I was looking to replace a pair of Clayton 2. I can assure you, these are no replacements for the Clayton. The Mach 2 do not offer much cushion, if fact, I find them some what uncomfortable.

I really wanted to love these, but the rubber midsoles are just so uncomfortable. Incentive I put them on I could immediately tell that I wouldn't be able to wear these shoes. The midsoles are uncomfortable, whenever I bend my leg even slightly forward, they poke at me. I could feel them through my socks. Unfortunate, becaue I really loved the color and design.

Disappointing because I think most Hokas are amazing, however these are not. They are one size too large and uncomfortable. Nice color though

I sent these back. So uncomfortable.

The tongue is sharp and digs into ankle. I tried to cut it shorter but is still very sharp. Then covered it with tape. A little better. Will not buy again.

Ran in the shoe for about a week and had constant knee pain. Returned to former running shoe with no problems. The former running shoe is a minimalist shoe. Thought the "extra cushioning" of Hoka could be good. I couldn't feel any cushioning in the shoe. Might be the right shoe for other people.

Bought these from an authorized retailer and the salesman told me these were the best of the best. I take them for a test drive the next day and I got shin splits immediately. I am an avid runner and I couldn't even last 2 mins on the treadmill because of how uncomfortable my feet were.

I don't like these sneakers at all. No give at all. Not only are you feeling like you have to cement blocks on your feet, but the inside sole comes up so high and sticks into the arch of your foot....a HUGE blister waiting to happen. Felt cheaply made and could not send them back fast enough...

This is just not a good shoe. Really nice looking and great colors. Got it to be my alternate with the Cavu 1 (which I love so much). Got blisters. Never could break it in. Now the Cavu 2 is okay but not as smooth as the Cavu 1. The Mach seemed like a similar ride but it's stiff and rough and awkward. I wear it for short walks around the city.
