This Hoka has lots of toe room and of course amazing cushioning for the sole of your foot. Love the color. I am a female who wears a 9.5 in women’s. This is my second pair of men’s in a size 8. I like the way the men’s fit better then the women’s.

My son got these after being fitted in a running store. We had to order them because they didn’t have the size or color he wanted in the store. He has a very flat foot, pronates tremendously, and has suffered from Achilles tendonitis this summer. He has used these for cross country practice for the last 4 days and hasn’t complained about his feet at all.

I typically purchase several pairs of Hoka One One(s) every year. This year (2019) ,I have already ordered two pairs (via Zappos). .I usually wear the Arahi 3 or occasionally I will wear a different model, but always Hoka One One. I have been an avid runner for over 40 years. My feet have really taken a beating, especially my arches. The Hoka One Ones are, for me, the most comfortable, running shoe I have ever worn. As a side note; I wear a size 10.5, usually a D width or sometimes a EE width. Bottom line, the Hoka One One is a great running shoe and well worth the cost..
I'd also recommend:
New Balance, especially for people with foot problems.

My favorite shoe thus far! I’ve tried Brooks but when I got my last pair of Ghosts (11) the shoe felt so tight and stiff. I was fitted for Hoka Arahi 2 last year in August and they were a dream since day one. I needed to replace them after putting almost 400 miles on them. The moment I put the Arahi 3 on I felt that same cushion and comfort. I like the style better as well. I am a woman but I order in men’s sizes, 9 1/2. The color suits me fine as well, kind of feminine! The shoe isn’t as bulky looking as it’s predecessor so that makes it even better. I love Arahi 3 and I will keep buying them as long as they fit just like this!

I'm going to be the lone voice of dissent here. But please, let me caveat this with two things: 1.) I bought these for my 14 year-old son for middle-school track. He only ran a few weeks of track (pulled his hammy). He's not a distance runner but he is giant for his age (6'1, size 14!!) and admittedly rough on his shoes. That said -- his last Hokas lasted nearly a year. These are unwearable after only 3 months; 2.) I am an ultrarunner myself, and only wear Hokas. I have never had issues with them until now. As I mentioned, my son's Arahi 3's lasted a full 3 months before falling completely apart. We're talking: a piece of the base layer poking a hole completely through the heel, shoes looking like they were dragged through hell and back. While this may sound like, "Oh duh, well it's a kid who's clearly rough on his shoes and running track" -- what concerns me is that he only ran a few weeks of the track season and ended up having to quit because of the pulled hammy, so it's not like he ran the entire 3 months. In fact, he *couldn't* run most of those two months because the Physical Therapist told him not to (the same PT who said, "Man, how old are those shoes? Maybe that's why you hurt your hammy?"!!). So take that for what you will, but I'm not repurchasing these for him. I might try the Gaviota 2 instead, which have been great for me (and better than Gaviota 1 by far!). I'm hoping this was just a weird fluke and a bad pair. These were NOT the durable Hokas that I'm used to.

These are extremely comfortable. I am a big guy, 6'3", 235 lb. I'm recovering from major knee surgery and am about to start jogging. I ordered 5 pairs of shoes and decided to keep these. I really like the padding under the forefoot as I plan to concentrate on becoming a midfoot striker. They are not overly cushioned though, I do not feel unstable in them. As I progress in the recovery I envision myself shifting towards less cushioned shoes, however, to help develop more stability in my feet rather than relying on the shoes. For my current purposes, these are fantastic. I don't care for the look of the huge soles, but appearances are not what I am after at this point.

I ordered the 10.5 in 2E width. I have ordered wide shoes from Zappos before with no problem but these shoes seemed to squeeze my foot too much to consider.

I've been wearing Brooks & Under Armour shoes but needed a wider athletic shoe. I am a female & wear size 11 in Under Armour & size 11.5 in Brooks. I have rheumatoid arthritis & have arthritis in my big toe, hammer toes & a bunion by my little toe. These Hoda One One Arahi 3 are fantastic. They are wide enough to keep my feet from hurting & there is no heel slippage. I ordered the men's 10 EE & was worried the heel would not fit due to the width but they fit great. They have lots of cushion too. My feet are pretty flat so the arch support is just right for me, if it is too much, the shoes are uncomfortable. I wish I could have bought them in all the colors but I could only get 2, the rest were out-of-stock. If you have problem feet, I highly recommend these shoes!!!

Awesome shoe! I would highly recommend to people who over-pronate and are looking for a light shoe that doesn’t feel or look clunky. Thanks Zappos for the speedy delivery!

Super comfortable with just enough cushioning. Really appreciate the added stability. I use my Arahis for walking and light jogging.

So Far they seem to be very comfortable and supportive for being on my feet all day. I hope they will last more than a few months. Which seem to be the case with Asics Kayano's. They used to be my go to shoes until they changed the soles in the updated model.

Fit-wise this was comparable to other Hokas I've tried --- a bit long and a bit narrow for the sizing. The Arahi 3 has wide sizes which helped me since I like a larger toe-box. For some reason, the cushioning isn't quite as comfy as the Arahi 1 and Arahi 2. Toe strikes feel a bit stiffer and something about the heel drop feels off versus the Arahi 1 (still my favorite of the bunch; it's a shame it's no longer around). Overall, a solid running shoe in the Hoka style but not my favorite Hoka of all time.

I have always used Asics, but have a few running friends that love Hoka so decided to give it a try... Horrible, the Hokas are not made for Flat feet, I had to first send them back as they were very narrowed, and decided to keep trying with the wider size, bad idea, I should have returned them and get my money back. If you are a big guy and flat footed, don't waste your money

The first time I bought these was the summer on 2018 for summer running and I was able to use these without any real problems or injuries until I got around 1,000 miles on them. Once i realized how many miles I had on them I retired them and bought another pair. I have already put around 500 miles on the new pair and I'm currently running 60-70 miles per week and wearing primarily these. I do anything from 800 repeats in the woods to long runs in these.

Fit great, these are the only shoes that seem to work for my aching feet! I'v been having such an issue with over pronation of my left foot, it has been hard to find comfortable shoes to work 10 hour shifts at the hospital on hard floors. These are the bomb.

Felt like putting on a soft glove that fit just right. I have multiple foot problems and these are the most comfortable tennis shoes that I can ever remember wearing. I can wear them all day without the foot pain I have during and after wearing other shoes. I wear them mainly for walking, but am starting to wear them for other things because they are so comfortable.

These are the best walking sneakers I have ever worn. 10,000 steps a day and 3 to 4 low intensity cardio 1 hr classes a week

I wore the Arahi 3's for my most recent Marathon on Nov 3rd and PR'd by 9 minutes! I had only had them for 4 days and decided to wear them for race day even without having a break-in period. I have never felt better after running 26.2. These shoes are seriously comfortable and feel very light on your feet.

I've been an Asics runner for years, but due to recent shin issues after trying to change my foot strike, I decided to give the Arahi 3s a shot due to the "J-frame" technology and "meta rocker". I have high arches and tend to over pronate, but I feel like I am getting the support I need from these shoes. I also feel like the rocker encourages a mid-sole foot strike, which is good for me as a long time heel-striker. Light weight shoes with great support. I would definitely recommend

I'm a large (6.2, 215lb) runner, primarily using this as everyday day runner, splitting time with other shoes. To me, the shoe hits the sweet spot. A neutral shoe, with mild unobtrusive support for tired legs. Very natural feeling. It has a firm but cushioned ride.
