This is an update on my June 8 review, noting problems with being sent the wrong colors of these pants. Since that review, a Zappos representative has reached out to me, apologizing for the mix-up, offering me a promotional discount, and inviting me to call and discuss the problem in more detail with them so they can try to correct it. This is excellent customer service, and I'm happy to give Zappos a five-star review for their service and concern for customers' experience.

After 5 washs the color is fading.

Literally the best pants I’ve ever owned. I always shied away from Dockers because I felt like they weren’t for me, but I mean, they are basically nicer Levis.

These are literally the best pants I own in every way. Perfectly true to size. Absolute quality and very, very flattering shape in the legs once you hem or cuff them

Docker Slim Tapered Signature Lux is now my very favorite casual pant. I bought 5 of them in past 3 weeks from Zappos. I love the way they fit from my waist and how nicely tapered they are at the bottom.

I think these are some of the best khakis I have ever purchased. They are super comfortable and the stretch makes for a nicer touch. Also, the cut on these is not incredibly skinny but still slim enough to be stylish and comfortable. My only gripe with any khaki pant is the amount of lint that they attract. Besides that, I will most likely be purchasing additional pairs in additional colors.

The pants I was sent were slim, not tapered. Those are two different Dockers styles. The description needs to remove the word tapered.

Perfect fit & love the more modern style. The blue is a great color-like a slate blue.

I have ordered several pairs of these, in different colors, for my husband. He is quite pleased with them. They are medium weight, and appear quite sturdy and well-made, and although slim cut have a good amount of stretch. I expect he will get a lot of wear from them. However, Zappos kept sending me pants that were not the color ordered, and in some cases may have been the color ordered by the real article appeared quite different in color from that pictured in the on-line catalog. This occasioned a frustrating series of ordering, sending back, ordering and sending back again, etc. Perhaps the problem is that no tag on the pants itself gives the color in English (as opposed to a number), so it's hard for agents to pick and pack them accurately. Eventually I gave up and ordered the final pair from another vendor, whose color pictures were more accurate than those of Zappos, and who made no mistakes in sending the color I ordered.

It's well made with thick sturdy fabric, but it's not a slim fit! It fits more like a skinny fit. Not what I was looking for. I wanted a modern looking slim fit. It tapers from mid thigh to ankle to closely hug your legs. A nope for me.

This is my second pair of these pants in the same size. The first pair I ordered through the Dockers website and this pair from Zappos. For some reason they fit differently and I like the pants from the Dockers site better. The pair from Zappos had a narrower leg opening so I returned them. One thing I noticed is that there is wear around the edges of where my phone sits in my pocket that started after a few weeks. And now after 2 months it is a permanent worn spot in the shape of my iPhone. Doesn’t really bother me since I only wear the pants for work days when I’m getting dirty. Overall I would recommend these as they’re good quality and style pants for the price.
