comfortable and fit the bill for me for a all black shoe.

Fits like other Toms shoes. Comfortable, cute. Don’t really need the laces in them but they come with white and black laces. I usually wear a 6.5 but I like 7.5 in Toms for extra toe room.

Shoes fit great & go with everything! Got a lot of compliments on the tan color and plan on buying the black color as well.

They are ok. Just not the style and support I was looking for for a casual sneaker.

Overall, these shoes are great; comfy and cute! I like how they come with two laces (black and white) and can also be worn without laces. Also, the insole is removable :) I am a teacher and am on my feet all day, and found these shoes to hold up well after a long day! When I first received them, the elastic was snug (my feet are a little wide) but through a few uses, it stretched a tad and the shoes are more comfortable.

I have mild bunions, and these were incredibly tight across the upper foot area. The tightness was above the laces, and because of this the shoe could not be loosened where it was too tight. Also, it looks like these were made to a size 5 proportion and they just lengthened the top half of the shoe for each size up because the laces seem very close to the leg vs in the middle between toes and leg,

These shoes are cute and pretty comfortable but I wouldn’t wear them if you’re trying to do a lot of walking in a big city or shopping all day. Also they didn’t hold up very good I think it’s probably worth spending more money on a nicer pair of shoes

Zappos sent the wrong shoes. They had no laces and looked like men's shoes. They fit, but they're pretty unattractive. Returning.
