I wanted a shoe that is versitle for travel/around town....... good for lots of walking, moderate off path, and stylish enough for pubs, museums, or just hanging. These totally fill the bill...... plus they are waterproof (gortex). The leather is flexible but still reasonable at holding foot in place via the very customizable lacing. They are great support...... wore them many days on several trips with tons of walking and no problems. Sizing is right on for me. I wear them in 10.5 and that's my natural size. I sometime buy 11 to get enough room in boots....but these are perfect in 10.5.

Very comfortable. Purchased for Europe trip. Look great and feel great all day long whether in big city downtown or in country side by water.

I really wanted to dig these shoes. Reviews were good and I was looking for a comfortable all-day walking shoe. Truth is, they are pretty narrow and the complex lacing system requires some patience to find the “comfort zone”. Don’t expect comfort out of the box. My guess is they will take a little breaking in before I consider them truly comfortable. Slightly disappointed considering the cost, but they look cool and I have not given up on them yet.

A little tight on width but these are leather and will stretch so I think that’s ok. I was concerned about the look of the laces going so close to the toe but it’s kind of old school backpacking boots look and I dig it now.

These are sturdy shoes and keep my feet dry. They are comfortable but a little stiff, which is actually good as they’re for hiking/walking. I ordered a 9.5 even though I’m a 10.

Very comfortable right out of the box

These are some of the best shoes I've ever bought! I wear them daily and do a lot of moving - a 3 - 5 mile urban hike with my dog most mornings, hiking in the hilly woods, bike riding, general wear around town. I've had them for 6 months and they haven't worn at all and as comfortable as the first time I put them on. Highly recommend!

Now, I have a narrow size 14, and my go-to "hikers" are canvas sneakers. I slipped these on, and they felt like a glove, a sturdy glove. I took a quick 30 minute walk (flat surface) just to ensure no problems. My feet loved them. Even I was surprised how well they fit me. The laces go to the toe, so for me this added to the secure fit -- but also gives it a unique design to many other shoes. I liked them so much that I am strongly considering buying a second pair. If I had to offer any negative comment, it would be throw in a few more colors options.

These shoes fit me perfectly from day one. My feet are a size 14 and it’s not always easy to find good looking great fitting shoes . It’s as if these were made just for me.

Fit was perfect for me. I've worn Asolo shoes for years. They last and they fit my feet.

after purchasing some Asolo boots and realizing that they were the perfect fit for my foot I decided to give these shoes a try. They also fit perfectly and are comfortable. Bonus is that they are suede on the outside and will hold up well to the industrial environment that I plan to expose them to. Italian footwear made well....worth every penny

Fit and size seem normal to me. These do not work as well with orthotics as the Asolo Nucleons do. My feet tire much more quickly in these than in my Nucleons. I noticed these are made in Vietnam, not Romania like my other comfortable Asolos. These are nice looking, though, and if you don't have foot problems, I'd recommend them. They look nice and are comfortable (until they're not, for me).

These shoes were very comfortable and I have been enjoying using them the last week or so in the rain of the PNW. They have stayed dry inside during some hard rains. The Vibram sole is very grippy and stable. I wanted shoes with Vibram sole for how long they tend to last. I mostly use these for walking so I have not tried them on trails.

These are great shoes. Lightweight and waterproof. I typically wear a size 10 but these run a half-size larger so the 9.5 fit perfectly. I put an average of 5 miles a day in these shoes and estimate I put about 1,300+ miles a year on them. I bought a pair in September 2020 and the heels have started to wear out; but still serviceable/wearable. Pretty good value in the longevity department!

Based on limited wear (one 1.5 hour hike in varied terrain), I felt the shoes performed very well. It runs pretty true to size, maybe a half size large. With cushioned hiking socks however - which I was not wearing - it will probably be a true fit.

If this came in a EE wide, I'd give 5 stars all around. The fit is narrow for me (I usually wear 8-8.5 EE). But after several hikes the shoes have stretched and are more comfy. I tried comparable shoes from: Merrell, Oboz, Danner, 5Ten, Scarpa. The Asolos were tops in materials and build quality. They're light but sturdy. Some of the other brands had a cushier feel, like running shoes. The vibram soles are grabby. When I'm on an incline or rocks I feel secure. And they're good looking shoes, imo.

Super comfortable right out of the box. The long length of lacing allows for great adjustment -- depending if I'm wearing them around the house, driving, or hiking on rocky terrain.

I bought these at a shop in the Black Forest while posted in Germany, when I forgot to pack my Merrill Moab 2 lowtops. After probably a couple hundred kms hiking in Germany, I can say they were more waterproof then the Merrills (I love Merrills too), and, in my case, more waterproof. I have wide feet, so my Merrills were in a wide size. The Asolos only came in a medium width, but were, for some reason, more comfortable, esp. when walking longer distances. They’ve lasted 3 years so far and are still in great shape. We’re on a holiday in Moab, UT right now; they’re working great, and the Vibram soles are very grippy.

Amazing shoe. Total comfort. Hiked up Mount Elbert in this shoe and it was my best experience ever with any shoe. I've done numerous 14ers and am an experienced hiker....get this while you can.
