We just got back from Manitou Springs, CO. These worked great on all the trails we went on! Hiked the Manitou Incline and loved how light and comfortable they were! I will be purchasing another pair as soon as these are worn out! That might be a while with how they held up! Looking forward to using them back in rainy Michigan.

I have owned versions 1 and 2. Just picked up version 3 at my local running specialty shop in Reno. Fit was excellent right out of the box. I also own Nike Wildhorse 5s and Salomon S Lab ultras. I have a bad knee so no running but I use these for sport hiking. They fit true to size. My favorite trail shoe.

I bought my first pair of Hokas 3 years ago and this was pair number 4. I bought these for trail running. I run trail runs up to Marathons. I bought these for trail running. Great Cushion for my old knees and feet

I bought these shoes with the trail in mind. Thought they would be good for hiking. Fact: they are great for hiking or any other use you may need. Light, fast, and comfortable most of all. I was concerned about other reviews mentioning the narrow toebox. At 6'2 285lbs I'm not a small man. I ordered a size 13 and they fit true to size. I notice no difference among these and the other athletic type shoes that i own, e.g., under armor, nike, etc. (I mean fit of shoe). Thanks for these shoes HOKA ONE ONE!

I regard the Speedgoat to excel in all categories of running - not just trail running. It's like an F-150 - luxury that goes anywhere with superior performance.

I used this product to run 5K Races and long distance walks. The comfort was great and it is definitely a well- balanced shoe. I will be purchasing this shoe again.

Living in Washington, DC I do almost all of my trail running in Rock Creek Park where the trails are mostly in pretty poor condition. The Speedgoat 3's provide a fantastic combination of cushion, traction, and relatively low weight. Feet and legs feel fresh after a nice 12 mile loop at paces ranging from 8 to 11 minute miles over rocks, roots, and the occasional railroad tie. Great shoes.

I think I picked up a step or two running the bases with more comfort than ever. Been playing slowpitch softball for over 30 years. These are my new softball shoes. I play oitfield on grass and turf with these shoes. Only need cleats when the grass is wet. I now have three pair of Hoka shoes. Don't have plans to ever wear another brand. Since I have been wearing Hoka shoes my feet don't hurt. I wear redwing boots at work with dbl inserts for more softness. My feet need stability and cusion. Hoka saved my feet. Ty Hola.

First off the sizing is true to fit. Quality of structure is perfect. Colors are great. The shoe itself performs beautifully. I am hotshot Firefighter with the San Bernardino national forest. I do a lot of trail running and I am very blessed to have found these shoes. I love them and would recommended them to anyone doing trail running. They feel like pillows on your feet and they have very good grip. They grab onto all surfaces. Try these shoes, you won't regret it.

This is my 4th pair of Hoka shoes. I had the Clifton 2 and 2 other trail running shoes. All of them were really good but it feels like this pair is a perfection for trail running. I have my new shoes for a month now and I just completed a trail run of half a marathon with elevation of 2200 ft. The grip of the show on the foot is terrific going up and down. The thick and light sole observes the shock from the ground so well I didn't have any ache at the end. Good job Hoka One One !!!

Avid trail runner, 50-60 miles per week. My background with Hoka began back with the original Challenger atr and the Huaka. Since then I transitioned to the Speedgoat 2 which has been my go to trail shoe. So my comparison is based against the Speedgoat 2 versus the 3. And let me start off by saying if you liked the 2, you'll like the 3. This version honestly could have very easily been an unofficial update on Speedgoat 2 color options and not many people would have noticed the changes. I barely noticed the changes and I have had and "ran out" six pairs off Speedgoat 2's. One thing I hope and believe the 3's addressed is the durability issues with the dreaded "blowout" by the pinky toe that was a known issue for the SG 2. There seems to be more reinforcement in this area. I took my pair out of the box and ran 18 miles with no problems what so ever. Same fit and traction as the SG 2. Overall that pretty much sums it up. For people who say that Hoka's have a narrow toe box, you maybe correct, but have your foot measured for width. Just because your width fits in other brands does not necessarily mean your foot isn't wide. Also know going in that this version of the SG has what feels like a little wider in the toe box that previous. I don't know if it actually is, but by comparison it does feel like I have more room.

Being an Older, Muscular built Man(not a typical runner!), with multitudes of issues in feet, knees, hips, and lower back...I was needing a Softer shoe. I was afraid of instability on the rugged trails I run. One run belayed all fears! I still hurt after 2 hour runs...But, only a fraction compared to these past few years! Such an amazing combination of Stability and cushioning! This shoe just added several more years to my running life!

These feel a touch wider than the SpeedGoat 2s. I couldn't wear the previous model. Theses matched with Injinji socks has been absolute bliss. I feel so locked in and no slop up or down hill, no ankle rolls either. Please don't change this shoe.

I really like this model. Hooka OneOne is the best sneakers for hard road jogging. My sore knees don't feel the bumps.

I have maybe 200 mikes on mine and love them. I run on rough trails and have zero problems with rocks or stability. The very small drop really helps maintain a mid foot strike and maintaining a good stride.
