Remember that part in Misery where Annie whacks duder's ankles? That is what my feet feel like all the time. I typically wear Hoka One One Bondi 6 (even with dress clothes lol smile cry) and nothing is more stable and comfortable. These slides are just as sturdy and well made for skipping around the house. The arch support is so firm and comfortable for high arches, nice grippy soles for stretching with plantar fasciitis, and if you have arthritis around the top of your feet, like I do (BRAG), the top of the slide doesn't mash on those joints. I wear socks with them because I'm 41 and I do whatever I want.

I have plantar fasciitis and need a lot of cushion under my feet. I can no longer walk barefoot on wood floors, so I live in these slides all day. The Oofos are narrower and shorter than the Hoka, but not enough to change the size I need. The Hoka are roomier under the strap. If your feet are meaty, the Hoka will work better. My feet are bony. The Oofos fit better barefoot, but the Hokas fit better with socks. The Hoka have a thicker, stiffer sole. The Oofos sole is softer and springier. The Oofos has a higher arch. The Oofos has a smoother bottom, but not slick. The Hoka has a more grooved, off-road type of surface. Hoka has more colors. Both take some getting used to at first, since they have so much more support than most slippers or sandals. If my feet start to ache in one of them, switching to the other to change the pressure points works well. I wear a 7W in Bondi 6, but a 5 in the Hoka slide.

I have two of the original Oras and love them both. In the process of trying to order another one in a different color I found they've been discontinued. So, I tried these Ora 2 Slides. What a disappointment. The upper material is very slick and therefore no matter when wearing the 7 or the 8 my foot slipped out when walking. They are so wide across the top they allow your foot to slide back and forth, and my foot is not narrow. I am a consistent B width. My only hope is that my original Oras don't ever wear out or Hoka One One decides to bring back Ora 1.

These are ugly but feel good! I wear a 7.5 and ordered the 7. They are almost too short but I like that the strap hugs my foot.

These slides fit well and feel great! I normally would not pay $49 for slides, but these are well worth the price. I put them on and wore them everyday for a week. I liked them so much that I ordered the two other colors that they come in for women. Rarely have I found something this comfortable. There are many dogs in my home and these slides help me be agile.

I really didn't think I'd keep these, since the first try-on felt like too much material under my arch. But, after walking in them a few minutes I realized my whole foot was relaxing and definitely feeling better after a run. This sandal makes your foot walk normally and really supports the midfoot, as Hoka says. It puts your ankles in a neutral place, especially for an over-pronator like myself. The plush feel is great, but not too squishy so you can feel the support. I first ordered a size 6, a whole size down as recommended, but had to reorder my usual size 7 and it fits perfectly. The length is perfect and the width is ample but not too swimmy. If you go a size down, the width is much narrower and the heel hangs off the back a bit.

Comfy, snug fit, nice looking! More on the fit: My foot isn't really the length of a size 9, but because it is slightly wider than a medium width, with a closed toe shoe, 9 works perfectly. With open sandals, I typically go 1/2 to one size smaller. Because this shoe doesn't come in a half size, I went to a whole size below. They are perfect.

I love these!!! I have wide feet and they fit like a glove. They are very lightweight and cushiony. I like them so much I might order another pair. I know a lot of reviews say they aren’t cute- but I think they are so cute as well!!

I have arthritis so I wanted to replace my slippers with softer shoes (we have tile floors). These shoes are both soft and supportive on the bottom.
The one problem I had with them was with the top of the shoes: I have an extremely high instep so I had to cut back the top straps so they did not rub on the top of my instep. Once I cut the straps back they were perfect. They are not pretty but they are perfect for what I want them for.

Oh my God I love these shoes. I am so glad I listened to the positive reviews and went for it. I have worn Hoka running shoes forever (and they have saved my knees and lower back) but didn't know they made a slide. I have plantar fasciitis which was instantly cured when my doctor recommended Vionic flip flops which are great with bare feet, but in cooler weather I didn't have a great option. I even (ridiculously) bought socks made for flip flops and they fit terribly with crappy fabric. I didn't buy other slides because I really need a therapeutic shoe--even for around the house-- with a good arch and cushioning. After I bought my most recent Hoka running shoes on Zappos they emailed me what is usually a slightly annoying pitch for yet another shoe but I am so grateful they did. I live in these now. I have a very average size 8 shoe and for me they fit perfectly and I don't slide around in them as some complained they did. Moral of the story is to always try a shoe for yourself and see. These fit--and feel--like a dream.

These slides were everything I hoped for in a comfortable shoe to wear around the house. I have a bone spur on the base of my toe and these are wide enough to accommodate that on top of being super cushioned.

I’m wearing these as “house slippers” and I don’t take them off. I have hallux rigidus (major stiffening of my big toe joint) and these make me so comfortable!! I went up a size on purpose so I could wear them with my fuzzy socks in the house. If I wear them barefoot in the summer they still won’t be too big. Highly recommend these for comfort!!

I have cancer and it gives me severe back pain. I needed a shoe that I could shoe slip on easily. This slide is perfect. It gives support yet is easy to slide on. I would buy again and again.

