I'm an US Army war vet and suffer from a foot condition. I have tried Nike air ASICS gel but none as comfortable as these.

These shoes are very comfortable right out of the box. My only nit is that the tongue attachment point is a little sharp, but not enough to detract from the overall review. Really happy thus far.

I got the 12-1/2 because the 12 was too tight. I ordinarily wear 12 in Brooks, Altra and Adidas

Sized exactly like the other Hokas I've owned (Mafate 2, 3, 4; Bondi 5, 6; Stinson ATR 4). They are definitely skinnier than those, which is a good thing on technical trails. The Stinson ATR 4 feels amazing, but doesn't hug my foot quite tight enough for really Rocky trails, but this Speedgoat does. And the cushioning feels every bit as plush. I like em.

So far these shoes have worked out as I had hoped for playing golf. Because of Hallux rigidus I require a shoe with a stiff sole and with a rocker design. The Speedgoat 3 WP fills the bill as they make walking enjoyable. I have just started using them for golf and cannot yet comment on their water proof characteristics and overall durability. Traction on the turf is very good. Foe dry conditions i used a Bondi in learher and fabric.

Bought a pair just for the rainy weekend of soccer refereeing. Stayed dry for 8 hours, only got damp from the wet socks being hit with rain Not as good of support as my bondi but still good. I Need them in wide width though.

I wear these daily, whether it's at the gym or walking the dog. These are like spring boards. I love them! My favorite Hoka's yet.

I've been wearing the shoes for the last month on the golf course. I'm an avid runner and triathlete for the last 10 years. I love to walk the course but normal golf shoes can't come close to my normal Hoka-Bondi running shoes. So that's what I thought until I ordered the speedgoat waterproof. Caddies on the PGA tour have been using Hokas. Traction, comfort, and support. My new go to golf shoes for 18 holes of speed walking!!!!

Try them on before you buy. I went with 1 /2 size larger, because the toe box is a little cramped. For me that worked. Cushioning and support are excellent. Traction on Costa Rican rainforest trails with a lot of rock and roots was superb. They sound funny on concrete, but for hiking on trails they are peerless.

These are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever hiked in. They are an improvement on the Speedgoat 2. But you need to expect them to wear out quicker than other shoes because they are so comfortable and soft.

I ran 5 miles in fresh snow powder on day 1 of having these shoes. Feet stayed dry and extremely comfortable. I just want compatible gaiters now!

Used these shoes for the "Way to cool 50k". At one point the trail was about six inches deep with water ad my feet stayed dry for the most part. Everyone else was complaining about wet feet but it was a none issue for me. The cushioning was great over the rocks. The grip of this shoe I fowl weather was down right amazing! The only negative was I felt a little clumsy in this shoe. However that is the trade off for amazing cushion. Great shoe and I highly recommend.

I am coming off a broken 5th metatarsal. Hoka was recommended to me by a friend. My shoes were intended to be baseball umpire shoes for the bases. After Covid cancelled the baseball season, they have become my daily go to.

I started wearing Hoka One One shoes about 3 months ago when my RN daughter told me that almost her entire floor wore Hoka One One shoes. I walk about an hour every day and the side of my right foot was experiencing some discomfort. Bought the Clifton 6 in 9 1/2 wide and it fit me like a glove. I fell in love with the cushioning and the light weight and shortly thereafter bought the Bondi 6 in black to wear for work. Again, very comfortable, cushiony, and light weight. I felt the Clifton had was even more cushiony and it remained my favorite Hoka shoe. Next I decided to buy a hiking shoe so I bought size 9 1/2 Toa. Unfortunately, the Toa didn't come in wide and I immediately returned it because it felt too narrow. I bought the Kaha in black 9 1/2 and although a wide size wasn't available, it was wide enough for me and I decided to keep it. I was looking for an all purpose walking, hiking, and traveling shoe and I discovered the Speedgoat 3 in black. The color was conservative, waterproof, the bottoms grippy and vibram, and cushiony and light weight. The only problem was there were no wide sizes so i ordered a half size larger and wore them today for my hour walk. As expected, the shoes felt a little narrow and because I ordered a half size larger, there was a little slippage in the heal area. I'm going to give these shoes another few days and see if they don't cause me any discomfort on the side of my foot. Please Hoke One One, make a wide size in this model. It is the perfect shoe for my walking, casual hiking, and traveling. A very good all purpose shoe.

Need waterproof sneakers for morning on golf course when it is wet from sprinklers. Feel ok for a while but need wider toe box similar to Stinson 5 or option of wide

Trail running multiple times. Hiked two 10k + in Norway during wet season. Most comfortable hokas I own. The sole is tough and tread is really good. I will but them again and would recommend them. My critique is the show laces are designed funny and do not stay tied. In addition the water proof she'll peeled quickly. My shoe store replaced them but I worry because I feel it will occur again. A little more R&R, and company testing will correct the deficiency.

I bought these for an upcoming trail race. I've been running in the Bondi's for the past 3 models and love the cushioning that they have but hate the lack of traction. I was intrigued by the Speed Goats mainly because they looked like they had plenty of cushioning like the Bondi's and a wider toe box. What I found out is that I needed to go up a 1/2 size to get the right width for me in the toe box. So right now I am wearing a size 11 1/2 Speed Goat 3 WP and a size 11 Bondi 6. Other than being a bit narrow they feel real cushioned when I run, similar to the feel of the Bondi 6's that I normally run in. I like the Vibram soles on the bottom and could feel the grip they gave me as I ran on 4 miles of snow and ice covered roads here in Syracuse NY. Normally I would have felt some sliding on the snow as I ran when running with my road shoes. I cant wait to take them out on the trails within a month or so when the trails open up here. But so far I have been impressed with these shoes and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a cushioned trail shoe.

The toe boxes on these shoes are particularly uncomfortable. The shoe pushes down on my first toenail on both feet. The gussets rub on the tops of both feet. I ordered the same size I have worn in every other running shoe I have ever used. They feel very cushiony which I really like. Would a bigger size help solve these problems? 1/2, full? Any feedback from those who have had similar experiences with this shoe?
