This jacket is a perfect layering piece for skiing, hiking or any cold weather activity or on its own as a light sweater. It is very soft and fits comfortably with the exception of the neck/collar which is a bit snug when the zipper is zipped all the way up. It is roomy through the body however it a bit short in length if you are tall. Having it a bit shorter does make it look a bit more tailored when wearing alone. It washes and dries quickly making it a good travel piece.

I use this as a layering piece. By itself to 60f, with an atom lt to 25f. If it gets more gnarly than that, I can toss my alpha sv over it down to whatever. It's nice, soft, and casual, but not something you want to rely on as your one of your one-two punch. Unless you live somewhere more temperate. There are more substantial fleece options from Arcteryx that don't cost much more; this just suits my setup.

Stylish and functional . Fits slightly on the small side . One star off because of the logo would like to see that in a less conspicuous location on the bottom and not such a contrasting color . Also a little pricey for what it is.
Don't love this year's colourswhen will some new colours come out?

I love this jacket so far and had the most difficult time, so I had gone back and forth with size S and M. Small was nice and fitted, but medium also fit but was more baggier around the armpit area. It makes it very difficult to decide, at least for me. I ended up going w/ M due to the fear of being tight when twisting and turning. It did not this time!

I am usually a size small, but with this piece I tried on a medium that gave me a tiny bit more room then the large. The difference between the medium and large was way more than between the small and medium. I ended up getting the large so I could put some layers underneath it. I would have gotten the medium if I knew I was just going to wear a T-shirt underneath it. Unfortunately the large is way too long in the sleeves and torso but the width was more of my concern for layering. This was true with each color I tried on.
I love the soft comfy feel of this jacket. It definitely kept me warm enough in the high sierras backpacking over Labor Day weekend.

I find that ever new"er" generation of a jacket with Arcteryx gets bigger or longer with age. In the older model of many Arc pieces, the cut was generally fitting and more geared towards catering to the outdoor sports but this newer delta (and others) have experienced growth in size, but more noticeable length. This can be a positive or negative on how you use the piece. I would say its neutral for me because I use this new delta for everyday and weekend trips.
Length in the torso is added for this piece and its appreciated in everyday clothing, I wear this Delta to work almost year round minus our hot summers. Its breathable and provides good warmth despite its thickness. Its a nice under layer in colder weather and appreciated on spring and early summer mornings.
However, the extra length does add extra bulk in sports such as belaying/climbing when the extra material sits under the climbing harness. Its more added bulk when you perform reaching motions and the material is tugging underneath the harness.
Overall its a nice jacket, I keep mine in the pack or at the bottom of my work sack just in case I need one handy. Its a nicely constructed piece that has evolved with time and has gain some size. Trim fit is not the same as it was with previous generations but its a small difference

A year ago I would have given this jacket a 5+ rating. In 2015 I bought a black Delta LT, size small and I loved it. I wore it hiking, traveling, at work... it was tight-fitting and short, fit underneath every jacket without showing and added a layer of warmth or covered my work uniform in public without being too hot.
Last year I decided to add to my wardrobe and bought two more, also because the first jacket was starting to show signs of wear.
But these new Delta LT jackets are bigger than the old model. They are longer and wider in body and sleeves.
While still good jackets, their current fit very much reduces their versatility for me.
I wish I had bought more when I bought the first one.

This is a great layering piece, over a base layer and under a wind or hard shell. Add a vest to beef it up in cold weather. Sleeves are a bit long for every day use, but nice for active use, e.g. climbing. First one was a gift, the second one I just ordered for myself. Generally, I find Arcteryx (and one other brand) to be a good cut for my body type - other quality manufacturers not so much.

I love this sweater and have it in three colors and two sizes (some of them a few years old). The fabric holds up well and the fit is great for tall women -- the arms are long enough that I never get cold wrists. Not sure why another reviewer said it wouldn't fit tall women... I'm 5' 10" and it fits me perfectly (and I'm athletic, not wide). I also have swimmer shoulders, and this fits perfectly.

There is not too many fleece jackets that are this thin and light. Just what I needed, when regular jackets or sweaters are to warm. I'm 5'8, 148lbs and got the medium. I first tried the small. Arcteryx shell jackets in small use to be right for me. But this small was too tight around the chest. The small fit like I want a base layer to fit. The medium was a little too loose, but ok, with some room to move around. The weird thing was the arm length. I left it to a tailor and had to shorten the arms by 4 inches...

I wear this over a 200 weight merino base layer and find it warm enough for cold days skiing with only a shell on top. It's very light and comfortable. I think the sleeve length is a bit longer than other brands' mediums which I quite like as I'm 6'. The material is very soft, I hope it stands the test of time.

Fits well. I am 185lbs, 6 feet 1 and the medium is perfect. Slighlty lighter weight than I thought it would be but still good. Good for fall days or as a mid layer for colder days.

Great jacket. Thin and fit nicely. But even it says it is insulated, it's more for the fall season at around 5 - 7 c as a mid layer. You will need something more heavy duty in a -15 to -20 winter.

Arcteryx pushes the envelope, IMHO, by calling the Delta LT Fleece a "mid-weight" layer. The fit, styling and construction are all obviously dialed, but the Delta LT is lacking a few simple details that leave the discerning user scratching their head.
I was looking for a fleece mid-layer to pair with the ICONIC Alpha SL hardshell pullover. The Delta LT, unfortunately, is anemic at best.
So how would I improve upon the Delta LT? Well Let's start with a heavier weight of Polartec Classic. Next we add stretchy and breathable side and underarm panels. How about a higher collar? Check. Zipper chin guard? Check. Thumb loops? Check. And lastly, a simple hang loop. Double check.
And there you have it. The perfect Arcteryx MID-WEIGHT layering fleece.

I bought this in the reflection color expecting it in a sort of nice sky blue. It came in a dark turquoise. I like the jacket but the color match between picture and the reality is way off. Not the first time. Get it together.

This is a lovely jacket and I really wanted to keep it, but I was expecting a blue jacket (reflection) and in fact the colour was closer to green/turquoise. This was really disappointing. I would suggest that either the colour match is improved on your website or you use the colour name in the product detail, eg pale blue, dark green etc

Bought the exosphere colour which is clearly dark navy on the website the colour that came is much lighter greens / grey. How are you supposed to trust your website if the colours are so mismatched you have now sides what you will get. Will return it. Pretty disappointed as this is the first thing I bought from you.

J'aime les vtements Arc'teryx, pour leur coupe, leurs qualits techniques et leurs coloris avant-gardistes. Malheureusement, ils ont oublis les hommes de petites tailles comme moi (5'4", 56 kg). Dommage! Pourtant j'ai un bon budget dpenser... ...ailleurs!!!

Was impressed by the lightweight and stretch performance in the beginning. I quickly realized that is is a very light fleece. It's a bit less than wearing a thermal. It is stylish though so I love wearing it for the outdoors and around town. I live in Israel where it warm in the day during winter, so it is good for places where you might have to take it off and carry. When I was in America in the winter I had no use for it though.