I have wide feet, narrow heels. The older Arahi walking shoes aren't quite wide enough, but the local store didn't have much selection, so I bought them. Three years later they still work. Sold on HOKAs. So I saw these slides. Local store had them, a size smaller than I normally wear. With (professionally made) orthotics. I had to insist I wanted to try them on a size smaller, even with wide feet.
They fit! They stay on, they mold with my feet in the right place (unlike flip flops which seem to twist). And they have CUSHION! Now, I'm not sure they'd be so wide for smaller women -- I'm just under 200# so my compressing them allows a bit more space in the slide strap. But 9D in Arahis with custom orthotics in place, and 8 in Ora Recovery slides, works in my case, and well.
I can wear them after exercise without pain to my arches because they mold so nicely. I've worn Crocs, embarrassing my family to no end, because they provide enough arch support when new to wear all day. These got the seal of approval for style, even! And they're only a few dollars more than Crocs, with FAR more cushioning.

Omg why don’t all shoes feel like this? Amazing arch support and great for my plantar fasciitis. The shape of the sole permits the ball of the foot to splay out. Relieves my foot pain. A zillion stars. Now please make dress shoes feel like this.

I am not supposed to go bare foot (which is a bummer for me) because of foot issues. I do a lot bopping around the house and I don't like to wear outdoor footwear inside. I have been to the podiatrist quite a few times because of foot pain. Since I have gotten these shoes, my feet feel 90% better.

Unlike the first gen Oras, these are very wide. I *do not* have narrow feet, but these were absurdly wide. I had to return these.
Scoured other websites until I found the original Ora slides. Those are absolutely wonderful and fit normal width feet. They're great! This new version, however, is not.

Absolutely incredible slide! I couldn't wear anything on my left foot with my plantar fasciitis and heel spur! Constant nagging pain ! I wore an air cast for a month all the time unless sleeping or bathing. No other shoes or sneakers were comfortable when I took off my boot- cast. My dr. recommended these and I dragged my feet buying them because I've spent a lot on shoes and sneakers that didn't work!
What a great investment! Only 50.00 and they were so comfortable and gave pain relief right away! They continue to provide even more comfort as my foot is able to rest and heal as I wear them! The secret is the technology they've developed. These are plush, like marshmallows however they are firm and don't bend easily. This prevents overuse of the fascia and helps take the inflammation down. Did I mention they have superior arch support!
My daughter was coming for a visit and was experiencing severe heel pain in both feet. She received cortisone injections twice! Without much relief! She ordered a pair and also has great relief in symptoms! We both ordered the peony color and they look fresh and modern. On par with a croc look only better! Beyond thrilled! Sneakers are my next order! They do run generous in size. I'm a 6 1/2 and ordered the size 6 after reading reviews. They're great! Best investment in a longggg time!

This footwear is very supportive. I was looking for indoor slippers that were cushiony for my knee, hip & lumbar pain. Best decision I made. I no longer experience pain as I did in regular mules.
Only drawback is I have skinny narrow width feet size 9. These slippers are a little roomy but they don't fly off.

I bought two pairs. One i wear only inside my condo and a pair to wear outside. They make amazing slippers sandals to wear inside the house, i feel like I'm walking on air when wearing this. I am a size 6.5 in hoka shoes and ordered a size 6. The 6 fits amazing. I hope this helps

These Recovery slides are fantastic. I have a neuroma in one of my feet but these sandals, because of the meta-rocker, allow me to walk practically pain free!!!

Normally I wear a size 9 in this brand but followed the recommendation of this site (and others) and went with an 8. The fit is exactly right though I do wish they were just a tad bit wider. I'd like to get a second pair but will probably pick up the mens instead to hopefully get a little extra width. The shoe itself is exceptionally comfortable and supportive. I have a bone deformity in the front of my foot and can't go ten feet without shoes on. These are perfect for sensitive feet. However, for me, they were not an answer for plantar fascia - another reason I bought them. While they are supportive overall, they're not as "therapeutic" as regular Hoka's. I read elsewhere that other's had great success wearing these for plantar fascia but for me, I needed something more built up in the heel. My husband is on his feet all day and after "trying" on me, he wants a pair too. Wonderful for after being on your feet all day!

I have a red pair of Recovery's and they fit well around my size 7 foot. My daughter has a black pair of the same 'old style' Recovery's and they fit her well also. The new style of Recovery's that have ridges across the top are not wider in the foot bed But they are TOO wide around the foot. I have a high arch and a history of planter fasciitis. Even with the high arch these are loose. They are good with socks to wear as house slippers. GO BACK TO THE OLD STYLE AND DIMENSIONS.

They are not that stylish, even in the lantana/pink color. I didn't buy them for that, though. I suffer from PF and can't go for too long without shoes, even in the house. Was looking for something to help relieve my pain, but easy to wear at home. These fit the bill. I have flip flops I usually wear at home, but when I want to wear socks those don't work. These are a bit wide on me (I have medium width feet), but that works for being easy on/off if wearing socks. They are so comfortable and really support my feet. I was between these and Oofos, but I wear Hoka Arahi 4 for walking/running (love them), so I figured I'd grab these. I can generally wear good/stylish sandals/flip flops without issues, so wouldn't wear these out running errands. Also, unlike my many black or brown standard flip flops, these don't get mixed up with my son's flip flops (he wears the same size as me).
