Bought these for my husband. He works outside everyday and needed a sturdy, waterproof boot. Said these were great straight out of the box and had no break-in period. I did order a half size up after reading some of the reviews and was glad I did. They do scuff easily but thats no big deal for him. He really likes the toe box. Roomy but not too big and he has narrow feet. Would definitely repurchase. Came in one day. Love Zappos for that!

These are the first safety shoes that I've worn that really feel comfortable. I've purchased a pair of Keens before, but got the wrong width. I use 11W. The only problem I had was that part of the tongue pushed into my ankle which made it very hard to wear at first. I just tied them loosely and dealt with the pain for a couple weeks while everything loosened up. I did, however, have to buy Dr. Scholl's inserts for arch support, but that is something I always have to do in every shoe I own. I've been wearing them for a month now and they are very comfortable.

They were good right out of the box.

On paper these fit the bill. But trying them on I dont know if I got a defective pair but inside the soles have a kind of small drop off or ramp about 1/3 in. In length where the metatarsal sits. It's very uncomfortable. The outside leather looks nice but it is the type that scuffs up, like your finger nail like changes the color and texture when you scratch it. I guess it kinda "cures" over time with use? The boots look good, I really like the style in person, they are attractive boots. The soles appear to have a good compromise between outside/dirt traction and flat surface comfort. I bought size 15 but 14 or 14.5 would be better. I have purchased 15 in other Keen boots that fit right. Ultimately I'm returning them before using them.
